As Trust and Foundation Fundraiser, you will devise and lead a trust and foundation fundraising strategy in order to achieve set goals and financial targets. You will oversee the writing of applications for both core funding and new capital and revenue projects, ensuring the cases for support are strong and compelling. You will aim to improve their new trust acquisition and maintain their retention of existing trust and foundation supporters.  You will also assist with small major donor cultivation events with the support of the Donor Relations Officer and Development Director and other senior Hospice staff to maximise impact.

The role

As a Community Fundraiser, you will be the face of St Richard’s Hospice in the community, you will help our wonderful fundraisers and inspiring new supporters to raise money for the charity, always ensuring they receive the best possible supporter experience. You will be part of the wider Income Generation team, contributing to our shared goals and income targets.

A key part of the role will be to deliver fundraising with strong financial impact: achieving a 3:1 return on investment within two years, ensuring activities are cost-efficient, effective, and sustainable.

Flexibility will be required for evening and weekend working as well as the ability to travel locally to events, meetings or fundraising activities. This role is based at the Hospice, Wildwood Drive, Worcester.

We are looking for people to join our Bristol Women’s Pathway in the role of Night Concierge (*women only).

Managed in partnership by St Mungo’s and Next Link, Respite Rooms is a 12-month pilot offering short-stay, trauma-informed accommodation for women with complex needs fleeing or at risk of domestic and gender-based violence.

You will be joining a busy service working as a Night Concierge, you will:

• Provide a first point of contact and safeguarding to clients at night.
• Be responsible for dealing with emergencies, undertaking regular health and safety checks on patrols and through monitoring the CCTV system.
• Report incidents or maintenance issues and communicate any concerns or events to the rest of the team.
• This is a lone-working night role, with support available through an on-call system to ensure guidance and assistance is always accessible when needed.

Typical schedule: A rolling night shift rota, including weekends and bank holidays, usually around 9pm-7.30am with 3-4 days off.

About you

This is a great role to learn about working in the charity sector, many of our specialist workers and managers developed a career after starting in Night Concierge roles.

• You don’t need loads of experience; but some time working or volunteering in a similar environment and an understanding of the issues that affect vulnerable women who may have complex needs will be beneficial. 
• You should have good communication and basic IT skills with the ability to keep records and follow procedures.
• The ability to stay alert and awake during your shift, and work independently.
• Using your initiative to remain calm to identify the appropriate action to take in various situations.

The Finance and Officer Administrator role is an integral part of Buttle UK, working across teams – grants development, fundraising and marketing along with the finance and operations team to support the delivery of our work. The role

The welfare rights adviser will report to the welfare rights supervisor.

The welfare rights adviser  will be supporting people affected by long term health issues with financial challenges, supporting with benefit and housing advice, and referring on for further support where appropriate. 

Experience as a welfare rights adviser, including managing your own casework, is essential when applying for this role.

Principal accountabilities / responsibilities: -

Welfare rights advice and casework

· To provide welfare rights advice and casework for people affected by long-term health conditions, including inpatients, outpatients, and carers.

· To work at least two days per week on site, mainly based at the Royal Free Hospital or the Royal Free Charity office

· To provide advice and support primarily on welfare benefits and housing matters (that do not require a solicitor).

· To check whether clients are in receipt of all the benefits they are entitled to and help them claim relevant benefits.

· To help clients understand benefit decisions and challenge them (where appropriate) by way of mandatory reconsiderations and appeals.

· To help clients ensure they keep to their responsibilities in respect of their benefit claims, for example by notifying any relevant changes of circumstances.

· To refer or signpost clients to other agencies or departments as appropriate, e.g., housing solicitors; community care cases involving social services and NHS duties, FCA-regulated debt and immigration services.

· To signpost or refer to other services that might be valuable to a client such as condition specific charities, mental health support, or offerings in the local community that would improve their health and wellbeing.

· As part of this role, there may be some advice given to NHS staff.

· There may also be some involvement in new advice projects

· There will also be some triaging new referrals as part of this role

We're looking for a Caretaker to join our team based in Medway, Kent. You will support the team to ensure our properties are maintained to a high standard by carrying out a variety of tasks including cleaning and handy person duties. You will deliver a professional, customer service focused service to ensure our properties are safe and work towards our good homes standard. You will be based within our  Medway homeless project, focused on people with a housing-related support need, including people experiencing homelessness, in unsuitable accommodation, or at immediate risk of homelessness.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean buildings and rooms including end of tenancy deep cleans
• Prepare accommodation for new occupants
• Carry out basic repairs and maintenance which could include furniture upkeep, gardening, replacing bulbs, painting and decorating
• Work closely with teams to carry out risk assessments
• Work with external partners for further repair tasks

About You

We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in Caretaking and has an understanding of health, safety, and environment, with the ability to apply this practically to a residential service. You will be able to take ownership of your role and projects, and can work independently as well as part of a team. You will understand the needs of our residents and able to work flexibly to meet tailored needs for our residents and staff.

