Demand for our specialist tutoring programmes for Children Looked After, those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) continues to increase and we are seeking a dedicated and effective Partnerships Account Manager to join our team and support the increased demand for our provision and the continued scaling of our organisation.

We have over 13 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with hundreds of Schools and Local Authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually.

What is the Role?

The Partnerships Account Manager will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. With a focus on building and sustaining long-term local council and school relationships, the Partnerships Account Manager will work closely with clients to understand their needs, expand our service offerings, and ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. The majority of our key client relationships are with local councils, so a knowledge of how they operate would be very useful. 

The post holder will have the opportunity to line manage junior member(s) of the team, who provide essential bid-writing and administrative support to facilitate efficient and effective client management.

This role would suit someone with proven ability to operate effectively in scaling organisations where processes are still being defined. This role suits someone who is adaptable, resilient, and confident working at pace amid change.

The role will be suited to those who have worked within an education setting and held the title: SENCO, Head of Department, Advisory Teacher, Inclusion Coordinator or Designated Teacher. Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

   • Proactively seek new business opportunities within assigned regions to grow the client base.

   • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with key clients, ensuring their evolving needs are met and service offerings are aligned.

   • Lead regular client review meetings to discuss progress, gather feedback, and identify additional service opportunities.

   • Manage internal relationships to ensure what matters to clients is communicated internally using the proper channels, to allow for effective delivery by our Operations teams. 

   • Maintain good internal stakeholder relationships with our Operations teams to ensure high client demands are balanced with our processes and team capacity. 

2. Strategic Planning and Development

   • Collaborate with Senior Leaders to develop strategies for client retention and growth.

   • Work closely with the wider partnerships team to align on strategic objectives and ensure seamless service delivery across functions.

   • Participate in client and industry events to represent the organisation, expand networks, and identify new business opportunities.

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

   • Monitor client engagement, satisfaction levels, and service outcomes; produce regular progress reports for management.

   • Oversee tracking and analysis of client-related statistics to ensure targets are met and clients receive impactful, value-driven service.

   • Manage and track client data and prospect pipelines using CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

   • Report to SLT on accounts, Tenders, Bids, client meetings on a regular basis

   • Be curious to explore our Salesforce system data, understanding and interpreting delivery and impact data 

4. Team Management and Support Coordination

   • Lead, mentor, and manage junior members of the team focused on bid application writing, tender management, and client-related administration.

   • Support direct reports in producing and reviewing high-quality application documents and responses that align with client requirements and enhance our partnership outcomes.

   • Provide oversight to ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently, supporting smooth client interactions and consistent follow-through.

   • Work with other area leaders, such as our ‘Allocations’ and Recruitment teams to ensure we can fulfil referrals

   • Foster a strong working relationship between the Partnerships team and Recruitment, to ensure our application strategy is informed by tutor availability. 

5. Bid Management and Process Improvement

   • Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and bid applications, working closely with administrators to ensure high-quality and timely submissions.

   • Continuously review and improve internal processes to optimise bid management, client onboarding, and service delivery.

   • Report on bid submission performance, review client feedback to continuously improve. 

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Detailed knowledge of the UK Education Sector. 

• Experience working in the education sector or with local authorities, particularly in roles involving SEND or children’s services.

• Proven track record in client relationship management, with experience in sales or partnership development roles.

• Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face and telephone interactions, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-lasting relationships.

• Experience managing a small team, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high-performance standards.

• High level of empathy and commitment to supporting under-resourced and underserved communities.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet both short- and long-term deadlines effectively.

• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking client data, leads, and progress.

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to address issues independently and provide client-focused solutions.

• Able to work in a high pressure environment, whilst taking initiative, we would want the postholder to ask for support when needed.ed

Desirable:

• Exceptional written communication skills, with proven confidence in drafting, editing, and refining persuasive content across a variety of formats. Experience in bid and tender writing or grant applications is advantageous, though a background in producing compelling written materials for diverse purposes is equally valued.

The Online Product Lister (Known internally as eCommerce Online Sales Executive) plays a vital role in generating income for Scope to support disabled people and their families. A key part of this role is listing a variety of donated items for sale on Scope’s online selling channels.

The Online Product Lister is responsible for completing high quality listings through accurate photography and detailed descriptions.  The role will involve listing a variety of different products including home and garden, clothing and seasonal cards and items.  Product market research and price checking are also key responsibilities of this role.

As a Marketing Executive, you will be tasked with focusing on the following areas:

• Supporting Marketing Managers to deliver marketing campaigns, projects, and other fundraising activity.

Service delivery

• Lead the day-to-day management of Ella’s safe houses, and outreach services

• Ensure all caseworkers provide high-quality, holistic support tailored to each woman’s needs

• Ensure casework systems are used consistently and effectively across the team

• Oversee accurate and timely completion of risk assessments, support plans, and case notes

• Provide emotional support and hands-on casework guidance where needed

We're looking for a Senior Support coach to join our team which focus on supporting residents with OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) and related cognitive or behavioural challenges, many of whom have experienced institutional care or social exclusion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a mentor and lead for the team, providing advice and guidance, as well as providing specialist expertise to the team and residents.

