We are working to open new choices and forms of support for our members around their future retirement plans, with housing and financial service industry partners. This includes bringing new tailored products to life on home ownership, financial advice, coaching and financial wellbeing, harnessing the expertise of those partners. We are now looking for a skilled Product and Partnerships Manager, to manage setting up these new future partnerships for success

Working as part of an Implementation team, this role will manage the design and stand up of innovative new partnerships to support our customers with their retirement plans This will involve working with proposed partners to finalise the 'nuts and bolts' of how new products and referral paths will work in practice, with a focus on housing and financial services partnership areas. It will also involve setting up commercial arrangements that offer value for money and prioritise a seamless customer experience. Using your expertise, you will also support our teams to make the most of and broaden existing partnerships.

Working as part of one of our programme teams, and with NCI finance, audit & risk and procurement teams:

• Quickly understand the existing partnership landscape - assessing where we need to formalise fledgling partnerships to bring new products and choices to our members, and where we need to conduct more due diligence or cultivate new opportunities.
• Build a good rapport with prospective partners, setting out a clear plan for getting from detailed design to a workable product and customer journey as quickly as possible.
• Working with partners to ensure excellent customer experience for our members, with seamless integration into other services and support offered by the Church.
• Run procurement and commercial negotiation processes to formally establish essential partnerships- likely to be a mix of invitation to tender style processes, and more innovative investment partnerships.
• Work collaboratively with internal colleagues to establish robust back-office processes to govern flow of money and data between partners and the Church, including defining and implementing feedback/reporting processes.
• Set the foundations of good partnership/supplier management, including a strong focus on quality assurance.
• Provide expertise to our team on navigating regulated markets e.g. knowing what type of questions to ask and when to seek specialist advice.
• Work with communications colleagues, to ensure that new choices supported by partners are communicated appropriately mindful of regulatory lines and the intended audience.
• Coach and support colleagues who are setting up signposting/informal partnerships with a range of housing providers, as to how to establish those relationships and ensure their success.
• Design and implement the right horizon scanning mechanisms within the team to help colleagues keep abreast of relevant developments around in financial advice, housing and related markets.
• Monitor feedback on relationships and work with partners to evolve services.

• A salary of £59,248 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

Job Title: Commercial Operations Manager

Hours: 37.5 hour per week Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required for events.

We are at a pivotal point in our growth journey and are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to lead and grow our club revenue through the unique cultural interest in the Club. 

The Role

The Commercial Operations Manager plays a crucial role in driving financial sustainability by generating income and managing commercial activities through venue hire, event planning, merchandise sales and securing strategic long-term partnerships, enhancing existing revenue streams, and identifying new opportunities.

The position will ensure the charity maximises its commercial potential while staying true to its mission and values.

About you

We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years' experience in an income generation role, including venue hire and event management, ideally in a charity setting. 

You will be organised and planful in your work with the ability to project manage activities with strong budget management skills.  You’ll have the ability to communicate well and work with a variety of individuals and will be able to negotiate and influence well.  You need to be comfortable working independently and able to manage multiple different projects at pace.

The Role

Yorkshire Cancer Research currently operates 15 shops across Yorkshire and are embarking on a retail expansion programme, with plans in place to open a further 20 shops across Yorkshire over the next three years. This is a role which forms part of the retail expansion plan. Reporting to the Head of Retail, the Retail Area Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of existing shops, and for the new shops as they open.

The Retail Area Manager will lead by example and ensure that employees, volunteers, supporters, donors, and customers understand how their contributions are making a difference to the lives of people in Yorkshire and beyond.
 

Specifically, you will:

· Provide day to day line management responsibilities for Shop Managers and Retail Support Managers, including coaching, inspiring and motivating team members so they are clear about their role and feel fully supported in driving the charity forward.

· Work closely with Shop Managers and Retail Support Managers with regards to rota management and provide support where necessary to ensure each shop is sufficiently staffed.

· Be accountable for an area budget and achieve or exceed budgeted income, expenditure, and contribution (net income).

· Ensure that all charity policies, shop standards and operating procedures are communicated effectively to all Shop Managers and effectively cascaded to volunteers. Regularly review that they are all maintained and followed in a consistent manner.

