The DARO Stewardship Officer will focus on building affinity and active support through multichannel communications, fundraising and engagement activities with over 100,000 alumni and supporters around the world.

Reporting to the Alumni Engagement Manager and working closely with the DARO team, the DARO Stewardship Officer will be responsible for the annual PROM magazine and regular newsletter updates, social media content creation and dissemination, targeted fundraising appeal activity and stewardship materials for engagement across various donor and volunteer audiences.

The Role

Reporting to the Compliance Lead, the Compliance Officer will drive the development of an improved Compliance culture throughout the charity whilst ensuring that we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Acting as a knowledge expert on compliance and promoting a culture of compliance within the charity in relation to data protection, fundraising and the provision of support services, by the provision of advice, guidance, internal communications and training.

· Project managing a number of key actions from an external review of the organisation’s Data Protection practices.

· Assist the Compliance Lead and Associate Director of Legal and Governance in producing ad hoc and annual compliance reports along with any annual submissions to regulators, 3rd parties or external bodies.

· liaise with internal and external stakeholders to promote and share understanding of caba in house services, economic and social issues affecting our UK and overseas service users

You will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy, Senior Philanthropy Manager and the wider team to support the cultivation and stewardship of individual donors who fund a variety of activity at Serpentine – from exhibitions and our summer Pavilion programme, to live events and our Ecologies, Arts Technologies and Civic Engagement projects. Our immigration advice service offers support to more than 2,000 people each year. Praxis provides a safe space and support through immigration advice and support to access services such as housing and health. We run peer support groups that build social networks and confidence. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Officer to join our small yet dynamic Fundraising team to help grow our income through Charitable Trusts and Foundations and from Statutory bodies. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we look to build a future of excellent frontline services and influential lived experience led campaigning. 

You will play an integral role in delivering on generating income to pursue our strategic priorities, managing high-value Trusts and Statutory relationships, joining a dynamic and ambitious organisation with exciting opportunities for fundraisers to contribute to growth and development.

In this role you will:

· Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of £50k+ prospects, working with fundraising and operational colleagues to develop high-value, strategic and multi-year opportunities.

• Prepare and submit compelling funding applications to trusts and foundations and other grant making bodies to grow income.

· Account manages key Trusts & Statutory funders, leading on the development of impact reports, and ensuring a bespoke and memorable stewardship experience by developing plans for key funders.

We are looking for the below skills and experience:

• Excellent written communication skills, with evidence of creating bespoke written proposals and reports for Trusts and Foundations and Statutory grant making bodies.
• A strong track record of building and managing a pipeline of high-value trusts prospects, with a proactive, new-business focused outlook.

• A results-oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting and exceeding fundraising targets
• An interest and commitment to migrant and race justice and inclusion