At Habitat for Humanity’s upcycling initiative we take things and bring them into the workshop and give them a new lease of life.

Overview  

Habitat for Humanity GB (HFHGB) engages corporate volunteers in practical upcycling workshops as part of its social impact programme. These workshops involve the restoration or creation of furniture and home goods for people experiencing housing precarity. We are seeking an experienced freelance consultant to manage and deliver this programme on a flexible, per-project basis. 

Less than 2% of social housing actually comes with furniture. Our upcycling workshop aims to part-furnish these properties with high quality repaired and upcycled items and create opportunities for other households and communities experiencing economic hardship to furnish their own space.

We have strong support from the UK public, who are keen to make donations of furniture and materials, as well as support from the UK private sector. This project will combine these offers of support by enabling a creative workshop space where teams of volunteers can be supervised to upcycle donated items. Our upcycling project aims to furnish properties with high quality repaired and upcycled items and create opportunities for other households and communities experiencing economic hardship to furnish their own space. Upcycled furniture also goes to our Restore in Romford which is our Charity DIY shop and a community space for low-income households to purchase essential furniture items and access tailored DIY and construction information to help them make affordable improvements to their home.   

Scope of Services 

The consultant will be contracted to provide services under two categories: 

A. Workshop Delivery (Per Event Basis) 

• Lead upcycling workshops for groups of up to 15 volunteers 

• Demonstrate furniture painting, sanding, or assembly techniques 

• Provide safety briefings and facilitate an inclusive and engaging volunteer experience 

• Ensure venue is prepared (tools, PPE, materials) and tidied post-event 

• Capture basic event data (e.g., attendance, photos, testimonials) 

B. Planning & Admin (Hourly Basis) 

• Liaise with HFHGB staff to scope each workshop 

• Procure or prepare necessary materials (paint, wood, furniture) 

• Coordinate with donors and suppliers on logistics 

• Maintain inventory of workshop tools and supplies 

• Maintain inventory of food/refreshments e.g. water, milk, tea etc

• Support design of new upcycling activities for different skill levels 

Scope of Consultancy 

The Upcycling Programme Consultant will be engaged to deliver HFHGB’s Upcycling Workshops. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and supportive individual to fulfil this role. The ideal consultant will have experience working with individuals from a mixture of backgrounds and with different experience levels:

• Overseeing workshop delivery in line with agreed project scope, developing and managing a process to ensure that donated items of furniture are upcycled to a high quality and providing input into volunteer coordination and inductions as agreed. 

• We are looking for someone with the creativity and drive to grow the project and workshop outputs, and existing experience of furniture upcycling, such as varnishing, painting, knowledge of furniture restoration is essential as this is the focus of the existing work.

• There will be times where the Upcycling Programme Consultant will be required contribute to related activities if mutually agreed, such as meeting with various partners and helping with collections or deliveries.

Furniture Upcycling   

• To coordinate with a team of designated supervisors who will oversee day to day upcycling with Corporate Partners, e.g. volunteers. This includes involvement in appointment, oversight and assisting with necessary training for supervisors etc. 

• To develop creative and engaging ideas and processes about what to do with the furniture from start to finish.

• This includes identifying which pieces of furniture will be upcycled for each session, in what way they will be painted and finished and what products will be used. Ultimately creating a process for each piece which supervisors can use in the sessions as a guide for the day and with participants.

• To oversee the donation and collection of stock and materials from partners and donors, including liaising with Restore and procuring from local sources.

• To complete regular stock checks to ensure adequate stock of all items needed to creatively upcycle furniture in available including but not limited to paint, sandpaper, waxes, varnishes, and tools.

Programme Support Activities/Project Logistics and Liaison/Project Co-oridnation. 

• Act as the primary liaison for all Upcycling enquiries, working with suppliers, media and supporters as required. Representing Habitat at workshops, internal and external events with current and potential donors.

• Track and report on expenditure for the project, as agreed with Habitat for Humanity and the Director of Programme Delivery ensuring value for money and adherence to, and review of budget expectations. 

• Facilitate relevant meetings relating to the project, including setting agendas, writing, distributing, and following up on agreed actions.

• Co-ordinate with HFHGB staff to develop all marketing materials using all the charity’s communication channels. 

• Adhere to HFHGB health and safety procedures while on-site. 

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure all stakeholders have a positive experience of the project.

• Evaluate the success and impact of the project by monitoring pieces upcycled and diverted from landfill, and GIK (Gift in kind) donated to support the project, 

• Ensure all registration forms, health and safety and inductions forms are completed and saved according to GDPR practices.

• Ensure before and after photos of the furniture and volunteer involvement on the day is captured and downloaded onto the appropriate system.

• Provide information to ensure the Impact Team can prepare narrative and financial reports required by donors.

