About the role
As Crisis’ Media and Artist Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health. You’ll also identify, build and nurture relationships with artists and influencers to secure their support for Crisis and our work, whether that be political campaigning, fundraising or our commercial and retail offering.
Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. You’ll help create hard-hitting news stories and media hooks that engages our audiences and raises awareness of Crisis’ work. You’ll also work with our Artist Liaison Manager to utilise our high-profile supporters and ambassadors to inspire and raise awareness of our cause with key audiences and develop creative and engaging ways to amplify our media campaigns on social media. You will also help make the most of reactive opportunities that come through to our press office and help build strong relationships with key journalists.
Location: Based in London office (Working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy with a minimum of two days a week working in the office)
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience of working within a busy press office environment/ PR agency or as a journalist.

Experience of generating engaging and impactful media and talent plans that secure stand out coverage across news, consumer, online and regional media.

Excellent writing skills, with the ability to write for a range of audiences and outlets including news, consumer, and trade.

Experience of working with high profile people (including influencers) and management teams.

Experience of working with and interviewing case studies, identifying and preparing stories for the media and empowering people to share their experience.

Good knowledge of the UK media, celebrity, and influencer landscape

Parentkind has begun an exciting new chapter delivering new products and campaigns, and we are looking for high-performing team players to join our fun and friendly marketing team.
Main purpose and scope of the role:
To support and work in collaboration with our lead designer at Parentkind to:
- Develop, implement and maintain a new brand for Parentkind
- Create best-in-class design of print and digital assets, including magazines, guides, videos, website, campaign and social media assets
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders providing creative and innovative design support for Parentkind projects
Duties and key responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Lead Designer at Parentkind
1.Design:
- Champion the Parentkind brand across all designed assets and activities to ensure brand integrity and consistency
- Design assets which will include but are not limited to; print and digital magazines, guides, social assets, email designs, web assets, video content and PowerPoint templates
- Contribute creatively to large campaigns and activities ensuring that we are delivering best in-class and impactful design, that effectively represents and promotes our vision
- Conduct thorough quality checks on deliverables to ensure accuracy
2.Project management:
- Lead on the delivery of design activity such as guides, social and email campaigns, ensuring that design work is delivered to time and allows for revisions, sign-off and launch deadlines
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Assist in managing and organising design assets, including image libraries, templates and project files
3.Collaboration:
- Work with the lead designer at Parentkind to support on projects, refine design outputs and deliver work within the Parentkind brand and to deadlines
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that design work meets the objectives of the relevant projects and is done so within the Parentkind brand
4.Continuous learning:
- Work with others across the organisation as well as independently to understand our key audiences so that the work delivered is audience-focussed
- Stay informed of the latest design trends, technologies and best practises so that Parentkind’s work is forward-thinking and impactful

Impact and Insights Officer
This is a brand new, unique role to be an impact catalyst across both Carlisle and Barnet youth zones, generating support and building towards a ‘culture of impact’ in both organisations such that outcome measurement and impact reporting becomes routine and ‘every day’.
Position: Impact and Insights Officer
Location: Home-working combined with a minimum of 8 days per month across both Barnet and Carlisle youth zones (travel expenses will be covered as part of the package)
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 (dependent upon experience)

About the Role
You will lead on data analysis and reporting on the data held in Salesforce CRM, improving both the quality and quantity of monitoring and evaluation processes, driving improvements in data capture through training and upskilling the Youth Work team, strengthening the ability of both youth zones to demonstrate the measurable impact of youth work delivered.
You will also be responsible for measuring and demonstrating both charities’ impact to stakeholders; authoring and providing the necessary data to the leadership and fundraising teams and Board (as required), annual publications such as Trustees Reports and annual Impact Reports. Innovation is a key aspect of this role, involving the introduction and embedding of new methodologies to enhance the qualitative data capture process.
You will collaborate closely with a cross section of teams within the youth zones, working with the Youth Work delivery teams to feed data into decision making, and with the Communications and Fundraising teams to provide impact measurement and analysis content for use with stakeholders and in donor reporting. Furthermore, it will align impact and data work with national and local policy, and use national census, health, police and other statistical data to position both youth zones for new income generation opportunities.
About You
This role is ideal for someone who has the ability to bring technical analysis to life in a youth work setting and can communicate insights in an accessible style to different audiences. The Impact and Insights Officer should be passionate about embracing the power of youth work and be keen to support youth zones in evidencing the impact created with young people. It will require someone who can bring impact expertise and creativity to create buy-in and drive improvements in data capture; and someone who is keen to work flexibly and closely with teams of passionate youth workers and who is unafraid of the challenge presented by Youth Zones in two very different geographic locations.

Role description
As Commercial Sales & Events Coordinator you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to the weddings and event hire team. Dealing with initial enquiries and conducting show-rounds to putting together event packages and maintaining the booking system are all in a days work. In addition, you’ll be adept at liaising with clients and suppliers, setting up for events and delivering the best possible experience to guests on the day – always making sure we deliver a first-class service. Weddings, film shoots (we can certainly name drop a few people!), event and venue hires - you’ll deliver excellent customer service and administrative support. You’ll be helping to maximize Gunnersbury’s commercial potential and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. About this key role
Our successful candidate will work collaboratively with senior management to contribute to the implementation of the new income generation strategy – focusing specifically on retention and developing our unrestricted voluntary income from a range of funding streams. You will diversify and improve the ways in which we generate unrestricted income from individual giving through proactive, innovative ideas, plus develop and design high-quality appeals, presentations and pitches to garner wider national support and brand awareness for St Giles.
We will rely on you to provide excellent stewardship to existing donors, including writing reports, planning and hosting visits for key stakeholders that inspire them to continue to support St Giles, while also providing support to the Head of Voluntary Fundraising & Fundraising Manager with reports, due diligence procedures and applications where necessary. Organising a small number of fundraising events per year and providing line management, supervision and coaching to a Fundraising Assistant is also a key element of this role.
