The Role
In this role, you’ll support stroke survivors and their families as they adjust to life after stroke. You’ll help identify their needs, provide personalised information, advice and support, and work with them to achieve the outcomes that matter most to them.
Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:
· Support stroke survivors and carers as they move from hospital discharge back into the community.

· Have a background in a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities.
· Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve joint ambitions.
· Have experience of working with people who may have additional communication support needs.
· Be proficient in using Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel and experience using IT systems to record and maintain beneficiary data.
This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

Context of role:
The Outreach Officer plays a key role in raising awareness of services, strengthening community
partnerships and supporting the delivery of high-quality bereavement support activities across the
region. The postholder will engage with local networks, coordinate events, and support volunteers while ensuring effective monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement.

About the Role
The Events Officer will work with the Events Manager to develop, plan and deliver the hospice's programme of events across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. You'll lead on the operational planning and delivery of these events, including creating detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, promotional plans and post‑event evaluations.
You will provide exceptional stewardship to event participants from the moment they sign up until after the event. Along with the Marketing and Communications Team, you'll ensure messaging across the event is consistent, inspiring and tailored. You will also provide on the day support, ensuring each event feels warm and welcoming to participants.

About the Role
We're looking for a qualified Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal team. Reporting to the Legal Lead, you'll provide practical legal advice across a broad range of matters, including contracts, governance, compliance, risk management, and organisational policies.
This is a hands-on role that combines legal expertise with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, many of whom are not legally qualified, helping them navigate legal issues and understand risk in a clear and accessible way.
As a relatively new function within HOST, the Legal team is continuing to develop its processes, systems, and ways of working. You'll play an important role in shaping these foundations, improving legal workflows, developing templates and guidance, and exploring how legal technology and AI tools can support efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Contracts and Legal Advice
Review, draft, negotiate and approve a wide range of contracts and agreements.
Maintain and improve legal templates and precedents.

Liaise with external legal advisors when specialist expertise is required.
Risk, Due Diligence and Compliance
Working alongside the Legal Lead, you will:
Assess higher-risk matters, including sanctions, safeguarding, governance, employment and data protection issues.

About You
Essential
Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a current practising certificate.
Strong grounding in English contract law.
Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and interpreting a wide range of agreements.
Excellent judgement and ability to provide balanced, pragmatic legal advice.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences.
Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Previous in-house legal experience.

Experience working within the charity, non-profit or social impact sector.
Knowledge of charity law and governance frameworks.
Experience using legal technology and AI tools to support legal operations.