Consultant Profile 

The consultant is expected to have: 

• Demonstrable experience in furniture upcycling, including restoration, varnishing, and upholstery. 

• Experience working with volunteers in a workshop or creative environment. 

• Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver on time and within budget. 

• Confidence in liaising with donors, corporate volunteers, and suppliers 

• A current clean UK driving licence and access to transport 

• Experience coordinating creative workshops or similar hands-on activities

While the role will sit within the Chartered College of Teaching, the postholder will also receive mentoring from Professor Bill Lucas, Professor of Learning and Director of the Centre for Real-Life Learning at the University of Winchester, providing a rare opportunity to combine academically rigorous research with real-life application. As part of a project funded by the Comino Foundation, the Teaching and Assessment Research Specialist will help to increase teachers’ assessment literacy by managing a portfolio of assessment-themed online events, developing a suite of assessment-themed resources, co-ordinating the work of the Next Generation Assessment group and developing an overview of evidence-informed teaching and assessment strategies and how they link to intended student outcomes, based on a series of rapid evidence reviews.

Over the course of the assignment, you will support the Head of Research and Policy and work closely with the Research Lead and the Events and Engagement Manager to create and manage an engaging portfolio of online, assessment-themed events and resources.

This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone with proven expertise in and understanding of the links between evidence-informed teaching and assessment approaches and how they link to desired learning outcomes. You will:

• rapidly review evidence of assessment methods and pedagogies designed to cultivate knowledge, skills and dispositions of pupils, identifying gaps

As a Senior Employment Advisor, you will sit within the Employment & Careers team, supporting the direct delivery of our employment service by recruiting beneficiaries through outreach and supporting them to secure or progress in employment.

Reporting to Head of Employment & Careers you will be required to manage and support a varied and challenging caseload into employment by providing high quality information and guidance. You will be expected to conduct in-depth and comprehensive initial assessments in order to produce SMART and tailored action plans.

Your role will also require meaningful weekly contact with beneficiaries, conducting regular reviews of agreed actions and setting revised actions where applicable. It is imperative that you are able to demonstrate and encourage a positive mindset among beneficiaries by adopting a strengths based approach to their journey into employment.

As a Senior Employment Advisor, you will be expected to conduct employer engagement activity for the service, as well as support the delivery of job fairs and sector specific workshops. The role will also require you to ensure the service is at capacity levels by establishing and maintaining a network of referral partners and attending outreach events.

You will have at least 3 years of experience working in a similar post supporting disadvantaged groups back to work and/or training and education. You will have experience of working in an evidence-based practice and working to set targets. You will be equipped with influencing and persuasion skills.

You will also be responsible for conducting caseload reviews weekly/monthly and maintaining up to date beneficiary records on our internal systems.

You’ll maintain accurate records, manage income and expenditure across multiple platforms, support our Director of Finance and Operations with budget monitoring, and help ensure our processes are robust and efficient. • Financial Management and Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all income and expenditure, including reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, petty cash, and restricted funds.
• Process sales invoices, accounts receivable, and income from multiple platforms (Stripe, GoCardless, PayPal, Fundraise Up, etc.).
• Manage accounts payable including invoice approval workflows, payment runs, and supplier records.

• Reporting and Analysis

• Produce and circulate weekly budget holder reports, resolving any variances or queries.
• Support the Director of Finance and Operations with quarterly management accounts, budget monitoring, and preparation for year-end processes and audits.
• Assist with reconciliation of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, including prepayments, accruals, and deferred income.

• Gift Aid and Compliance

• Submit Gift Aid claims to HMRC and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with charity policy.
• Maintain and update restricted income records and allocation files, ensuring compliance with donor restrictions.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

• Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the main finance contact across departments, supporting budget holders with financial queries.
• Provide finance induction and support to new starters.
• Support the Fundraising and Family Support teams on event finance (cash handling, floats, expense processing, reconciliation).
• Confidently communicate with internal and external stakeholders including budget holders, suppliers, and auditors.

• Systems, Processes and Improvements

• Champion effective financial controls, help embed a culture of strong financial management, and continuously improve finance systems and processes.
• Ensure secure and well-organised storage of financial records, in line with retention policies.

Key Responsibilities

As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Project and administrative support:
  • Assisting the Project Manager with coordinating project logistics, including scheduling, booking spaces, and organising refreshments.
  • Updating project budgets and submitting invoices to the Bookkeeper.
  • Supporting the Project Manager in planning and delivering performances, exhibitions, and events.
  • Managing the materials inventory and sourcing environmentally friendly resources for workshops.
• Project promotion and participant engagement:
  • Helping to manage communication with participants and partners.
  • Assisting with volunteer coordination.
  • Supporting participant recruitment efforts for projects.
  • Helping to raise Magic Me’s profile by sharing images and stories for social media content.

• Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, pro rata.
• Holiday: 25 days and bank holidays (pro-rata) + days between Christmas & New Year. Additionally, we are trialling an additional week of leave during August 2024 and 2025, which may be offered in 2026 if successful.
