The Press and Media Relations Officer represents the work of SCIE, acting as the point of contact for members of the press and other media representatives. The post holder is responsible for maintaining the profile and reputation of the charity and helping to achieve our influencing objectives with policymakers and leaders in the social care sector. Senior Social Media Officer
Are you passionate about social media and have experience of managing content across a range of platforms?
Sue Ryder is looking for a Senior Social Media Officer to join the Digital Team, to manage our portfolio of social media accounts and develop the charity’s channels to showcase the importance of our end-of-life care and bereavement support.
The Role
Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the role works closely with colleagues across the charity including fundraising, health & social care, and retail. Our social channels play a key role in providing support to people who are struggling with grief, as well as being an important engagement tool with our supporters. Duties and responsibilities
• Responsibility for managing Action Tutoring’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube). The Events Officer plays a key role in our highly effective communications team, leading on the delivery of an impactful programme of events – both online and in person. Events are an important way for Ageing Better to influence priority audiences, including businesses and local and national government, and the postholder will advise teams on how events can best reach these audiences, encourage engagement and lead to lasting relationships.
