Your contribution to the team 

Your role as Project MEL and Grants Officer will be critical in achieving the goals of the Projects Team to deliver high-quality support in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), project and grant management to colleagues across the organisation. You will support the Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer to roll-out innovative approaches to how the organisation captures impact, shares success stories and learns from one another. You will support colleagues to understand compliance requirement of grants and to identify, assess and realign projects to ensure delivery against these requirements and project objectives. You will play a vital role to ensure the uptake and usability of our organisational grants and project management platform called PEBI (Project Ecosystem for Business Intelligence).

What you can expect in a typical day

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support project and organisational MEL 50%
• Support colleagues to design log frames, indicators and results framework for projects and how to align them with global indicators;
• Support colleagues to develop, improve and contextualise data collection and reporting tools and methodologies; 
• Participate in project start-up meetings and support colleagues to develop project M&E plans; 
• Plan and conduct internal reviews of key projects to support organisational learning and improvement of future projects; 
• Review data and information gathered either through systems (such as PEBI) or processes (such as Annual Reflection Process, cross-organisational meetings etc) to provide feedback to colleagues and feed into organisational learning; 
• Support the delivery of key learning and impact reporting products such as annual reports, internal review reports, quarterly management/progress reports; 
• Keep up to date with best practices in regards to MEL in order to provide recommendations on how organisational MEL systems and processes can be improved. 
 

Management of project management system (PEBI) 25%

 • Support PEBI champions to motivate their users to regularly update data in the system PEBI, enabling and facilitating the optimal use of the platform;
• Provide initial technical support to champions on issues with the system, in consultation with the Projects Team and escalate as necessary;
• Help to identify ways the system can be continuously improved and fully used;
• Maintain the user guide to PEBI and train new champions or support champions to onboard new users;
• Be the administrative lead for the system maintaining user access within the organisation and liaise with external consultants;
• Coordinate and lead regular meetings with champions across the network to update, discuss issues and best practice and share lessons learned;

Support contract management and project management function 20%

• Provide support to teams with regards to donor or other stakeholders contract management for the implementation of projects; 
• Review and maintain an up-to-date centralised grants filing system; 
• Where necessary, support colleagues to review and amend project documents such as plans and contracts to ensure delivery against project objectives and donor requirements;

Team support 5%
• Ensure the organisation is aware of what the projects team are working on, leading on drafting internal communications and coordinating check-ins with other teams to have a steady flow of information; 
• Undertake other tasks as are appropriate to the nature and scope of the post.

What you will bring to the role

Knowledge and Skills:

Essential
• Full understanding of grant management, project implementation tools and procedures; 
• Project MEL including designing MEL plan, data collection tools and indicators; 
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to relate with diverse people from different cultures; 
• Strong organisation, time management, communication and coordination skills;

Experience:

• Relevant experience in supporting a team; 
• Experience working with donors, particularly EC, DRL, SIDA; 
• At least 2 years of work experience in project support functions including donor compliance, project management and MEL.

The Role

Reporting into our Customer and Neighbourhood Director, you'll be responsible for the development of strategies, policies and procedures relating to all tenancy sustainment activities. Being a specialist in this field, you'll also scan the horizon to identify potential significant changes in external policy and financial landscape, introducing best practice from other organisations and sectors.

You'll be the main point of contact internally for all matters relating to tenancy sustainment, working collaboratively across the business to ensure that consistent best practices are embedded within Locality teams and the wider business. Externally, you'll represent SNG and our commitment and vision in tenancy sustainment – influencing and working alongside key external stakeholders and delivery partners, building relationships aligned to our corporate and customer strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to provide and source expert advice, and manage the development of services, to ensure SNG meets its commitments, monitors its performance and evidences its delivery relating to regulatory obligations, changing regulations, guidance and best practice
• Developing and leading a stakeholder management plan across local, regional and national government bodies responsible for the delivery to specialist areas
• Piloting partnerships with other services to enhance the provision of support to SNG's customers and developing funding solutions to provide support to core budgets
• Managing large complex annual budgets, ensuring appropriate monitoring of expenditure and compliance with procedures and levels of approval
• Ensuring that the appropriate training and development programs for Locality teams are in place across a range of areas, including domestic abuse, safeguarding and ASB
• Leading on all strategic and operational elements of service development across localities; proactively involving customers through engagement and scrutiny, to help shape and facilitate the co-creation of the service as required  
• Articulating a clear vision, providing direction, and promoting a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement

What we need from you

Ideally you should have previous experience in a similar senior role, with strong experience and knowledge of the latest requirements for housing providers across tenancy sustainment.  You'll also need:

• Excellent demonstrable knowledge of programme development and performance improvement in a customer focussed environment
• Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value for money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risks
• Evidence of delivering on innovative concepts, utilising future changes in policy to support flexibility in a responsive organisation
• Experience of promoting an organisation at a regional and national level to raise the profile of the business
• Ability to inspire, support and develop others to optimise their performance
• Track record of meeting deadlines and working effectively with others in a complex and dynamic environment

Funding Officer – Thematic and missions focused aligned to It starts with Community

We’re looking for four Funding Officers to support a range of initiatives across England. These are 12-month fixed term contracts.