· Ensure our shops are presented to the highest standards with attractive visual merchandising and window displays and coach the Shop Managers to continually improve visual merchandising standards and share best practice.

· Lead, coach and develop the Shop Managers and Retail Support Managers, role modelling the internal PDR approach and wellbeing focus.

· Act as the “go to” lead for the Shop Managers on a day-to-day basis to help resolve operational issues, referring to Head of Retail for support with more complex issues.

· Act as an ambassador of the charity’s values, challenging misaligned behaviours and ensuring the values are integrated into all aspects of management.

· Create a welcoming professional atmosphere and deliver high standards of service for all employees, volunteers, customers and supporters.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· To be educated to A-Level or equivalent.

· To be trained as a First Aider, Fire Marshal and a Mental Health First Aider where appropriate.

· To have experience of multi-site retail management in a charity or commercial retail organisation

· To have experience of building and leading a team of employees and volunteers including recruitment and development.

· To have experience of meeting and exceeding targets within a retail environment.

· To have experience of setting, monitoring, and reporting of sales and cost budgets.

· To have experience of using own initiative and taking accountability for all aspects of day-to-day retail operational management.

· To be highly organised with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise a workload to meet deadlines.

· To have the ability to lead teams of employees and volunteers, providing support, motivation, and encouragement.

· To have excellent IT skills and confident using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

· To have the ability and willingness to frequently travel across the Yorkshire region, access to own vehicle, and a full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points

Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.

OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A resourceful and energetic Regional Manager is needed to recruit, select, equip, and lead teams of volunteers throughout the 32 London boroughs.

You will be passionate about developing others towards highly effective ministry, teamwork and increased personal competency.

You will also directly engage churches to participate in OCC in areas not yet covered by Connect volunteers. A special opportunity will be engaging London churches that have partnered with our sister ministry, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for the June 2025 God Loves You Tour London.

You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and also have good administrative and organisational skills. You will also enjoy envisioning the numerous volunteers who participate in the OCC shoebox appeal each year.

You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse and be committed to the value of well-equipped volunteers and to developing them further. This role is based in region, and so prospective candidates should currently live in the region and provide their own transport for which defined expenses will be paid.

The Partnerships Fundraiser will be part of a dynamic team who are passionate about supporting our corporate partners, demonstrating the contribution they make to our critical service through their donations of time and money. As well as working alongside the fundraising and communications team the successful candidate will be working with the SCAA pilots and paramedics.

This role will be based either in Perth, at Scone Airport, or at our Aberdeen base, at Aberdeen Airport, where our SCAA emergency response helicopters and crew are located. SCAA supports flexible working patterns and hybrid working. It should also be noted that this role will require the successful candidate to occasionally work at weekends and during the evenings.

About You

• Experience working in a similar role managing partnerships between businesses and/or charities either within the commercial or charity sector.
• Experience of working with relevant CRM databases.
• Interpersonal and communication skills who can establish meaningful connections with our partners.
• Ability to build successful relationships with a range of stakeholders including donors, volunteers, ambassadors, board members and other senior stakeholders.
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellence and to implementing and driving continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to work within a team, adopting a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, whilst also able to work independently, being pro-active and self-sufficient.
• Knowledge of appropriate fundraising regulations.

About the role

The manager is instrumental in facilitating and delivering life changing, positive on the water experiences for young people. As an expert practitioner, they will provide leadership, development and mentoring to their team of instructors. The post will require strong organisational skills.

The Manager is an employee of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets based at our Crosby Boat Station. The post holder is required to hold and maintain the following qualifications as a condition of employment: RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor and RYA Powerboat Instructor.

The primary purpose of the role is to manage a water-sports training facility in the Liverpool area for all Sea Cadet Units and other affiliates to the Boat Station.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day running of the Boat Station.
• Ensure that all visiting groups and their staff are fully briefed on the Boat Station’s policies and procedures and that there is adequate supervision of Cadets and young people at the facility, so as to discharge their duty of care for them.
• Oversee the Chief Instructor and all other sessional Instructors using the Boat Station.
• Manage the Boat Station’s accounts in liaison with the Regional Finance Manager including day to day fees.
• Ensure that best practise in accordance with the NGB guidelines and requirements following our Inshore Boating Operating Standard.