• Proven appropriate experience in a similar role, this can include housekeeping, cleaning, or handyperson work
• Proactive nature, with the ability to make decisions and use initiative to provide logical solutions, taking ownership and accountability

Community Engagement Officer (part-time/2 or 3 days per week – fixed term contract of 12 months) for a small, growing community organisation based in East London.

The Southeast and East Asian Centre CIC (SEEAC) is a non-profit organisation registered as a community interest company that provides community-based support to members of the East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) communities, especially those underrepresented and marginalised migrants and refugees in the UK. Our website. This is a part-time role to lead SEEAC’s engagement with the East and Southeast Asian Communities. The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for reaching out, building and maintaining a solid network with community members, identifying and understanding communities’ needs, liaising and coordinating with other stakeholders who can provide relevant support and assistance, and supporting the development of communication materials for the communities. The post holder will work closely with members of the SEEAC staff team, volunteers and partners in organising and promoting community activities and disseminating information to the community members and relevant stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you must have 2 or more years of demonstrated professional experience working in a community setting or a non-profit organisation involving social justice issues (as an employee or a volunteer) and strong organisational and administrative skills. We expect you to demonstrate proven ability to organise events and activities. You also need to have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality, as well as a good understanding of project planning and budgeting. You must be able to communicate fluently in English and, preferably with a command of at least one of ESEA languages. It would be beneficial if you have previously worked as part of a diverse team and have exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of quickly establishing good relationships to respond sensitively and confidentially to all stakeholders. We would also prefer you to have experience of working directly with ESEA communities or other minoritised, racialised or migrant communities and/or have good knowledge of ESEA cultures. Those with lived experience of the issues faced by migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum and/or their family members are encouraged to apply.

You will report to the Programme Manager and collaborate with all members of the staff. At times, you will liaise and collaborate with SEEAC’s stakeholders, such as volunteers and partner organisations, to design and convene activities that effectively support communities’ needs.

Flexible homework is offered in a hybrid setting, with in-person work based at the SEEAC office in East London. To create a better collaboration with other staff members and communities, SEEAC, however, require all staff members to work in the office or on-site occasionally as required. Depending on activities and event planned, the post requires occasional work in the evening and during weekends within contracted hours. Opportunities for skills development training are offered. This is a 12-month fixedterm contract, on a part-time of 3 or 2-days/week part-time (0.6 or 0.4 FTE) basis, for a January 2026 start. SEEAC’s full-time is 5 days per week (35hrs per week). Nature-based Solutions Officer

The Nature-based Solutions (NbS) team helps identify, develop, and deliver projects that restore nature and attract at-scale private investment through award-winning initiatives. This role will play a key part in growing the pipeline of nature-led projects across the UK’s National Parks, supporting project development and collaboration with a range of partners.

About the role
As NbS Officer, you will:

• Manage and monitor the NbS project pipeline, gathering and analysing data and reports.
• Build strong relationships with project teams across the 15 National Parks.
• Support the development of tools such as GIS mapping to enhance data management and insight.
• Assist with event planning, stakeholder meetings, and knowledge-sharing activities.

You may have experience working in land management, an environmental NGO, or a similar setting, and ideally some exposure to nature-based solutions or environmental projects.

Our compassionate and dynamic Group Facilitators provide the ‘beating heart’ of support within our multi-disciplinary teams working with individuals of all ages affected by domestic abuse, including those with harmful behaviours, and sexual violence.

This varied and rewarding role involves delivering trauma-informed groupwork and limited one-to-one support across a range of programmes, including:

• Empowerment and recovery groups for those who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse.
• Behaviour change programmes for individuals using harmful behaviours in their relationships.
• Digital peer support and learning opportunities through our online survivor platform, ‘Connecting You’.

Working collaboratively with our IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisor), ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) and Behaviour Change teams, you will help ensure that support is safe, inclusive, and effective for people with a range of experiences and risks. You will play a vital part in championing people to recover from trauma, build safe relationships, and move forward with dignity and hope.

Key Responsibilities

Group Facilitation and Delivery

• Deliver structured, evidence-based and trauma responsive group programmes for victims/survivors and individuals who have used harm.
• Foster safe, inclusive spaces that promote empowerment, emotional safety, and constructive challenge.
• Co-facilitate groups with trained colleagues, volunteers or peer mentors/Experts by Experience as needed.

 One-to-One Support

• Provide limited 1:1 support for medium-risk clients who may be waiting for or transitioning between group programmes and/or other services.
• Contribute to joint safety and support planning alongside IDVAs, ISVAs and Behaviour Change Workers.
• Monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with organisational policies.

Digital Survivor Platform – Connecting You

• Update and upload resources, tutorials, and activities for survivors accessing the platform.
• Support survivors engaging with online content, including managing enrolments and online group access.
• Design and deliver trauma-informed self-paced tutorials and reflective learning tools.

Peer Mentoring and Survivor Involvement

• Support the recruitment, mentoring and involvement of ‘experts by experience’ in group delivery.
• Encourage and nurture survivor voices and peer leadership within both in-person and digital forums.
• Training and Awareness-Raising.
• Deliver training sessions to professionals and external partners where required.
• Speak at community or public events to raise awareness of domestic and sexual violence, healthy relationships, and recovery.
