Summary of the role:
The Country Director will provide dynamic leadership and management to develop and deliver Muslim Aid ‘s strategy in Sudan, with a focus on leading and building a high-performing, diverse team and developing strong relationships with external stakeholders that are critical to the organisation’s growth and reputation in the country.
About the Role:
- Ensure the country office’s programme strategy is responding to the country’s critical development and humanitarian needs, and is also aligned to organisation’s global strategy, mission and values.
- Enhance Muslim Aid’s reputation and brand through maintaining positive relationships other stakeholders, including government, donors, UN bodies, other INGOs, and local NGOs.
- Identify areas for capacity building with partners such as, organisational management, gender mainstreaming, human resource management, financial management, governance, etc.
- Line manage the country team and the work in the country which will include staff, budgets, funding (both institutional and local) and ensure programme delivery in accordance with Muslim Aid policies and procedures.
- Proactively seek new opportunities for funding of projects through in-country and external relationship building with stakeholders including the bilateral and multilateral development partners and the submission of self-sustainable programme initiatives.
- Ensure that there is an adequate analysis of the risks which could impact on Muslim Aid’s operations in Sudan and to evaluate the risk appetite of the Sudan Country Office.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience working internationally in development and/or humanitarian sector.
- Experience in a project or programme management capacity
- Knowledge, experience and appreciation of the dynamics of local NGO’s and community based development practices.
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of programmes; use of quantitative and qualitative research data collection in support of programme development
- Experience of managing security, risk and legal compliance in the INGO sector.
- Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to build good relations both internally and externally.

About the role
The Research and Policy Officer will play an important role in supporting our work to tackle ageism, change attitudes to ageing and address the huge inequalities in our experience of older age.
Working alongside a friendly and skilled multi-disciplinary team, you’ll be supporting a range of projects to build the evidence base for change and to translate that research into action. You’ll also work closely with our external affairs team to stay abreast of the policy environment, provide timely evidence and insights to support our communication and influencing activity, and develop evidence-informed policy recommendations.

West London Mind deliver services across 5 West London Boroughs, and our children and young people’s team deliver services in communities and in schools. Focusing on increasing access and having inclusive services, our diversity of provision, staff and approaches means we can offer an assistant psychologist a range of experience, and fun.

Job Description. You will be:
1. Dealing with our referrals from schools:
· Liasing with referrers, families and young people to ensure that clients and other organisations are kept up to date with what stage their referral is at (e.g. on a waitlist).
· Overseeing inboxes to ensure quick and appropriate responses.
2. Delivering interventions:
· Delivery of Be Kind to Your Mind SEND/Inclusion interventions across schools, colleges and alternative education, and co-delivering our out of school offer.
· Ad-hoc creation of bespoke content to complement existing materials.
3. Supporting promotion of Children and Young People’s Services:
· Coordination of outreach on universal days/mental health specific days in line with West London Mind’s CYP Youth Services Calendar (across schools in Hammersmith and Fulham and within the local community).
· Co-facilitation of psychoeducational sessions.
· Working closely with the Whole Schools Approach Lead and Co-Production Coordinator to ensure that our offer is relevant and Young Person Centred.

4. Data, Evaluation and Impact Reporting:

5. Partnership Working and Communication:

Person Specification
We need you to have:
· An undergraduate Psychology degree (or equivalent) that confers British Psychological Society’s Graduate Basis for Chartered membership (GBC).
We’re looking for someone with:
· Knowledge and understanding of the key socioeconomic and systemic factors that contribute to poor mental health of children, young people and parents/carers from Black, Asian and other Minority groups.
· Understanding the importance of safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.
· Experience of conducting literature reviews, data collection and data analysis.
· Knowledge of mental health and/or social care services
· Experience of working with, and adapting delivery to, children and young people as well as young adults with SEND/Inclusion needs.

Location
This role is based at our Cirencester office, with opportunities for some home working. The post will involve some local travel across the South Cotswolds to meet supporters, partners, and community groups.
Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our small, friendly staff team, you will lead the development of fundraising from individuals, businesses, trusts and foundations, and community groups. You will identify new funding opportunities, craft compelling bids, and nurture long‑term partnerships that help sustain our annual running costs and strengthen our future resilience.
You will also take a leading role in shaping how we share our story. Working closely with the Head of Foodbank and colleagues, you will create marketing materials, digital and print content, fundraising campaigns, and communications that bring our mission and our clients’ experiences to life. This includes producing newsletters, fundraising appeals, social media content, and materials for events and outreach activities.
A central part of this role is inspiring and stewarding supporters, whether that’s someone making a one‑off donation, a local business exploring a partnership, or a trust considering a grant application. You’ll design ways to keep supporters engaged, informed and appreciated, ensuring communications reflect our values and priorities and are consistent with our brand and tone.
You will represent the Foodbank at community events across the region, building relationships with schools, churches, associations, local groups and businesses. This outward‑facing work helps raise awareness of the causes of food poverty, increases support, and strengthens our reach into communities who want to take action. You’ll also coordinate volunteers who contribute to these events.
Working closely with colleagues, you’ll help capture stories and case studies from people with lived experience of food poverty (with sensitivity and respect) to illustrate the realities facing local families and to strengthen our fundraising, communications, and advocacy work. You will maintain our CRM system, ensuring accurate donor and engagement data, and produce regular reports for monitoring and oversight.

Pride in Place is a national ten-year programme that places Neighbourhood Boards at the heart of local decision-making, with local authorities acting as the accountable body and communities expected to shape priorities and hold partners to account. In this model, Local Infrastructure Organisations (LIOs) like Salford CVS play an important enabling role - helping to connect local authorities with VCSE organisations, strengthening engagement, and ensuring a diverse range of community voices can participate fully.
As Programme Manager (Place), you will coordinate our work to support high-quality governance, inclusive engagement and strong local insight across both neighbourhoods.
A core part of your work will be ensuring that Pride in Place Neighbourhood Boards in Pendleton and Peel Green benefit from authentic, representative and evidence-driven community input. This includes leading the development of a community research programme, working in close partnership with VCSE organisations already active on the ground. PURPOSE OF THE POST
The Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and effective therapeutic services for individuals affected by sexual violence. This post provides clinical leadership and strategic oversight to the counselling and therapeutic team, ensuring that all practice is trauma-informed and aligned with the charity’s values and safeguarding responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic clinical leadership & service development
- Provide senior clinical leadership across counselling and therapeutic services, ensuring delivery of high-quality, ethical, trauma-informed practice.
