The Youth and Employability Department
Over the past five years, Brentford FC CST has significantly expanded its Youth and Employability provision. The department provides a diverse range of informal and formal learning opportunities designed to help young people develop essential life skills, engage with their local communities and prepare for the world of work. Our programmes support their transition to adulthood, by equipping them with the confidence, experience and networks they need to thrive.

Main Purpose of Job
The Programme Coordinator – Careers, Events and Pathways is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of large scale employability events and progression initiatives for young people. These include careers fairs, widening and participation events and employer engagement activities designed to open access to real world opportunities. This role will lead events from planning and partner liaison to on-the-ground delivery and post-evaluation reporting.
The coordinator will work with employers, schools, colleges, and local authorities to co-create meaningful pathways for young people, ensuring activities are aligned with labour market needs and tailored to the aspirations of young people we are working with.
The coordinator will take a lead on developing and managing strategic partnerships with employers and external organisations to broker new opportunities and promote progression routes into education, employment or training.
Grounded in youth work values, the coordinator will offer mentoring, support, and guidance to help young people navigate their next steps, overcome barriers, and access the right pathway for their goals.
Responsibilities
Event Planning and programme delivery
- Design, plan and deliver high quality and innovative events and activities for the youth and employability programme offer. Lead on major events such as careers fairs, job fairs, employer panels, and large outreach opportunities, ensuring effective planning, logistics, and execution.
- Ensure all events and activities meet the needs of participants, align with programme and partner objectives, and are delivered to agreed deadlines.
- Lead on event and programme logistics including planning, external bookings and venue hire, facilitators, transport, resources, risk assessment and other associated logistics.
- Provide tailored events and activities for young people from vulnerable, underrepresented and NEET Groups.
- Deliver presentations, sessions and other events (e.g. assemblies, PSHE lessons, lunch time stalls, workshops, job fair) to primary and secondary schools, non-mainstream schools, colleges, and other organisations to engage young people.
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including existing partners (e.g Worley, UK Youth), local professional organisations, schools and colleges, local authorities, and future key stakeholders as they come onboard.
- Work in partnership with stakeholders to co-design and deliver events, promote programme opportunities, recruit participants, and support youth progression.
- Seek out new opportunities in relation to employment and training to support young people progress on to positive pathways. Work with stakeholders to develop new initiatives and collaborative projects.
Youth Engagement and support
- Lead cohorts of young people through events and programmes. Supervise, take responsibility for the pastoral care, and ensure safety needs of the young people are always met.
- Engage and build positive relationships with young people to provide effective support, mentoring and coaching on a one-to-one and group basis where needed.
- Develop, implement, and lead on recruitment and engagement strategies to recruit and retain young people for events.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Record and monitor programme, partner and participant data using the relevant CRM systems ensuring all data is kept up to date.
- Ensure all administration tasks are completed accurately and within allocated time scales including handling personal data, managing expenses, safeguarding reporting, and risk assessments.
- Achieve weekly and monthly targets as set out by the Senior Manager, or partner organisation/ funder and regularly provide reports and monitoring information.
Leadership and Team Collaboration
- Lead and support casual staff to deliver high quality programmes, providing regular feedback and embedding reflective practice.
- Support the Senior Manager in recruitment, training, and supervision of casual delivery staff.
- Attend regular supervision sessions, team & organisation meetings, and complete compulsory training to enable all duties to be carried out effectively.
- Deputise for the Senior Manager when appropriate. Fulfil any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Senior Manager
- Work closely with the Senior Manager, Coordinators, Youth Workers, Coaches and programme partners to support the young people on the programmes ensuring a united approach.
Safeguarding and Compliance
- Understand and comply with all policies and procedures in line with Trust and contractual responsibilities including the safeguarding of the young people, GDPR, health and safety and EDI.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality, especially regarding individuals' personal details and concerns.
- Participate in training sessions related to safeguarding and emergency response.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, concerns, and actions taken.
- Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel.
The Selection Criteria
Essential
Qualifications and experience
- Graduate degree level and or/ IAG Level 2 / Event Management and/or strong relevant experience (youth work, educational, community based, events, careers).
- Demonstrable experience (at least 2 years) of working with young people and children to inspire, motivate and support them to positively engage in new opportunities and develop new skills.
- Experience of leading, planning and delivering high-quality events and programmes for large groups (50/100+).
- Experience and/or good knowledge of working in partnership with local businesses/ professional partners, schools, colleges, and universities, to develop employability and careers pathways initiatives.
- Experience of effectively engaging young people from a wide range of backgrounds, including underrepresented groups (women and girls, ethnic minorities) and/ or, vulnerable groups (e.g. homeless, young carer, etc), and/ or those facing barriers to education, employment, or training.
- A Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.
Skills, Knowledge, and ability
- An awareness of current socio-economic issues and trends which may affect young people and youth employment in the areas we work in.
- Ability to find new pathways and employer opportunities to support young people into the world of work
- Strong knowledge and experience of event management and logistics to deliver impactful events.
- A strong communicator - Ability to communicate and engage with young people/ children and their parents/guardians sensitively and confidently in both large groups and individual settings.
- Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders and the ability to communicate with people at different levels.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take the lead where necessary providing clear instructions for staff and volunteers to enable them to achieve desired outcomes and the required standards.
- A strong work ethic, excellent time management skills and motivated to work towards targets.
- Excellent planning, organisation and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment, creative, adaptable, and responsive to changing situations.
- IT literate with particular emphasis on Microsoft and CRM packages
- Knowledge of and a commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity and data protection in relation to working in the community and youth work environment.
- Willingness to regularly travel within the allocated work areas and occasionally residentially to fulfil programme outcomes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as this role will involve some weekend and evening commitments.

