About the role

We’re looking for a Programme Lead to drive forward a bold, nationally significant initiative designed to support educators in responding to one of the most complex and urgent challenges facing young people today.

This project will help schools engage with issues that affect how students form beliefs, navigate digital spaces, and make sense of the world. You’ll make sure the right things happen at the right time, driving both the strategy and the detail that bring this ambitious programme to life. You’ll coordinate multiple stakeholders, shape and manage delivery timelines, and maintain project fidelity.

You will work alongside the Director of Teacher Development, as well as other colleagues from our ITE, ECF and NPQ Faculties, as well as the Research and Best Practice team. You will also work closely with diverse external stakeholders including schoolteachers and leaders and young people.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the Senior Advisor to steward donor relationship including Members of UK for UNHCR’s Advisory Board and principal gift prospects and donors. This will include: 

• Supporting cultivation and stewardship. Involves working on account plans, preparing meeting briefings, writing of high-quality concept notes, proposals, reports, and other fundraising products.   
• Supporting external Advisory Board members to develop and execute opportunities to raise the profile of UNHCR’s work. This may include researching, identifying and initiating new initiatives.  
• Support with reporting back to the Advisory Board and regular stewardship ensuring the Board remains close to the charity and UNHCR – includes preparation of papers for quarterly Advisory Board meetings, monthly communications. 
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to identify key networks and individuals capable of supporting UNHCR financially. 
• Join portfolio meetings providing updates on the advisory board and relationships with key members.  
• Supporting the coordination of the Intermediary Strategy to grow relationships with connectors in the private client sector and in collaboration with others. 
• Support the Senior Advisor to maintain a focused new business pipeline. 
• Support with management reporting, including keeping salesforce up to date for the portfolio and related KPI tracking. 
• Other administration support with the portfolio

• Experience of working within a high value fundraising team, supporting on the development of high-quality communications such as reports and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

 Supporter Services

•  Lead the development and delivery of the new supporter services function considering people (capability, capacity and culture), processes, tools and technologies needed to deliver outstanding customer service so new and existing supporters feel valued and connected to the ESU’s mission.
• Design and implement supporter recruitment, development and retention plans including welcome journeys and approaches for reactivating dormant supporters.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Alumni Engagement team who provide support to an alumni base of almost 40,000 contactable alumni of the Sutton Trust programmes. These are generally young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds who move into highly competitive universities, courses and careers. The alumni community has grown rapidly over the past 3 years and now expects around 6-7000 new alumni to join each September. Engagement covers supporting their transition to university and into the workplace through communications, events and programmes. It also spans alumni volunteering, our Alumni Leadership Board, and working with our Development team towards alumni giving.

The role is dynamic and diverse, requiring you to be able to think strategically whilst devising and delivering on operational delivery plans, and we are looking for a confident and experienced team leader during a period of maternity leave.

This role is part of the Programmes Leadership Team and will work closely with the Director of Programmes, Head of Employability Programmes and Head of University Access & Digital on shaping the strategic direction of the team and its programmatic work. The role will also connect closely to the work of the Development Team as we look to devise and implement a segmented alumni giving scheme, as well as the Communications and Policy team, and may evolve to take on new projects over time.

Main duties

• Strategic leadership to alumni engagement, including:
  • Embedding alumni relations and programming across the organisation, ensuring alumni are considered or involved in all areas of the Trust’s work
  • Managing budget and project timelines to ensure projects are delivered effectively
  • Working with the wider programmes team to ensure a smooth transition for Sutton Trust beneficiaries between programmes and the alumni community

• Alumni Engagement and Volunteering:
  • Refining and communicating the alumni strategy across the Trust and to donors and external stakeholders
  • Growing the Sutton Trust alumni network and developing a long-term strategy for alumni engagement, including communications and events, identifying key areas of focus and setting out benchmarks and KPIs
  • Overseeing a suite of volunteering opportunities for alumni to give back to, and represent the Trust in (for example on programmes, with our funder base, in our research and policy work, or to benefit the alumni community)
  • Managing the online alumni platform (STA) and its integration with other platforms .