Role Purpose

About the role

The Role

An experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant is sought to provide proactive support to three members of the senior Leadership Team. This is a critical role that will enable the Directors to focus on strategic priorities by ensuring efficient and seamless operational support. The post-holder will be confident working across multiple diaries and systems and able to build trust quickly with colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include diary and inbox management, meeting coordination, document drafting, travel arrangements and general executive support. The role will also involve acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling correspondence with discretion and professionalism. There will also be opportunities to support wider team operations and assist the Executive Assistant as needed.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will bring prior experience in a Personal Assistant role supporting multiple senior leaders. You will be highly organised, calm under pressure and adept at managing competing demands. Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside excellent attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential matters, are essential.

You will be confident using Microsoft Office, diary and inbox management tools, and supporting hybrid meetings via platforms such as Zoom or Teams. The ability to work independently, use initiative, and demonstrate sound judgement is key. Experience in the non-profit or charity sector, and familiarity with tools like Salesforce or Cascade, would be advantageous but not essential.

Role requirements

• Significant fundraising management experience in Asia with demonstrable experience of securing five and six figure, and multi year gifts  
• Experience in multiple elements of fundraising including identifying and building supporter bases in new geographies and working with different types of fundraising teams (e.g. philanthropic/HNWIs, trusts and foundations)
• Experience of working in a global team, working across multiple time zones and understanding / experience of working in a matrix style

FTWW is looking for a full-time Volunteer and Community Coordinator! The successful candidate will strengthen community activity by engaging with external stakeholders and members of the public, increasing our reach and volunteer numbers. They will ensure that volunteers are supported and equipped to participate in a wide range of activities, both in-person and online.

The role is full-time home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in facilitating an online coproduction event one day and speaking at the Senedd the next so excellent communication skills are a must. We currently have over 90 registered volunteers and a key part of the role will be to develop our volunteer programme.  As a small team, you will also support our part-time Engagement Coordinator, so there will be plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your creative skills too.

The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable. We may also consider part time hours, or a job share for the right candidates. Please note in your application if this applies to you.

About the role

In this exciting role, you will be a critical member of our influencing team, helping to bring the voice of people living with arthritis right into the heart of Westminster. Working with the Public Affairs team, you will help to deliver the charity’s public affairs activities, building a strong profile with decision-makers to ensure our messages and policy priorities are front and centre of their thoughts.

You will support the delivery of exciting and engaging influencing strategies, working with colleagues to combine policy, public affairs, campaigning, media and social media in order to influence policy change.  You will also play a key role in organising and delivering the charity’s activities at Parliamentary events and political party conferences.

• Strong communicator to help build external relationships with politicians, civil servants and other decision-makers, coupled with good understanding of the Westminster Parliamentary process, UK Government and the wider influencing environment to produce engaging materials and organise events.

• Proven ability of monitoring and analysis of the external policy, political and Parliamentary landscape across the UK nations, alerting breaking news and important developments.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Support coach to join our team which focus on supporting residents with OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) and related cognitive or behavioural challenges, many of whom have experienced institutional care or social exclusion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a mentor and lead for the team, providing advice and guidance, as well as providing specialist expertise to the team and residents. 

You will further deliver one-to-one support with residents directly, developing personalised support plans, risk assessments, facilitating life skills sessions, and help individuals access services, resources, and opportunities within the community. Our support is tailored towards providing person centred support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and independent living. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, flexible, inclusive, and psychologically informed environment that promotes dignity, choice, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities further Include:

• Delivering effective 1:1 and group-based support for residents/participants in line with support plans
• Providing specialist advice and guidance to the team and residents
• Acting as the first point of contact in the absence of management
• Supporting property management tasks including reporting repairs, monitoring health & safety, and maintaining high accommodation standards
• Supporting residents to access relevant networks, training, life skills, and community resources
• Promoting resident participation in the design and running of service activities
• Working flexibly to meet the needs of the service and taking part in continuous improvement initiatives

About You

We're looking for someone who has knowledge and understanding of Offender Personality Disorder, able to share this with others and act as a mentor to resolving complex cases. You'll bring experience within a similar environment to the role, and have experience in supporting similar residents with areas of social care, supported housing, and community support. You will have a commitment to person-centred support and have an understanding of the importance of trauma-informed care, able to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities

Oversight of the Spear Programme

• As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work
• Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach
• Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Establish the primary local referral agencies and steward relationships with these, overseeing and building a strategy to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective
• Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network

Line Management and training

• Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development
• Be line managed by Resurgo on Spear Programme performance and ongoing operations of the centre, and report back on KPIs

Church Community

• The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
• You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members and help the Spear Coach to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme
• Ensure the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services

Site management 

• Work with the Church to coordinate the training room and any infrastructure needs for the Spear Centre
• Liaise with relevant staff locally on-site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies
