Working arrangements

About This Job

As Fundraising Assistant at sister charities, ACCT UK and CCFA, you will play a key role in the growth of existing fundraising and in the creation of new income streams. Stewarding fundraisers, helping to develop new and existing fundraising campaigns, building relationships internally within the cadet organisations and externally with Trusts and Foundations, corporates and major givers. You will provide administrative and operational support, including maintaining the fundraising database. Working closely with the rest of the Development team and in particular the Marketing department to ensure that both charities can provide increasing financial support to cadets and adult volunteers across the UK.

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. How you will make a difference

We are looking for a Research and Operations Manager to join our passionate fundraising team. You will play a pivotal role in driving high-value fundraising outcomes across Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK by delivering a strategic, insight-led approach to prospect research and portfolio management.

Managing the Senior Philanthropy and Research Officer you will oversee the identification, qualification and prioritisation of prospects across Philanthropy, Trusts & Grants and Corporate Partnerships. You will lead on due diligence processes, prospect pipeline management, connection mapping and the development of systems and tools that enable data-driven decision-making. Working closely with senior fundraisers and the Interim Head of Trusts and Philanthropy, you will ensure teams have the intelligence and insights needed to build strong, meaningful donor relationships.

Windmill Hill City Farm is an established community hub in central Bristol supporting local people to live active, healthy and fulfilling lives. The farm has over 200,000 visits each year, a life-changing health and social care volunteering programme, a well-respected outdoor learning programme as well as an award-winning café and bustling day-care nursery.

A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Individual Giving Officer to join the Fundraising team in our Central Services department. The role is responsible for shaping and leading the individual giving fundraising programme, raising vital income to continue the charity’s education, health and social care work, develop the site and keep the farm gates open for the community.

You’ll be responsible for using your fundraising experience to develop the individual giving strategy, delivering inspiring, data-driven campaigns and working towards financial targets. As a highly motivated person, you’ll thrive having the independence to design your own programme of work, experimenting with innovative fundraising techniques and increasing the charity’s income from individual giving to really make a difference to the lives of local people.

In this exciting role, you will work closely with the Community & Events Fundraising Manager to develop and deliver a community and events fundraising programme. You will lead on third-party/designated fundraising events and ensure all activities are within budget and meet key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a community and events fundraising programme to maximise supporter relationships and fundraising opportunities.
• Identify and implement fundraising activities to attract new supporters and increase long-term support.
• Lead on third-party/designated fundraising events and activities, ensuring they are delivered to agreed budgets and key performance indicators.
• Build long-term relationships with supporters and maximise opportunities for repeat fundraising.
• Represent Blesma at third-party, Blesma-led, and community-led fundraising events, providing on-the-day support as needed.
• Manage fundraising platforms for community and events fundraising.
• Support the development and promotion of all fundraising activities within the Fundraising Team.
• Maintain accurate records on Raisers Edge to agreed standards and timescales.

About You:

• Proven experience in achieving/exceeding targets in the not-for-profit or commercial sectors.
• Experience of working in a customer/supporter-focused environment.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and fundraising databases (Blesma uses Raisers Edge).
• Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.
• A passion for Blesma’s cause and work.
• A team player with a confident manner; a professional, flexible, positive person.

Fundraising Manager

As the Fundraising Manager for Behind Closed Doors, you will play a key role in developing and delivering a fundraising strategy aligned with the organisation’s vision, mission and values. This is an exciting and varied role with an opportunity for the post-holder to put their own stamp on it. As our Fundraising Manager, you will build on existing relationships with individual donors, community groups and corporate partners, as well as seeking new opportunities.

This role would best suit a creative and strategic mind who enjoys building relationships and inspiring others towards a united vision: to build lives free from domestic abuse. You will be joining a committed and dynamic team; line managing the Training and Development Coordinator, working within the senior management team and reporting to the CEO.