• Programme management and Alumni Support:
  • Support delivery of access to the workplace and employability programming for alumni alongside the Head of Employability Programmes
  • Overseeing the delivery of bursary support programmes (including the Opportunity Bursary funded by JP Morgan) by the Alumni Programmes Manager from recruitment to evaluation and reporting
  • Overseeing the delivery of a series of employer-led events (working with employer-facing colleagues across the Trust) across a range of industry sectors that support student access to workplace opportunities, and the chance to build employability skills (such as networking / interview skills etc)
  • Overseeing the development of content and activities to support young alumni transitioning to HE
  • Overseeing the evaluation and scoping for potential growth for alumni-alumni mentoring with the Alumni Connect programme (piloted in Spring 2025)
  • Ensuring appropriate systems and processes are in place to manage programmes and events for alumni

• Alumni Giving and Relationship Management
  • Working closely with the Development team to provide support for key funding partnerships including those that directly fund/ work with the Alumni team.
  • Working with the Director of Development/ Head of Philanthropy to input into a new strategy to build funding from our alumni
  • Working with the Development team to implement an ongoing segmented fundraising communications plan to build awareness of our need for funding and directing alumni to appropriate giving schemes depending on their life/career stage
  • Identifying potential mid to high level alumni donors and working with the Development team to cultivate
  • Representing the Trust and facilitating introductions via senior alumni for new and potential employer or delivery partners

• Team Management:
  • Leading the alumni team to ensure effective engagement of our alumni community, including line management responsibility, team meetings, pastoral support and appraisals
  • Line managing, motivating and proactively supporting the Alumni Programmes Manager and Senior Alumni Officer in their professional development
  • Working with Director of Programmes and Heads of Programmes on team management, culture and long term planning

Person Specification

We welcome applications from individuals who have experience in:

• Professional experience of alumni relations, or managing other similar membership communities, ideally within the education or charity sector.
• Has experience working within or an understanding of the not for profit sector and/or the education sectors;
• Experience of developing strategies, frameworks and operational plans to support alumni relations, programmes and events for young people, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of databases, data processes and experience using a CRM (ideally Salesforce)
• Experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation, managing budgets, financial control and administration
• Building relationships with significant, diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience of managing volunteers and volunteer stewardship
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong analytical skills
• First-class interpersonal skills - a natural ambassador able to represent the Sutton Trust in a range of settings

Terms of Appointment

• • Contract: 13-month Fixed-term Maternity cover contract starting November 2025. Our ideal dates are from 1 November 2025 – 30 November 2026, however we can be flexible if needed for the right candidate.

  • Office location: The Sutton Trust, 9th Floor, Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP. Our home working policy gives staff the option to work from home for up to 60% of the time, with approval from their line manager.

The Foundation for International Law for the Environment (FILE) is a not-for-profit philanthropic organisation working to accelerate legal action on climate change. 

Through grant-making and in-house legal expertise, we empower our partners to deliver strategic, innovative legal interventions and we support lawyers in their own countries to bring their own cases.

FILE is a ‘regrantor’ - this means we do not bring legal action in our own name. This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior role in FILE’s high-performing fundraising team and secure support from some of the world’s leading foundations working in climate.

FILE is seeking an ambitious and experienced Philanthropic Partnerships Lead to lead relationships with significant funders and play a critical role in shaping and advancing FILE’s ambitious fundraising strategy. The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will take the lead across a portfolio of existing donors and seek new funding opportunities from major philanthropic foundations.

The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will work closely with the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships and FILE leadership to shape fundraising and donor stewardship strategies and drive fundraising success. They will be comfortable operating at the most senior level externally to devise and deliver excellent donor experiences, and adept at navigating complex internal environments.

