About FareShare Midlands
FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity, tackling inequality, transforming lives and ensuring no good food goes to waste. We rescue surplus food and redistribute it to over 650 charities and community organisations, helping to feed around 60,000 people every week.
Alongside food redistribution, we invest in people and communities through volunteering, education and employability programmes. The Role
This is a hands-on Digital Marketing Officer role created to support the overall marketing and communications, with specific responsibilities in respect of employability programmes and overall Hub-based activity.
Working closely with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager and the wider MarComms team, the postholder will deliver engaging, practical marketing and communications activity that supports:
- General marketing and communications
- Employability SkillsShare programmes
- Project-based initiatives such as local pantries
- Internal communications and staff/volunteer engagement
- New opportunities such as meeting room hire, community kitchen hire and events
This role is ideal for someone with strong video, content and digital skills, who enjoys variety, collaboration and seeing their work directly enable delivery teams and participants.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Content & Video
- Lead on the creation and editing of video content for:
o Social media and digital channels
o Impact stories and case studies
o Employability programmes and participant journeys
o Internal communications and staff engagement
- Capture and edit short-form and long-form content aligned to brand guidelines
- Support filming opportunities across the Hub and wider organisation
Employability & Hub Marketing
- Work closely with the Employability team to support recruitment, engagement and promotion of SkillsShare programmes
- Create accessible, engaging content for participants, employers and funders
- Support marketing and communications for Hub-based initiatives, projects and pilots (eg catering, hospitality, pantries)
- Ensure employability activity is consistently represented across digital channels
Campaign & Project Support
- Support marketing and communications activity for:
o Meeting room hire and community kitchen hire
o Events and Hub-based activity
o New routes to market and community projects
- Collaborate with other MarComms officers to deliver integrated campaigns where needed
- Adapt content for different audiences and channels
Email Marketing & Internal Comms
- Support email marketing activity in collaboration with the Senior Manager and Digital Marketing Officer
- Contribute content for internal communications, working alongside the Senior Digital Marketing Officer
- Help ensure staff and volunteers feel informed, engaged and connected during a period of change and growth
Brand, Reporting & Collaboration
- Act as a brand champion, ensuring consistency and quality across outputs

PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Head of Finance will report to the COO, and work closely with the Senior Leadership team, supporting the Theatre’s strategic objectives and decision-making. The postholder will provide strategic and operational leadership to a small and dedicated finance team and will be responsible for the financial management of the Theatre and its subsidiaries, in alignment with organisational strategic plans and budgets, and in compliance with Charity and Company accounting standards and practices. This role is hands on and works closely with each department.
Key Objectives
- Working with the COO to provide Strategic Management: Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee day to day financial operations, leading and managing the Finance team
- Support the COO to ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met, especially in relation to charity accounting regulations
- Managing statutory accounts, external audits, and specialist areas like VAT and Theatre Tax Relief.
- Implement efficient and effective Finance reporting to meet the evolving needs of the business, supporting deep dive analysis for the Executive team where required

Responsibilities
Financial Leadership and Strategy
- Lead and deliver the financial strategy for Belgrade Theatre to ensure long term financial sustainability.
- Support the COO in shaping financial planning and risk management.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans aligned with strategic priorities.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support organisational decision making and business planning.
- Deputise for the COO when required.
Financial Operations and Systems Optimisation
- Oversee and continuously improve financial processes and systems
- Work with external contractors and internal teams to support integration projects between EPOS, CRM, and accounting systems, reducing manual processing and improving data accuracy.
- Proactively identify opportunities for further automation, system improvements, and app integrations that enhance control, reduce costs, or increase capacity.
- Ensure efficient month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
- Maintain oversight of ledgers, payroll, VAT and banking arrangements.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy in grant and restricted fund accounting.
Reporting and Analysis
- Produce monthly management accounts for the COO and work with the COO to produce quarterly reports for the Finance Committee and Trustee Board meetings.
- Report on performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, including cash flow and balance sheet commentary.
- Provide clear and concise analysis and recommendations to support decision making.
- Oversee preparation of detailed project and grant reports for funders and assist the development team with the financial aspects of fundraising bids.
Governance, Compliance, and Risk
- Manage the audit process, ensuring delivery of compliant and timely statutory accounts in line with Charity SORP and Companies Act requirements.
- Act as key point of contact for external auditors, HMRC, and other regulatory bodies.
- Work with senior colleagues to ensure appropriate financial controls, risk management, and business continuity plans are in place.
- Maintain awareness of developments in charity finance legislation and best practice.
Leadership and Team Development
- Line manage and develop the finance team.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development, building a collaborative and accountable team culture.

General

What We Are Looking For
EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Significant, proven experience in a senior finance role, including both strategic and hands-on delivery (qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience working with modern cloud-based accounting systems.
- Proven ability to design and embed effective financial controls and processes.
- Experience producing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Experience liaising with auditors and preparing consolidated statutory accounts under Charity SORP.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on in delivery.
- Proactive problem-solver with a track record of delivering system and process improvements.

