Job Purpose
This role sits within our new forensic Women’s Nova Roots service, which is a peer led service for women who are leaving forensic services, based in West London. The service will be open 3 days a week: one weekday evening out of hours and three weekends a month (flexible weekend pattern and times can be arranged).
The aim of the service is to support women who are leaving forensic care to re-integrate into society by offering a community social hub. The focus of the service is to provide social engagement, relaxation and a touch point for out of hours forensic support. The Women’s Hub will provide face-to-face holistic group support, offer psychoeducation and health workshops tailored and coproduced to the direct needs of clients, offer peer-led groups which will be co-designed and led by the clients accessing the hub. We will also offer a range of activities onsite.
Nova Roots will be an extension of the existing support offered by the Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT), offering out of hours social support. All referrals into the hub will be directly from the SCFTs and local hospitals.
The Nova Roots will be staffed with 1 part time Project Coordinator and 4 Forensic/Peer Led Volunteers – with Service Manager oversight. The Project Coordinator will work directly and closely with the SCFTs.
The Role
The role of the Nova Roots Project Coordinator is to arrange and coordinate a range of psychoeducation, health and peer-led workshops which will be delivered 3 times a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the 4 peer-led volunteers and oversight of the site 3 days a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will also be required to be in regular communication with the SCFTs.
The role will require hybrid working: onsite when the hub is open and 1 day of planning/coordination which can be worked remotely on a rota basis.

- The Birmingham Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. Working in close collaboration with the Senior Mass Fundraising Lead, the role will manage and deliver a variety of community-led fundraising initiatives and dynamic challenge events that engage supporters and generate vital unrestricted funds for children affected by neuroblastoma.

The World Hepatitis Alliance is an international NGO, representing over 400 civil society and patient organisation members in over 120 countries. We are committed to eliminating viral hepatitis, a devastating disease that affects more than 300 million people and is now the second most deadly infectious disease in the world.
Our current partners are mostly global corporate funders, along with several private foundations, and most support is given through bespoke partnerships, sponsorship and grants. We have diversified the base of funding substantially, introduced new funding models, and identified new funding opportunities, including working with partners to respond to global donor or institutional funding.
We are looking for a confident relationship-building who thrives on identifying new opportunities and developing long-term partnerships to help build on this momentum.
Duties and key responsibilities:
- Together with the Director of Partnerships & Resources, you will support the implementation of the fundraising strategy, deliver activity plans and achieve income targets in line with organisational funding priorities.
- Maintain and develop relationships with some existing partners.
- Proactively research and engage potential new partners and opportunities, which could include corporate partnerships, grant writing and sponsorship.
- Support on the delivery of sponsorship packages for campaigns and the World Hepatitis Summit – a bi-annual event hosted by the World Hepatitis Alliance.
- Support on the management of WHA’s annual corporate membership scheme
- Undertake your own projects such as the development of presentations, resources, newsletters or tools to support engagement with donors, working with programmes and communications colleagues, or support on wider organisational projects.
- Support the Director of Partnerships & Resources to deliver donor stewardship.
- Manage CRM database and provide administrative support across fundraising as needed.

The World Hepatitis Alliance is a small team who work closely together to deliver a wide range of programmes, activities, campaigns and communications. About you:
We are looking for a confident fundraiser who thrives on developing new opportunities and is self-motivated and pro-active.
We would like you to have at least three years’ experience in fundraising with corporates and/or trusts and foundations, or have demonstrable transferable skills, particularly around networking/new business and writing proposals. We would also like you to demonstrate skills in delivering presentations, managing data or supporter journeys, and it would be ideal if you had experience of working in, or a personal interest in, global health or infectious diseases.
We are also looking for someone who can work under pressure to meet deadlines while also having an eye for detail and desire to maintain high standards. Someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We work quite flexibly, and sometimes with partners all over the world so there may be a call or two outside of working hours. There may also be the opportunity to travel occasionally.

Job Purpose
Working closely with all members of the #iwill team, plus #iwill Ambassadors, and partners, this role enables effective, efficient, and coordinated activity across the #iWill Movement. It truly is the backbone of the team. Hosted by Volunteering Matters, the Business Support Coordinator will support the #iWill Movement’s core functions, with particular focus on supporting strategy, partnership, and communications activity, ensuring meetings, events, campaigns and wider activities are planned, coordinated and delivered to a high standard. From liaising with partners, to developing online resources, coordinating online and in-person activity, monitoring delivery, and managing financial transactions, the role supports the movement to create long lasting change via the power of youth.
This role works as part of the wider #iWill team from Volunteering Matters and UK Youth, and reports to the Head of #iWill Movement Strategy and Co-ordination.

The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, induction, training and management of our dedicated team of over 150 volunteers. You will be helping us grow the number and range of volunteers, develop the work they do and play in important role in defining what the future of volunteering in our organisation looks like, and how it fits with our wider workforce.
