The successful candidate will track and analyse media coverage of MSF in the UK through daily monitoring and the production of a weekly newsletter and quarterly reports. They will also debrief members of staff returning from MSF’s medical projects, as well as pitching stories to news outlets. Role also involves some social media management and opportunities to contribute to MSF events, such as Scientific Day.
This role is an opportunity to gain exposure to media work and explore the day-to-day work of an international NGO and to understand how and why we communicate. The role
As the Research and Evaluation Manager, you will manage the ACU’s overall contribution to the AU EU International Research Consortium (IRC). The IRC is a new bi-continental platform for Food and Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture (FNSSA). It was launched in 2022 and is closely linked to the main policy process of the AU-EU cooperation on Research and Innovation- the High-Level Policy Dialogue (HLPD). The implementation of the FNSSA Roadmap is expected to be improved through the IRC platform which is aiming to provide a long-term and sustainable governance and funding mechanisms, and a knowledge management and communication system that will inform policy makers and other major FNSSA actors.
The ACU is one of the founding organisations of the IRC. The role holder will be responsible for partnership management and the development and implementation of the Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks for two Horizon Europe funded programmes which will be contributing to the establishment and maintenance of the IRC.
Key tasks will include developing participatory monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) frameworks, data collection and analysis systems as well as project management including reporting to Horizon Europe programme coordinators based at the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) in Ghana.

We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) - a serious condition that can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting, and light-headedness. The Role

Mile End Climbing Wall (MECW) is the trading name of the charity Development through Challenge (DtC).
Development through Challenge started life as a charity called North London Rescue Commando (NLRC), set up when London was at threat of flood. They moved to the current site from North London, where they had started as a small water sports centre. In the mid-1980s a change in focus led to the formation of Mile End Climbing Wall. It became the climbing wall in London and one of the first climbing walls in England. In 1997 NLRC changed its name to Development through Challenge.
Since then, we have been providing East London and UK climbing communities with high quality climbing and associated facilities that are available to everyone regardless of ability to pay, physical ability, or skill-level. We organise training and challenges that improve people’s wellbeing.

Role description
The Parliamentary Advocacy Coordinator (Education) will work with both organisations, providing crucial support to the Results UK Education and IPNEd Teams. We are looking for someone who will be proactive, efficient and flexible in supporting our parliamentary advocacy work both in the UK and globally. Having a can-do attitude that includes the more administrative aspects of the role is essential. This post will provide good opportunities for developing project management and advocacy skills; an understanding of key international development issues; and experience of working with Parliaments and parliamentarians in the UK and globally.
We are looking for candidates with an interest in and passion for international development and education to address poverty, inequality and oppression.
Key responsibilities
Supporting the work of the Results UK education and IPNEd teams
- Providing administrative support to the Results UK Education and IPNEd Teams and ensuring the smooth-running of internal processes that support the teams’ work, for example: contributing to the maintenance of the contact management systems and databases; supporting monitoring, learning and evaluation processes; tracking and communicating impact; engaging with external providers (e.g. report designers); managing procurement of translation services for events and meetings.
- Supporting political analysis for Results UK and IPNEd education teams to identify parliamentarians to work with as members of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Global Education in the UK and the IPNEd global network.