Other Information
- The Belgrade operates a House Agreement based on the UK Theatre (formerly TMA)/BECTU (Broadcasting, Entertainment, Cinematograph and Theatre Union) Agreement and its Staff Handbook outlines the terms on sick pay, maternity leave and pay, paternity leave and pay, grievance and discipline and other relevant staff matters
- Employees’ health and safety is of paramount importance, and Management insists that an employee obtains written express permission to take on any paid work or other employment during periods of TOIL (Time Off In Lieu) or holiday. No permission will be given for the first 28 days of holiday as this is a statutory requirement
- On appointment the successful candidate must be able to provide the correct documents as proof of their right to work in the UK.
- The candidate’s contract of employment with the Belgrade Theatre does not come into force until the first day of work
- Staff are entitled to tickets for shows at the Belgrade Theatre, subject to particular conditions and 10% discount at the Theatre’s Café and Bar
- Start date: ASAP
- Probationary period: Three months
- Notice period: Four weeks during probation, three months following
- Working Hours: Your normal hours of work will be 39 hours per week over Monday to Friday. You are expected to offer reasonable flexibility in your working arrangements where it is considered necessary to undertake the duties you have been employed to perform and in the interests of the Theatre. There is no provision for payment of overtime
- Overtime: Is not payable but 6th day working and excessive additional hours will attract TOIL (time off in lieu) if agreed in advance with the Line Manager
- Pension: Auto-enrolment, with Belgrade currently making 3% employer contributions which will rise in line with legal requirements. The Theatre’s appointed pension provider is NEST. Further details are available
- Holidays: 25 days a year plus 8 Bank Holidays, increasing by a day per year to a maximum 30 days plus 8 Bank Holidays

We’re now looking for an experienced leader to step into a senior interim role, providing stability, leadership and momentum across our engagement activity during a period of transition.
This role will lead all of our mass fundraising and engagement activity, including Individual Giving, Legacies, Community & Events Fundraising, and Supporter Care. It is a senior, influential role shaping how supporters experience Mencap, how we grow income sustainably, and how we build long-term relationships rooted in trust and shared values.
As part of the interim remit, the role will also provide operational oversight and support to our High Value Relationships team, working closely with the interim Executive Director of Fundraising and other colleagues to ensure continuity, strong performance management and clear oversight of income and KPIs during this period.

You’ll know how to turn insight into action, how to use data intelligently (without losing the human touch), and how to lead teams through change with confidence and care. You’ll be comfortable holding performance, using financial and KPI information to support delivery and decision-making.

Strategic communications leadership
· Acting as the brand guardian, oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of high-quality strategic communications, branding and media strategies aligned with WeProtect Global Alliance’s organisational objectives.
· Embed a global communications lens across the Alliance’s work, proactively identifying opportunities to amplify impact and reach priority audiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership on quality improvement, compliance and continuous improvement across supported housing, estates and services

About You
You will be a credible, values‑led leader with a strong background in regulated services and a passion for quality and safeguarding.
Essential experience and qualifications include:
- Senior leadership experience within supported housing, homelessness or a closely related regulated sector
- Proven success leading multi‑site services and senior operational leaders
- Strong track record in quality improvement, safeguarding, compliance and inspection readiness
- Sound financial and commercial awareness, including managing significant budgets and resources
- Lean Six Sigma qualification
- Level 5 Safeguarding qualification
- Health & Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent)

We are looking for someone who has:
- Qualified to degree level in a relevant field to risk management and compliance.
- Post-graduate and/or professional qualification in a relevant field, including accounting, law, audit, or risk
- Extensive experience of working in a risk management/compliance/assurance function within a sizeable organisation, with strategic and operational accountability.
- Experience of managing and maintaining a risk case management system to ensure appropriate management of issues.
- Experience in developing and managing programme oversight and governance mechanisms that drive consistent approaches and strong performance.
- Experience of rolling out dedicated risk management and compliance training and supporting and guiding staff in developing risk registers and appropriate mitigating actions for risks.
- Experience of contract review and drafting of new clauses for contracts

What the job involves
As the Project Manager, you’ll lead an innovative pilot designed to tackle late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men. Day to day, you’ll shape and deliver a regional model that breaks down systemic barriers to early diagnosis - from coordinating the unification of efforts to address drivers of inequity in prostate cancer to establishing a new bridging fund to support cross-sector partnerships. You’ll work closely with community organisations, Primary Care Networks and NHS stakeholders, bringing people together to build trust and drive practical, measurable improvements.
What we want from you
You’ll be someone who cares deeply about health equity and is motivated by making real change happen for Black men in prostate cancer. We’re looking for someone who has experience designing or delivering community‑based health projects and feels confident working across sectors to build strong, equitable partnerships. You’ll bring strategic thinking, the ability to turn insight into action, and the communication skills to engage, influence and inspire. You’ll be comfortable managing timelines, budgets and reporting impact, and you’ll bring a strong understanding of public health, health equity or programme management. Purpose of the post
The Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role within HDR UK, as the key point of contact and financial support for the Institute Office teams. The Finance Business Partner supports key non- finance stakeholders to provide timely and insightful analysis and reporting and supports with the alignment of financial plans to operational and strategic priorities. The role will support the Institute Office as well as some of our separately funded programmes. The Finance Business Partner is responsible for the management of the Institute’s support costs and recharges, and therefore plays a pivotal role in the long-term financial sustainability of HDR UK. The role is responsible for maintaining clear and effective communication between the Finance team and the wider business and for ensuring that financial concepts and priorities are understood by the Institute Office and programme teams.
Main responsibilities

Work with Budget Holders to manage financial performance, forecasts, and budgeting including understanding financial opportunities and risk for the area of business partnership.