About the Role
The Content Creator will play a vital role in helping Urban Saints communicate with clarity, creativity, and consistency across all platforms. From video editing and creating social media graphics, to designing resources, brochures, or branded assets, this role is responsible for creating visually engaging content that amplifies our message and inspires action.
You'll be responsible for:
- Designing and producing compelling visual content across digital and print formats.
- Filming and editing videos for campaigns, training materials and resources.
- Managing and editing visual assets, including team-supplied images.
- Contributing ideas and visual concepts to support campaigns and storytelling.
- Acting as a brand guardian for visual content, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Working closely with other members of the Communications team to deliver content for campaigns, training, and wider initiatives.

SOS+ educates children and young people around the risks and signs of exploitation, serious violence and gangs, through group facilitated sessions and tailored one-to-one intervention sessions in schools and other community settings. It also takes an evidence-based approach which educates professionals and parents, as well as children and young people between the ages of 10-25 years.

About this key role
A key member of the St Giles Yorkshire team, as well as our Central SOS+ team, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering 1-2-1 educational sessions to children and young people on topics such as grooming, weapons awareness, the reality of prison, gangs, county lines and child sexual exploitation. You’ll also need to work closely with partner agencies and attend multi-agency meetings and support the design and development of new sessions and materials. All the while, you’ll be supported by a Peer Advisor with lived experience of adverse experiences linked to exploitation, county lines or prison.
What we are looking for
- Experience of engaging with challenging children and young people, e.g., those with complex needs, who are reluctant to discuss their needs or who are angry and confused
- A track record gained working with socially excluded children, young people and adults, including delivering/facilitating sessions to groups – especially socially excluded children and young people in schools or similar settings
- Knowledge of gangs, knife crime and patterns of offending in West Yorkshire or a similar area, plus a proven ability to negotiate and network with partner agencies to establish links to further the aims of a project
- An Education and Training and/or Mentoring Level 3 qualification, or similar, or a willingness to work towards this
- A flexible and collaborative approach, a positive attitude, emotional resilience, confidence when speaking in front of a group and a flair for planning sessions using a variety of resources

The Social Care IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process, specialising in working with women whose families are involved with Family Children Services and risk to children is a factor. You will work to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. This role is part advocacy, part training/education and project work to improve response to victim/survivors experiencing domestic abuse. You will be embedded in the local authority Family Children Services team, working with Social Care professionals to ensure they adopt a trauma informed approach, can recognise the dynamics of domestic abuse and are providing more holistic support. You will be the domestic abuse subject matter expert on site, upskilling fellow professionals and acting as a point of contact for any clients experiencing domestic abuse and support requirements from Family Children Services.

Role Summary
- The School Engagement Coordinator for Northern Ireland serves as a crucial liaison for the Into Film programme in the region. Are you a kind, patient, person and passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? We’re looking for a dedicated Care and Support Workers to join our close-knit team supporting children with epilepsy and complex medical and developmental needs.
As a Care Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in empowering individuals across both our Children’s Homes (ages 5–19). You’ll build strong, respectful relationships and provide high-quality, person-centred support that helps people grow in confidence, develop skills, and discover joy in everyday experiences.

- Support individuals in their personal care, wellbeing and day-to-day routines
- Encourage participation in daily life, education, community activities and fun experiences like swimming, shopping, baking, cinema trips and day outings
- Supporting children in school, play, and therapy activities, recording progress and achievements in line with care and safeguarding requirements.
- Work flexibly as part of a wider team including education staff, therapists, nurses and families
- Follow clear support plans and behaviour support strategies to promote safety and dignity at all times

Who are we?
St. John's is a non-maintained specialist provision, working with autistic people, the majority of whom also have learning disabilities. Some of our learners have co-occurring conditions such as epilepsy, hearing or visual impairments, or mental health needs. We also support autistic learners who have an additional profile of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) syndrome. We have a team built up of support workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, PBS practitioners, assistant psychologists, and more, to support us in our holistic approach to development.
Each learner's curriculum is shaped by their individual strengths, interests, and challenges. St. John's is awarded with Autism Accreditation by the National Autistic Society (NAS). We support our learners to develop their skills in the NAS's four focus areas of:

Founded in the aftermath of the Second World War, Cumberland Lodge works with young people to understand the causes and impacts of social conflict and division, developing the next generation of leaders to create more just and inclusive futures. Our current programme focuses on four key areas: Youth & Democracy; Rule of Law; Freedom of Religion and Belief; and Intergenerational Dialogue in the Workplace.
We are seeking a Programme Officer to help develop and deliver our programme of activities. The successful candidate will join a thriving organisation as part of a small Programme team under the leadership of the Programme Director. The Programme Officer will play a key role in developing and managing our work underpinned by the twin objectives of nurturing young people as ethical leaders and creating programmes that empower others, through dialogue and debate, to tackle the causes and impacts of social division.
Job description
We are seeking to appoint a team player with a background in education or programme delivery, who is well-organised and an efficient administrator, with excellent inter-personal skills. They must be intellectually curious with strong research abilities, and are confident and articulate communicators. Alignment with our ethos of seeking to address social division through constructive dialogue is essential.
This role will be responsible for managing the delivery of our cohort programmes including currently: Youth & Democracy, Rule of Law, and Gen Z and the City. There is scope for the development of new programme areas, including working with the arts and our public history project, as we respond to contemporary challenges.

Working closely with: Programme Director, Programme Officer, Communications & Engagement team, Chief Executive, Front of House team
Job Description:
· Work with the Programme team, to design and deliver educational resources, workshops and conferences including our Youth & Democracy, Rule of Law, and intergenerational change programme areas;
· Deliver Exploring Ethics and other Cumberland Lodge workshops as requested;
· Identify potential partners and collaborate with stakeholders related to programme activity;
· Produce funding proposals;
· Produce and/or editing briefing papers and reports when required;
· Produce digital content for online learning and engage regularly with the community engagement platform, including identifying topics, producing webinars and podcasts;
· Act as Duty Officer for 8 weekends (involving, if required, giving welcome talks, leading Exploring Ethics Sessions, and escorting groups to the Royal Chapel). Accommodation is provided on these weekends.
· Attend departmental, staff, and ad hoc planning meetings
· Work with the Communications team to produce website and social media content relating to the Programme.
· Carry out history tours and welcome talks for external guests.
· Carry out other tasks as may be reasonably required to facilitate Cumberland Lodge’s work.

· Act at all times as an ambassador for Cumberland Lodge.
· In common with all Lodge staff, to work flexibly and to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required to facilitate the smooth running of the business.
Person specification
You’ll have:
Essential Criteria:
· Undergraduate degree in a relevant social science or humanities discipline;
· Experience working with young people and youth organisations;
· Experience of facilitating group discussion in a learning environment;
· Experience of project and event organisation and management, from inception to evaluation;
· Experience identifying and applying for funding;
· Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, for a range of audiences;
· Ability to build and maintain networks across a range of sectors;
· Ethos of collaboration and team work;
· Experience using a range of IT packages and platforms.
The successful candidate will have a graduate qualification as a minimum requirement, in a relevant social science or humanities discipline, as the role will involve developing programmes with academic content. Working with young people, and experience designing and delivering teaching and/or training material, in formal and/or non-formal education settings, is also an essential criteria.
Desirable Criteria:
· Postgraduate degree in a relevant social science or humanities discipline;
· Conducting research into programme content;
· Design and delivery of online educational material (e.g. podcasting, Arc GIS Storymaps, animations etc).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Based at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park. (Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport).
Hybrid working available, with a minimum 3 days a week in the office.
The role requires flexible working. There will be some weekend and evening duties, including programme events, facilitating workshops for visiting groups, talks and tours of the Lodge (shared on a rota basis). Accommodation will be provided on site when evening work is required.
