About the role
This role is an opportunity to support and shape a major programme of research on how to deliver more innovative health care for patients and the public. You will work alongside our subject matter experts to provide effective project support and organisation for this research.
We are looking for a project officer to provide the day to day business and project support to work across a range of projects but including an exciting new multi-year partnership exploring how innovation can be harnessed to support the health and care system towards delivering care closer to where people live.
You will act as the main point of contact for project participants and research contacts, organise events and activities and support the day to day financial management of projects, reforecasting budgets and setting up timelines. You will also undertake research support tasks including administering surveys, producing feedback reports for research participants and extracting and collating relevant information from key documents and websites.

About the role
The Fundraising Strategy and Operations team delivers high quality operations support to the wider Fundraising Directorate including Strategic Liaison with Service teams, Compliance, Supporter Journeys and Communications, and Supporter Care.
The role sits within our friendly and dedicated Supporter Care team. In addition to providing operations support to the Fundraising Directorate, the team provides a high standard of customer service to Centrepoint supporters and members of the public.
The role works alongside two other Officers and the team Manager to help steward and grow our compassionate supporter base, securing Centrepoint’s long term future, and enabling us to reach our strategic goals through helping to maximise fundraised income and increase donor loyalty.

ABOUT THE SAÏD FOUNDATION
The Saïd Foundation was established as a non-sectarian and non-political charity in 1982 by Wafic and Rosemary Saïd to bring positive and lasting change to the lives of children, young people and the wider community with a focus on the Levant region of the Middle East and on the UK, and on education as a powerful tool to make change. It is governed by a Board of Trustees and the Board’s Student, Projects, Audit and Investments Committees. Khaled Saïd has just become Chair of the Board.
Since 1984, our longest-standing programme, the Scholarships Programme, has offered opportunities to outstanding individuals with leadership potential to be drivers of positive change within our target countries of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine. JOB DESCRIPTION
Job purpose:
To lead a small, motivated team in the best-practice implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Foundation’s programmes and grants and to build strong relationships with the Foundation’s Trustees, partners and scholars.
Responsibilities:
1. Programme and grant management
a) To oversee the management of the scholarships programme, ensuring the selection of outstanding students from the Levant region and the Foundation’s duty of care to them while they are in the UK.
b) To oversee the Foundation’s grant-making programmes, ensuring that grants agreed by the Trustees are informed by rigorous due diligence and are monitored effectively.
c) To provide guidance as necessary to the Board and staff of the Saïd Foundation for Development in Syria on governance and project management matters.
d) To oversee the evaluation of the scholarships programme periodically, and grant-funded projects as necessary, to ensure they achieve their intended objectives and apply learning to their improvement.
2. Organisation and staff management
a) To devise and implement annual plans for implementation of the Foundation’s work, define the level and timing of human and other resources required to deliver the plans and develop key performance indicators to report progress against plans to the Board.

● Maintain shared content calendars and planning tools to ensure joined-up delivery and

Digital, Website & Social Media Content
● Create and manage content for Ella’s website, ensuring it remains current,
engaging and accessible.
● Plan and create social media content in collaboration with colleagues across the organisation.
● Monitor digital performance and engagement, using insights to improve reach and impact.
Programme, Impact & Ethical Storytelling
● Work with programme teams to gather stories, outcomes and insights in an ethical,
trauma-informed way.
● Develop case studies and impact content that demonstrate Ella’s work to funders, partners
and the public.
● Ensure survivor voices are represented respectfully, safely and with consent.
Stakeholder & External Communications
● Support communications with funders, partners, supporters and wider audiences (with
particular focus on supporting the development of our individual giving programme).
● Assist with press releases, briefings and external opportunities as required.
● Ensure messaging supports both awareness-raising and the development of Ella’s supporter
pipeline.
Advocacy and Campaigning
● Support the design and delivery of Ella’s advocacy and campaigning pilot activity focused on
2–3 priority issues affecting survivors.
● Develop accessible, survivor-centred messaging that highlights systemic barriers and
opportunities for change.
● Coordinate advocacy-related content across channels, including blogs, social media,
briefings and campaign materials.
● Work with colleagues to test, monitor and refine advocacy approaches during the pilot phase
● Help document learning and recommendations to inform the future development of a
permanent advocacy function.
Monitoring, Reporting and Good Practice:
● Track communications and campaign activity and contribute to internal reporting.
● Ensure all communications comply with safeguarding, data protection and accessibility
standards.
● Maintain organised records of content, assets and approvals.
