Job description

The Prince’s Trust is seeking a dynamic leader to drive continued growth, innovation and impact across Philanthropic fundraising. A Director of Philanthropy with confidence in driving a high-performing team, raising upwards of £20m a year- with a flair for exceptional relationship building, and a passion for a cause that has the potential to unlock the next generation of futures.

You will nurture and support a team across the breadth of the UK- each managing a diverse portfolio of major donor relationships. You will inspire team members and senior influencers alike with an exciting strategy built upon sector-leading stewardship, innovative cultivation and sharp attention to impact. You will provide support to a sophisticated team managing a host of successful collective giving groups, regional and capital campaigns and be a leading strategist in the design and execution of a newly emerging philanthropic campaign, poised to raise £100m over the next 5 years.

Philanthropy has long played a key role in the income mix of The Trust- raising almost a third of its annual operating income. You will bring solid experience in financial reporting and diligence around meeting ambitious targets- weighting risk and opportunity appropriately. You will be a key member of our super supportive Senior Fundraising and Marketing Team- the engine room of the department!

An authentic leader energised by innovation and keen to adapt our offering according to external insight, adopting a ‘can do’ attitude when faced with bumpy terrain- inevitable in any professional context! Philanthropy has strong roots in the previous and upcoming success of The Trust and we warmly welcome you to apply if you have the energy, passion and determination to take PT funding to the next level- ensuring we continue to be there for the very deserving young people we serve across the UK.

We are currently receiving high volumes of applications, so we urge you to complete a supporting statement that showcases your experience in line with the job description, otherwise, your application could be unsuccessful.
