About the role
The Refugee Council is seeking to recruit a 7 hours weekly face-to-face Adult Psychological Therapist to work with resettled refugees in Sheffield. This is a fixed-term post until March 2027.
Sheffield Therapeutic Services for Resettled Refugees (STSRR) is based within the Refugee Council's Resettlement Team in South Yorkshire. The Resettlement Team provides advice and support for Resettled Refugees to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links.
The Therapeutic Team in Sheffield provides one-to-one Psychological Therapy and Group therapy to resettled refugees presenting with mental distress. We have adopted a psychosocial perspective and use a specially tailored care model to address the needs of our clients.
We are seeking an experienced Psychological Therapist to work within this team for one day per week. The post-holder will be based within our Sheffield office, and all therapeutic work is face-to-face working alongside our Therapeutic Interpreting team.

The Organisation
The Royal Parks Limited is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role
As a Legal Advisor, you will provide legal support on a wide range of property-related matters across The Royal Parks estate. We have a number of residential and commercial properties that are under licence to third-parties, many of whom in the commercial forum are charities and entities that support The Royal Parks’ objectives, as well as licences for sports grounds, car parks and other properties on Crown land.
Working closely with our Principal Legal Advisor Estates and the Estates and Parks Teams, you will ensure our properties are managed in line with our charitable obligations.
On a day-to-day basis, your work will span the creation, review and negotiation of licences for commercial and residential properties, whilst assisting the Estates and Parks Teams in the management of the estate from a legal perspective.
Your licensing work will also involve works licences within the Parks and in relation to adjoining land where in order to carry out the works access to the Parks is required with resultant retention licences for example, where utility pipes ducts and cables are retained or encroachment licences where there are encroachments from adjoining properties, on under or over the Parks. You will also deal with freebord licences for garden use in connection with adjoining land.
Additionally, you will:
- Interpret legislation and policy, offering clear legal guidance
- Manage external counsel to ensure knowledge is retained internally
- Draft and review legal documents to complete transactions
- Ensure necessary consents, filings and registrations are completed
About You
To be considered as a Legal Advisor, you will need:
- To be a qualified lawyer
- Experience specialising in commercial property transactional work, including freehold and leasehold conveyancing
- The ability to build strong relationships with legal and non-legal professionals
- The ability to manage legal aspects of multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Evidence of continual professional development
- A degree in law (LLB or equivalent) and a valid practising certificate

About the role:
This role is based at Accrington. Once your probation period is completed you will be eligible to apply for hybrid working. All travel costs to and from appointments from your office base will be reimbursed.
As a Domestic Abuse Caseworker, you will be:
- Focusing on victims of domestic abuse and will provide a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service, through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support
- This will include supporting victims either face to face or over the telephone to assist them in accessing services to keep them and their family safe. It will involve developing individual safety plans to meet client's needs as identified in the needs and risk assessment.
- You will provide advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to victims including
- exploration of legal and civil options, housing, health and finance and support clients through the criminal justice system.
- You will participate fully in multi-agency meetings by being the voice of the client and follow up actions agreed in meetings keeping the client's safety at the forefront of proceedings.
You will need to:
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand Safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues
- Have theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge of civil and criminal justice remedies for victims of domestic abuse and their children

About the role:
This role is based in London with Hybrid working.
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+

Our programmes are delivered in various settings across the borough including care homes, sheltered housing and community venues together with our own Brigstock Road Community Hall.
The Healthier Lifestyle team at Age UK Croydon offers a range of inclusive and accessible activities and events across the borough of Croydon combining exercise and social engagement in a variety of local settings. These sessions help reduce isolation, improve independence, prevent falls, increase fitness levels and manage health conditions. They also provide social engagement and interaction, information and support around living with dementia, a safe and welcoming space for all to engage and relax.
Duties will include (but are not limited to) –
- Independently delivering chair-based exercise sessions daily in Croydon care homes to residents.
- As an Age UK Croydon ambassador promote our services including via talks and presentations to community groups across the Borough.

About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.
We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales. Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.
What we are looking for
- Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
- L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent (desirable)
- The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching

Ynghylch Ymddiriedolaeth St Giles
Elusen uchelgeisiol, wedi’i hen sefydlu sy’n helpu pobl sy’n wynebu helbulon i ddod o hyd i swyddi, cartrefi a’r gefnogaeth gywir y mae ei hangen arnynt yw Ymddiriedolaeth St Giles. Yn ganolog i’n hethos yw ein cred bod pobl sydd â phrofiad uniongyrchol o oresgyn problemau, megis cefndir troseddol, digartrefedd, dibyniaeth ar gyffuriau ac alcohol neu fod yn aelod o gang, yn allweddol i sicrhau newid positif mewn eraill.
Mae St Giles bellach yn gyflogwr Kickstart, felly rydym yn rhan o'r cynllun hwn sy'n darparu cyfleoedd gwaith i bobl ifanc 16-24 oed sydd ar Gredyd Cynhwysol ar hyn o bryd ac sydd mewn perygl o ddiweithdra hirdymor.

Daeth St Giles a The Wise Group at ei gilydd i ffurfio partneriaeth gyda'r nod o gefnogi'r diwygiadau Ailsefydlu Prawf drwy gynnig gwasanaeth o ansawdd uchel wedi'i ategu gan staff sydd â phrofiad byw a chymhwysedd diwylliannol. O ganlyniad, dyfarnwyd cytundebau i ni i ddarparu Gwasanaethau Lles Personol ar gyfer Gogledd a De Cymru. Bydd y gwasanaethau hyn yn cynnwys amrywiaeth o gymorth i droseddwyr cymunedol a'r rhai sy'n gadael carchardai gan gynnwys teuluoedd, lles emosiynol, ffordd o fyw a chysylltiadau cyswllt a chynhwysiant cymdeithasol (gan gynnwys cwrdd wrth y gatiau).
Ynghylch y cyfle cyffrous hwn
Gan weithio fel rhan o dîm aml-asiantaeth, byddwch yn darparu cymorth sydd wedi’i ganolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn i lwyth achosion o ddefnyddwyr gwasanaeth a fydd naill ai'n cyflawni dedfrydau cymunedol neu'n cael eu rhyddhau o'r carchar. Byddwch yn ymgymryd â chynllunio asesu a gweithredu gyda defnyddwyr gwasanaethau unigol, yn creu amgylchedd diogel ac ymddiriedus, gan ddefnyddio ymarfer trawma-gwybodus i hwyluso perthynas gefnogol ac adeiladol gyda defnyddwyr gwasanaeth, ynghyd â darparu ystod o ymyriadau i ddefnyddwyr gwasanaethau sy'n cyfrannu tuag at gyflawni canlyniadau rhagnodedig.
Byddwch hefyd yn datblygu a chynnal perthnasoedd gweithio cadarnhaol gydag asiantaethau allanol, gan gynnwys y gwasanaeth prawf, carchardai, partneriaid, ac eraill a fydd yn cynorthwyo i sicrhau canlyniadau rhagnodedig i ddefnyddwyr gwasanaethau, gan sicrhau eich bod yn gweithio tuag at dargedau a chanlyniadau cytundebol o fewn amserlenni y cytunwyd arnynt. Mae defnyddio cronfeydd data CRM y cytunwyd arnynt a chofnodi'r holl weithgaredd sy'n ymwneud â llwyth gwaith a darparu diweddariadau ac adroddiadau hefyd yn ddyletswyddau allweddol.

- Y gallu i asesu anghenion cleientiaid a darparu cymorth wedi'i deilwra a arweinir gan gleientiaid drwy gynllunio gweithredu ac ymyriadau sy'n cynnwys cyngor, arweiniad, eiriolaeth a hyfforddi
- Y gallu i weithio mewn dull sensitif gyda chleientiaid gan ddefnyddio strategaethau sail-trawma
- Sgiliau TG, meithrin-perthynas a chyfathrebu nodedig, ar lafar ac yn ysgrifenedig

Yn gyfnewid am hyn, gallwch ddisgwyl cyflog cystadleuol, lwfans gwyliau hael, pensiwn staff, gweithio hyblyg, rhaglen fentora, gwasanaeth cynghori a chwnsela, talebau gofal plant, benthyciad tocyn tymor a llawer mwy.
