For over 30 years, RASASC has provided specialist, trauma-informed support to survivors of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse across Cheshire and Merseyside.
As Managing Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, working closely with our Board of Trustees, staff team, funders, commissioners and partners to ensure RASASC continues to deliver high-quality, survivor-centred services while building a sustainable future.

We are looking for an experienced senior leader who can demonstrate:
- Strategic leadership experience within the charity, public, voluntary or social purpose sector
- A strong track record of managing budgets, resources and organisational performance
- Experience working with Boards, Trustees or Non-Executive Directors
- Success in securing funding through grants, contracts, tenders or partnerships
- The ability to lead people, manage change and build effective relationships
- A commitment to equality, inclusion, safeguarding and survivor-centred practice

Interim Chief Executive – Twins Trust
6-month contract | 28–37 hours per week (flexible)
Twins Trust is the leading UK charity supporting families with twins, triplets and more. Following the successful launch of a new brand, website and membership proposition, we are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Executive to provide confident leadership during an important period of transition and organisational development.
Hours: 28–37 hours per week (flexible )
Salary: c.£80,000–£85,000 FTE
Location: Predominantly remote, with travel to London and occasional UK travel as required
Contract: 6 months
Start date: Late July 2026
This is an exciting opportunity to build on strong organisational foundations, leading a talented senior team while helping the charity maximise recent investment in its brand, digital presence and membership offer. Success will be measured through strengthening leadership, empowering teams, increasing engagement and income opportunities, and further raising Twins Trust's profile with partners and stakeholders across the sector.
We're looking for someone with:

Successful experience as a Chief Executive or senior organisational leader

The role
We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the next phase of our strategic plan driving growth in income, strengthening the organisational capability, and positioning the UK as a leading philanthropic engine within the global organisation.
The CEO will provide overall leadership of Rainforest Trust UK, with a primary focus on fundraising, external engagement, and partnering.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring both strategic clarity and operational execution. The CEO will lead a small team, work closely with the Board of Trustees, while partnering with the global CEO and senior leadership based in the USA.
Key responsibilities
Strategy and organisational leadership
- Lead the delivery of the 2026–2030 strategy, aligning UK priorities with global objectives
- Translate strategy into clear plans, targets, and performance metrics
- Drive organisational focus on outcomes, impact, and growth
Fundraising and external leadership
- Act as a senior ambassador for the organisation in the UK and internationally
- Build Rainforest Trust UK’s visibility and influence within philanthropic networks
- Personally cultivate and manage a portfolio of high-value donor relationships
Financial Stewardship
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance including annual audit
- Ensure strong financial controls and effective use of resources
- Support the growth of sustainable income to maximise conservation impact
Governance and Board engagement
- Ensure compliance with UK charity regulation and best practice
- Provide clear, rigorous reporting on performance, risk, and finances
- Work in close partnership with the Board to support effective governance and decision-making
Global partnerships and collaboration
- Build strong, effective relationships with global Rainforest Trust leadership
- Align UK fundraising with global conservation priorities
- Act as a key interface between UK donors and global programmes
Leadership and culture
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing team
- Create a culture of accountability, clarity, and delivery
- Ensure effective organisational structure and use of resources
