The Role
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Digital Content & Communications Manager; a creative all-rounder who thrives on “doing,” not just talking strategy. You’ll have ownership of our digital content: crafting impactful videos, visuals, and copy for our social channels and websites, and creating engaging resources for marketing, learning and programme delivery. You’ll energise our digital platforms while continuously improving their effectiveness and reach.
This role is delivery-first: you’ll “own” the hands-on creation, scheduling, and optimisation of digital content. You’ll have input into what and when we share and will help shape digital plans, but the heart of the job is practical content production and sharing. Press and comms partnerships are supporting responsibilities, not the main focus.

Your Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Content Creation & Delivery (Primary)

• Design, produce, and post engaging multimedia assets (video, graphics, infographics, stories) for social media, and our websites.
• Amplify authentic stories, ideas, and perspectives from our beneficiaries to move and motivate audiences.

2. Social Media & Community Building

• Plan, schedule, post, and manage engagement on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X, as well as newsletters
• Grow and nurture audiences—especially among schools, judges, volunteers, educators, and young people.
• Monitor trends and adapt content for impact.

3. Learning & Programme Resource Design

• Work with colleagues to create compelling, accessible learning resources and marketing materials for schools, corporate partners, funders, and events.
• Design digital newsletters, reports, and campaign materials that support fundraising, stewardship, and participant development.

4. Marketing of Programmes

• Provide marketing support to the programmes team to help promote our programmes to schools and other charities primarily through developing marketing collateral and supporting outbound email campaigns

5. Website Management & Continuous Improvement

• Manage day-to-day website updates, keeping our sites fresh, welcoming, and easy to navigate.
• Seek out and implement small improvements that enhance user experience, accessibility, and recruitment effectiveness.

6. Press, Media & Profile

• Develop and deliver a practical approach to meeting regional press grant requirements (e.g. one piece per final); contribute occasional press releases if needed.

7. Support the Team’s broader objectives

• Help colleagues use digital tools, solve basic problems, and build digital skills through sharing, to improve our digital content
• Champion creative, inclusive, and accessible digital comms internally.
• Representing Speakers Trust at external events and networking opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• Strong track record in creating digital content, managing social media, and designing educational/promotional materials (charity, youth, or education sector experience a plus).
• Experience with website content management and the ability to identify and deliver incremental improvements.
• Skilled in video and design (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar) and software to support website and newsletter design.
• Clear, compelling written English for content, newsletters, and reports.
• Ability to grow and nurture digital communities—especially for school, volunteer, and judge recruitment.

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Coordinator to support our care teams in delivering a high-quality family support service in the region, working with families and professionals to ensure the families we support have access to the services they need.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager and working in partnership with health, education, and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for sourcing practical goods and services in the region, applying for grants and benefits, as well as working with other charities or community providers to obtain goods, equipment or funds for families that Rainbow Trust do not provide directly.

At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25.

Overall Job Purpose

As part of the Service Delivery Team, you will take operational responsibility for managing and developing the delivery of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) training programmes. You will ensure that corporate and charitable organisations are equipped with practical tools to build inclusive workplace cultures and create accessible career opportunities for young people with additional needs.

In this hands-on role, you will coordinate consultancy projects from start to finish - overseeing scheduling, delivery, marketing, and evaluation - to maintain high standards and meet income targets. Service Development

· Advance the organisation’s co-production target by working with the youth leadership group, and with other Service Delivery Managers.

Business Development

· Collaborate with the CEO, Executive Director of Services and Fundraising Team to identify marketing opportunities for AFK services supporting voluntary and community groups.

· Work closely with employers and Service Delivery colleagues to create meaningful opportunities for young people with additional needs to gain experience, develop skills, and pursue their aspirations.

· Proactively identify and apply for commissioned opportunities with London local authorities.

General

· Uphold AFK’s Safeguarding Policy and contribute to creating a safe environment for young people.

· Prepare and present regular progress reports to the CEO, Executive Director of Services, the Board of Trustees, and other relevant stakeholders.

About the role

The Refugee Council supports separated children across England and part of our service is a team of staff based at the port of Dover, working 24/7 to provide a temporary safeguarding service for children arriving there, ensuring that their basic needs are met while they await transfer to the care of a local authority. The unit is reactive to the needs of clients, who may arrive at any time, and staff are expected to cover a variety of shifts.

As a Support Worker, you will assess the basic needs of newly arrived clients and provide an appropriate service, including food, clothing, and access to hygiene facilities. The Service Manager will be responsible for the operations of one service in Berkshire (Slough) which supports one individual to live in his own home.

The individual is a sociable and engaging man with a warm sense of humour and a deep appreciation for nature, music, and familiar company. He lives with a diagnosis of moderate learning disability, autism spectrum disorder, psychotic illness, epilepsy, and type 2 diabetes, all of which require thoughtful and consistent support. The customer has been living successfully in his current placement for over ten years, where he benefits from the continuity of staff who know him well, understand his routines, and help him maintain a sense of safety and autonomy.

The role will provide line management for a team of seven Specialist Behaviour Support Workers, ensuring that compliance with organisational, legal regulations and those of the local authority are adhered to and the quality of support is of the highest standard possible, ensuring excellent quality of life for the customer and a good working environment for colleagues.

The service has received a CQC rating of Good. The current team size includes 5 FTEs (Specialist Behaviour Support Workers) plus 2 FTEs Waking Night Support Workers, ensuring comprehensive support coverage across all shifts.

The working pattern for this role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional requirements for weekend and out-of-hours work to meet service needs.

The Role 

We are looking for an experienced Social Workers to join our London & South East Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.

This role is part home, part site-based. Your contractual base will be both Home and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

About You

You will be committed to delivering high quality social work support to promote the best outcomes for the children, young people and families we work with. You will need to be resourceful and resilient. You will have a positive attitude and be willing to embrace difference. As part of the wider Young Lives vs Cancer team you will actively engage with the work of the charity and welcome opportunities to get involved.

You will have:

• A recognised Social Worker qualification and current registration with Social Work England/ Scottish Social Services Council/Social Care Wales/Northern Ireland Social Care Council
• Experience working with children, young people and their families/carers in a social care setting.
• Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment, ideally in an NHS setting.
• Sound knowledge of child and young people development.
• An understanding of the impact of serious illness for children, young people and their families.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

About the Role

Are you enthusiastic about empowering families and ensuring access to the right support? We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Parent Carer Adviser to support families of children and young people with disabilities in the Earls Court area

In this role you will:

• Provide 1-to-1 advice and advocacy and group sessions in community setting
• Deliver information sessions or workshops to help families navigate support services.
• Offer tailored signposting to local, educational, health and social care resources.
• Develop strong relationships with professionals at all levels and advocate effectively when challenges arise

You will work from home and run regular sessions in the Earls Court area, collaborating with families and community partners to reduce isolation, promote access to entitlements, and support informed decision-making.

We are Looking for someone who:

• Has experience providing advice or advocacy to individuals in a community or voluntary sector setting.
• Has a knowledge and understanding of at least two of the following areas:
  • Adult/children social care
  • Special Education Needs and the Children and Families Act
  • Health (including mental health services, Continuing Health Care)
  • Housing
  • Youth services
• Understands the challenges faced by families of children with disabilities/ SEND.
• Can build trust with diverse communities and communicate clearly and empathetically.
• Is confident delivering group sessions or workshops
• Can maintain accurate case records and work with safeguarding procedures.

This entry-level role is open to 18-25-year-old young women* who have been affected by criminal exploitation and violence. The successful candidate will be based from home, with a requirement to travel to partner schools and partner sites in and around Lincolnshire. Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.