Lead on monthly reporting to the Institute Office and Programme teams, including posting month end journals, meeting with Budget Holders to discuss performance and budget variance and providing commentary and analysis on reports.

Provide donor reporting and analysis as required to funders of specific programmes.

Work with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to plan, deliver, and review the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

Support the Associate Director of Finance and Head of FP&A to continuously review and update the 5-year financial plan.

Support with projects and new process development to continuously improve and evolve our approach to internal financial reporting and modern finance business partnering.

About you
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual, who is capable of creating and delivering a strategic approach to commercial partnership development. The role requires an inspiring, solutions-focused and forward-thinking individual, with a proven track record in commercial development. Candidates should have an understanding of the relationship between charities and the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical companies, and be able to show relevant experience of taking a strategic approach to creating and further developing a commercial development proposition, within either the voluntary or private sectors.
A self-starter, happy working independently, and as part of a team, we are looking for a strategic thinker with well-developed business/commercial skills and the ability to translate strategy into action. The successful candidate will be an accomplished communicator, who is able to create new and build existing relationships, and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. As well as creating strategy, you will need to be comfortable delivering all aspects of business development including initial prospecting, preparation, presentation, negotiating, handling objections, closing, and ongoing partnerships stewardship and development.
About the role
After extensive scoping work throughout 2025, we are launching an exciting project to create a step change in the way we deliver our organisational knowledge, clinical expertise and information to add commercial value to potential customers across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, diagnostic and pharmaceutical companies. This new role of Head of Commercial Development will own the creation, development and delivery of this work.
You will be responsible for leading the creation of a commercial proposition for Myeloma UK, which will deepen relationships with the healthcare industry, pharmaceutical industry and other associated sectors, to promote Myeloma UK’s knowledge and expertise for commercial return. The Fundraising Lead will both raise money to support the sustainability of NHS Charities Together and contribute to supporting NHS Charities to increase their income.
The role oversees the day to day operations of both our fundraising activity and our practical support to members.
Overall Objectives
- Lead the strategic development of a simplified individual giving programme focused on donor retention, stewardship, and legacy conversion.

NHS Charities Together Fundraising Strategy
- Oversee the shaping of and support the Stewardship Manager on the delivery of a simplified, effective individual giving programme aligned with NHS Charities Together’s strategic priorities, with a focus on the retention and upgrade of existing donors and avoiding competing with our members.
- Ensure individual donors are regularly engaged and asked for appropriate cash gifts through a light-touch programme.
- Ensure that legacy messaging is prominent in the donor engagement cycle, to inspire existing donors to consider long-term support, aligned with their gratitude to the NHS, with appropriate pathways offered.
- Oversee prompt, accurate, and heartfelt thanking processes for all donations.
- Manage the welcome journey for unsolicited donations, and oversee the cost-effective management of existing commitments for community or events-based activity to ensure a return
- Lead stewardship for donors giving up to £25,000.
- Oversee and support the Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager to manage the relationships with selected key corporate relationships, identifying opportunities for partnerships and liaising closely with NHS Charities Together colleagues to support the development of fundable propositions which benefit our sector and our own organisation.
Sector Fundraising Support
- Champion sector-wide change by equipping member charities with scalable, plug-and-play fundraising products and strategic guidance that enhances their income generation capacity through individual giving, working closely with the engagement team.
- Oversee the development of support the Products Manager on the rollout of replicable or white-label fundraising products, starting with the roll-out of a lottery and legacy product, and on the development of campaigns (e.g. focused on grateful patients).
- Oversee and drive the thinking on future fundraising products that will appeal to and benefit our diverse group of member charities.
- Work closely with the engagement team and other NHS Charites together staff to tailor activity in line with segmentation and engagement strategies.
- Build trusted relationships with member charities, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable and empathetic fundraising expert.

Role Purpose
Oversee a blended model of in-house direct labour teams and external supply chain partners, lead and empower your teams to successfully deliver effective building, mechanical, electrical and regulated compliance related works and services across the organisation's property portfolio to ensure our homes are safe and well maintained. Delivering against challenging KPI's, ensure continuous improvement and customer safety across gas, fire, water, electrical, lifts, M&E and asbestos.
Working with the Property Services Director and Assistant Directors to shape and implement the Property Compliance Delivery strategies to deliver effective building/property regulatory compliance in line with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements. Instrumental in leading change and embedding a positive, enthusiastic, and empowered culture that enables colleagues to deliver good performance and great customer service.

Key Accountabilities
- Shape and contribute to the organisation's long-term compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with national housing policy and emerging legislation.
