The Human Resources Business Partner will lead all aspects of HR across ParalympicsGB and oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of learning and development (L&D) for a workforce of approximately 50 employees.

This role is central to ensuring that ParalympicsGB maintains a positive, high performing culture, underpinned by effective people management, robust HR processes, and meaningful development opportunities for all staff.

Working three days per week (0.6 FTE), the postholder will act as the organisation’s primary HR contact, providing expert guidance to Directors, Heads of Department and Managers, and ensuring compliance with current UK employment legislation and best practice, supported by continuous professional development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Human Resources Management

Expedition advisory support

Participate in the provision of advice and support to Society grant recipients and other expedition teams and individuals across their project lifecycles.

Job Purpose  

Working in a team of three and reporting to the Foundation Director, you will support the effective and efficient grant making of the Goldsmiths' Foundation by managing its Proactive Grant Programmes and administering the Foundation's restricted funds. Proactive grants are closed to open application but are solicited for either regular or one-off grants. This role requires a strong understanding of vocational and technical skills in the jewellery-making, silversmithing and allied trade sector. 

Delivery of Proactive Grant Programmes 

• Support the Foundation Director and colleagues to implement and deliver Proactive Grants Programmes, aligned with the 2025-2030 Strategy. 

• Support the Foundation Director in implementing learning goals for the Programmes, collecting data and working with commissioned learning partners. 

• Manage relationships with charitable partners who regularly receive grants from the Foundation, particularly those working in the jewellery, silversmithing and allied trade sectors. 

• Manage one-off grants that are solicited by Foundation Trustees due to their strong alignment to Foundation Objects. 

• Support The Goldsmiths' Foundation Trustees and Advisory Group and administering its decisions. 

Management of Restricted Funds 

• Administer the Foundation's restricted funds including the Aiden Threlfall Charitable Trust, the Brian Wood Memorial Travel Scholarship, the Miller Fund/Binney Medal (including event administration of the annual Binney Lunch), the Martin Bowes Charitable Fund and The Silver Trust. 

• Manage grant applications and awards from these restricted funds in accordance with their specific terms and conditions. 

• Maintain accurate records and reporting on restricted fund activities. 

• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and legal obligations for each restricted fund. 

Management and Governance of Proactive Grant Programmes 

• Day-to-day management of regular grantees, ensuring effective communication and support.

About the role

We are looking to appoint a full-time Trust and Foundations Fundraising Lead (35 hours per week) to lead and develop Rainbow Trust’s trusts and foundations fundraising programme. You will manage relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, raising the funds we need to deliver and grow our support services.

Our Philanthropy team is an ambitious team with a well-established fundraising programme, playing a significant role in raising £5.7m a year to fund our support services and with plans to grow income over the next 3-5 years. We have an established portfolio of funders, giving low level gifts to six figure donations and you will have the opportunity to work on large applications.

You will cultivate strong working relationships with a portfolio of trust and foundations, including five- and six-figure grants, increasing their engagement and support of the charity, through reports, meetings and phone calls. Through the identification and research of new prospective trust funders, you will find creative ways to engage with them to secure funding. You will also collaborate with internal teams to develop strong cases for support and impact measurement.

An established professional membership organisation is looking for a Senior Services Coordinator to support the delivery and development of a portfolio of member services. The contract terms​

•  Our full time hours are 35 hours per week, but we are committed to flexible working ​and offer a hybrid approach to working. ​Members of our ELT are expected to be in person at one of our offices at least once a week and sometimes more. Due to the nature of our work, regular evening and weekend working is required of ELT members with time off in lieu given.​

• Hybrid working: Meeting in person and working collaboratively are things we value. This role is linked to our Ewell (Surrey) office with a blend of home working and option to work out of our London office as required.​
