Job description

Could you be our next North West Programme Manager?

Snow Camp turns young lives around with the power of snowsports. Are you ready to combine your passion for snowsports with life changing youth work?

Snow Camp is searching for a North West Programme Manager to lead our innovative youth snowsports programmes based at Chill Factore in Manchester.

THE ROLE

Reporting to our Programme Director, you'll be the driving force behind our snowsports and life-skills programmes across the North West region. You'll be:

  • Planning and delivering programmes that blend snowsports with essential life skills, qualifications, mental health support, apprenticeships and pathways to employment in the snowsports industry and beyond.
  • Working directly with unserved young people – those who face the biggest barriers.
  • Leading a passionate team of apprentices, youth volunteers and staff.
  • Building partnerships with youth projects and community organisations to reach even more young people across the region.
  • Developing innovative approaches that put Snow Camp at the forefront of youth development.

WHAT MAKES YOU PERFECT FOR THIS?

You're someone who:

  • Has solid, hands on experience delivering youth programmes and knows what it takes to engage and inspire young people.
  • Understands the unique challenges facing unserved communities and has successfully worked in these environments.
  • Passionate about snowsports.
  • Believes in the potential of every young person.
  • Has the project management and budgetting skills to manage all elements of the North West Programme.