This is a high-profile position, building out FILE’s successful fundraising team. In a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, there is real potential for the right candidate to shape and grow the role to become a fundraising leader at FILE. The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will have the opportunity to work with major global philanthropies and to take a key role in supporting the future direction of a highly ambitious organisation. Key Responsibilities will include:

Donor relationship management and stewardship

The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will lead on several significant funder relationships, co-ordinating internally with FILE Leadership, the Head of Philanthropic Parnterships and strategic experts to devise and deliver excellent stewardship and donor experiences.

This will include:

• Setting donor strategy and creating and managing bespoke donor stewardship plans and communications
• Leading externally in face-to-face and virtual meetings, events and engagements and managing complex donor relationships across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
• Leading on key relationship touchpoints including performance and strategy reviews
• Liaising across internal cross-functional teams to plan and co-ordinate donor engagement at multiple levels
• Leading on proposals, donor impact reports, budgets and other key outputs

Cultivating new funder relationships

Securing new support is a critical organisational priority and the candidate will have the opportunity to forge new relationships with major funders.

Alongside FILE leadership and the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships, they will be responsible for identifying and progressing new pipeline opportunities and become the fundraising lead for specific thematic areas and initiatives.

This will include:

• Devising and delivering bespoke cultivation strategies for key donor prospects
• Devising new funding propositions and strategies for high-priority areas and new strategic initiatives
• Working with FILE leadership and strategy leads to delivering engaging cultivation, including through meetings, calls and written materials
• Actively progressing opportunities through the fundraising pipeline and leading on proposal development for target opportunities

Providing strategic support to the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships and leading cross-organisational projects and initiatives

The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will provide strategic counsel to the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships to develop and implement the wider fundraising strategy and take the lead on strategic initiatives such as:

• Designing and implementing an approach to communications planning and delivery, including through the creation and management of key communications content
• Designing, scoping and initiating new donor engagement products and experiences for most senior stakeholders
• Shaping donor engagement priorities and communications for FILE leadership

Key Competencies and Person Specifications

• The ideal candidate will be a senior relationship and stakeholder manager with demonstrable experience working in philanthropy, high-value funding or other senior relationship management roles.
• They will have extensive experience working in complex cross-functional roles with excellent influencing skills and strategic acumen.
• They will have experience in securing and managing 7 figure funding relationships and be confident working at the most senior level externally.
• They will have significant knowledge and experience in the foundation/ philanthropy sector, ideally in the climate or environmental space.
• The candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments, and be adept at managing complex and multi-level relationships both internally and externally.
• They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in leading on compelling proposals and pitches, turning complex and technical information into engaging donor content and experiences.
• The candidate will be highly organized, demonstrate strong project management skills and be comfortable balancing a varied and demanding workload.
• They will have a passion for global environmental issues, particularly climate change and biodiversity loss, and an affinity with FILE’s values.

Parallel is a small but ambitious charitable initiative doing big things: we currently support over 3,000 students through our maths enrichment activities, around 500 of whom receive dedicated weekly, small-group online tutorials in The Parallel Academy. Our mission is to support students on our programmes to fulfil their mathematical potential, by providing them with the opportunity to develop their reasoning and problem-solving skills beyond the curriculum. 

Our students are motivated and ambitious. Although our maths programme is optional and takes place outside of school hours, students have an average attendance above 95%.

The Role

We are rapidly expanding our service provision over the coming months, and are seeking a full or part-time Project Administrator to join our passionate and energetic team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our programmes and help embed the tools and processes for reaching thousands more students each year.

This is a versatile role with responsibilities ranging from database management to setting up online events and communicating with service users, schools and tutoring staff. Working within a small administration team, you will be proficient at using a range of tools such as spreadsheets, meeting platforms and scheduling software, and will be willing to learn new ways of working. We are looking for someone who can remain focused under pressure, using their initiative to deal proactively with a range of tasks and to prioritise the competing demands of a busy workload. 

Hours

This is a flexible and fully remote role, and you will have significant autonomy in how you structure your working week. 

As part of your contracted hours, you will be required to work some evenings and weekends, but this will not exceed one day a week in total. There will also be periods when there is a higher workload (e.g., during student recruitment periods), so you may be required to offer some flexibility in working longer (and then shorter) hours week to week. We are happy to discuss how the hours and role might work for you during the interview stage.
 

Key duties and responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date spreadsheets relating to student rosters and learning data.

• Adopt data hygiene principles so that data is managed smartly, in accordance with our data privacy policy.

• Lead on event creation, which primarily concerns the hundreds of weekly tutorials we run each week, but also extends to other activities such as student admissions, end of term testing and public webinars.

• Help to manage a high-volume inbox, responding to daily emails and triaging across the team by assigning correct levels of priority to each correspondence.

• Support the onboarding of new tutors (e.g. overseeing DBS checks, approving invoices) and take the lead on finding cover when gaps appear in our tutoring schedule.

• Liaise with prospective schools and students and undertake key data gathering activities to identify the most suitable candidates for our programmes.

• Support in developing and updating key policies and procedures. 

• Support with general administrative tasks.

• The post-holder will also be expected to undertake any other tasks commensurate with the role and which may be reasonably required. 

Requirements

Skills 

• Proficient in working with digital tools and software such as Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Zoom and Trello (and able to learn new tools very quickly).

• Excellent with spreadsheets and data - you know your vlookups from your pivot tables 

• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders, with a professional and sensitive approach. 

• Strong judgement: can be relied upon to implement agreed processes but also shows initiative to suggest improvements to how we work.

About the role 

The Campaign & Programme Lead: Climate & Health supports health workers to campaign for just and proportionate action on climate change, working closely with our Movement Organiser and other colleagues. Currently our work focuses on the intersection of climate and housing, working to end the public health crisis of fuel poverty and poor-quality homes. In particular this role is responsible for national advocacy and campaigning on fuel poverty and housing, supporting members to organise in their local communities, and being a key part in the Homes for Health campaign team.

The role involves holding Medact’s key knowledge base on climate and health issues. You will build relationships across the health community and wider climate movement, from establishment institutions to frontline workers and grassroots groups. 

About you

This is a skilled role but you don’t need to have had a job in an NGO before or be a professional campaigner to be right for it. You might have worked with your local community to campaign on a social justice or health issue that you care about. Or, you might be a health worker who has seen the impact of these issues on your patients and wants to challenge the systems that drive inequity and marginalisation. 

You’ll have a strong understanding of power and how to work with others to create pressure for change. You need to be a great communicator, able to build trusting relationships with Medact members, academics, partner organisations and community groups. You’ll have an understanding of how digital communications compliment campaigning and an eye for a good media story.

Variety is looking for a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the fundraising team as we are launching an exciting new multi-year partnership later this year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

●Lead account management of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship, increasing engagement and supporting delivery for maximum potential for Variety

●Develop business leads to populate the corporate pipeline working with the new business manager, Director of Fundraising and CEO, for coordinating new business approaches

●Manage the largest national partnerships at Variety with integrated comms plans, staff and customer engagement and impact reporting

●Keep account plans and Salesforce, fundraising, communications, finance and impact reporting up to date, ensuring we meet key deadlines

Who are we?

The Global Foundations & Institutional Donors team is comprised of 12 colleagues working with either Institutional Donors or Foundations based in Copenhagen, Berlin, Brussels, Geneva and Kyiv. DRC funds come from a variety of sources - institutional donors such as the European Commission, UN agencies, and bilateral humanitarian and development funding envelopes from major donor countries, but increasingly also foundations - both Danish and International. Together with the rest of the department, the GFID team is working to increase DRC’s capacity and ambition to scope, expand, deepen, and strengthen partnerships and fundraising activities.
 

About the job

As Senior Partnership Advisor you will be part of the Global Foundation and Institutional Donors section (GFID) working directly with the Head of Global Foundation and Institutional Donors, colleagues based in HQ, DRC Representations in Geneva, Brussels and Berlin, and regionally with the Regional Business Development Coordinators. Your overall responsibility will be to support DRC’s capacity strengthening to maintain and improve donor relationships and fundraising efforts.

The Senior Partnership Advisor oversees the engagement and fundraising efforts focusing primarily on FCDO and the UK-based foundations, potentially there would also be some coverage of non-core donors like Irish Aid, Jersey Aid etc. You are tasked with undertaking analyses, elaborating donor intelligence, to inform and advise senior management and colleagues about partnership development as well as fundraising opportunities.
 

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

Strategy

• Support design and advancement of the global donor engagement strategy based on the FCDOs’ donor trends and priorities, (and relevant non-core donors).
• Mapping and scoping of UK-based foundations with the support of the wider GFID team.
• Lead the development of donor-specific engagement action plans for the FCDO and relevant foundations and steer their implementation.

Partnership Engagement

• Lead on a strong and strategic partnership between DRC and FCDO at capital level and UK-based Foundations and engage proactively with FCDO (and relevant non-core donors) to address challenges and opportunities related to DRC’s partnership at global level and inform/advise ROs/COs accordingly. Develop tools and guidance to support engagement with FCDO
• Provide support and expertise to DRC country and regional operations on the partnership.
• Represent DRC in dialogues with core donors on regulatory frameworks and actively participate in relevant events and coordination mechanisms with peer organisations or other networks and platforms.

Donor intelligence and knowledge management

• Monitor and analyse relevant trends and donor intelligence and provide strategic advice on possible impact and ways to adapt across all levels of the organization for FCDO, relevant UK foundations and /or non-core donors).
• Develop qualitative and quantitative analyses to feed into donor trends and global donor analyses, lessons learned, and other dissemination documents.

Partnership Management – externally and internally

• For FCDO funding, develop tools, platforms, and internal workflows for efficient strategic donor compliance (this includes maintaining DRC Insite donor pages, updating and publishing internal guidance tools such as Donorpedias, fact sheets etc.).
• Strengthen capacities of Grants Management Unit staff on FCDO policies and guidelines.
   

Occasional travel will be expected to DRC HQ, DRC representations or DRC country offices

About you

To excel in this role, you will have natural communication and social skills, including networking and the ability to influence. You are comfortable navigating internal stakeholders horizontally and vertically, and representing DRC externally with donors, peer organisations and in other forums.

You have strong knowledge of FCDO’s structure and funding priorities, including regulatory frameworks and contracting. This role calls for someone who is both a “thinker” and a “doer” - an ability to work on strategic-level analyses while being detailed as well as being results and service-oriented.

Required

• Documented extensive experience with institutional donors and donor engagement, and in particular, FCDO
• Experience in engaging with philanthropic and private sector foundations
• Understanding of the links between compliance and building the image of a go-to organisation for donors
• Strong relationship building skills and proactive approach to partnership building and nurturing
• Experience with networking and representation at all levels
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to identify, address and communicate the core of an issue, even if very complex
• Experience in working in an international, multicultural work environment, experience at country or regional level
• Master’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent in experience.
• The position is based in London. If the candidate is not already in London, you will need to be open to relocating.

Desirable

• Network among UK-based Foundations or experience working for or leading partnerships with UK-based Foundations
• Professional proficiency in languages other than English is an asset

About the role

The Drive Training Coordinator plays a central role in coordinating the planning and delivery of training activities across The Drive Partnership. The Training Coordinator will provide efficient logistical, administrative, and learner support across all Drive workforce trainings. This includes managing training schedules, resources, communication, and data in support of high-quality training outcomes.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed term until March 2026 with potential for 12-month extension to March 2027 - pending funding confirmation.
