Our location

About the role
We are launching the 2025-2026 Macmillan Clinical Fellowship programme. This is an exciting new programme, key in the implementation of our new ambitious 2025-2030 strategy.

The Older People Clinical Fellow will be part of the Centre of Clinical Expertise and a member of the Cancer and Other Long Term Conditions Core Strategic group. The role will bring insight, expertise and the opportunity to collaborate to seek solutions, best practice and innovation. Job Purpose

The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Key Responsibilities

Programme and Network Delivery:

- Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.

About the role

This is a new role created at IRMO to strengthen how we measure, understand and communicate our impact. It sits at the heart of a learning-focused, community-led organisation working for migrant rights and social justice. We are open to hiring at either Officer or Lead level, depending on the experience and skills of the successful candidate.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) who can take the lead in reviewing our current MEL systems and practices, identifying what’s working well and where there’s room for improvement. You’ll help embed more consistent, robust approaches to evidence and learning across the organisation, with the aim of improving the quality of our services and better demonstrating our impact to funders, partners and the community.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with the primary goal of strengthening our MEL systems, tools and capacity. There may be potential to extend the contract, depending on organisational needs and funding.

You’ll work closely with Programme Managers to ensure that data is collected, analysed and used in ways that are meaningful and accessible — not only to meet funder requirements, but to improve how we work and support our community. You’ll also support reporting processes and help build capacity across the team around MEL tools and approaches.

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. The purpose of this role is to build and manage Khulisa's high-impact partnerships with schools, communities, and corporates that generate income and expand the reach of our therapeutic programmes. This includes, but is not limited to:

Trusts and Grants Fundraising - Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Research and identify new trust and foundation prospects.
• Draft and submit high-quality funding applications and reports.
• Maintain a calendar of deadlines and stewardship activities.
• Record and track pledges, donations, and grant income.
• Ensure that all reporting is completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with the Education and Operations teams to ensure they have all the information they need to deliver work related to restricted funding.

Fundraising Administration

• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and ensure data integrity.
• Reconcile income records with the finance team.
• Process donations and Gift Aid claims.
• Support income tracking and reporting.

Supporter Care

• Ensure timely and appropriate donor thanking.
• Respond to supporter queries via email and phone when needed.
• Assist with donor communications and stewardship planning.
• Working with the Comms and Operations Teams to assist with fundraising marketing, website and social media content.
• Working to consolidate and grow our group of recurring donors.
• Support with processing payments and donations online, in-person and over the phone, depositing cheques and cash donations.
• Help manage the stewardship calendar for major donors throughout the year.

Events Support

• Help coordinate logistics and communications for fundraising events.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (the Award) is a Non-Formal Education and Learning framework encouraging young people to find their purpose, place and passion in the world.

Through the programme, each young person becomes part of something special while developing their own interests, universal skills and life aspirations.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation is the international charity that drives and encourages the Award’s growth, access and impact across the globe. Working in partnership with organisations and governing bodies, we oversee the licensing of Award operators – including schools, youth groups, employers and custodial institutions. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world’s most respected youth charities, building
and deepening relationships with an established, high-level network of generous and engaged donors
who are passionate about our mission. You will help steward their continued support while also
introducing new philanthropists to the life-changing impact of the Award around the world.

Working closely with the Head of World Fellowship and Philanthropy, you will nurture and expand a global donor community, encouraging existing supporters to open their networks, and helping new donors feel part of a mission to empower and invest in young people. Given our work with an international network of supporters, a candidate interested in the international philanthropy space or with direct experience working with global philanthropists would be particularly well suited for this role.

It is envisaged that this role will be an even split between relationship-building and new donor
acquisition. We are fortunate to work with a network of thoughtful, values-driven supporters who are
genuinely engaged in our mission.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment of donors

• Identify, vet, select and approach suitable donors at all levels, working in close collaboration with the Chair of World Fellowship, and other key ‘introducers’ .
• Promote and grow the Foundation’s Legacy fundraising programme, identifying and planning approaches to prospective legacy donors and supporting approaches to third party introducers.
• Develop and recruit lapsed donors to the World Fellowship.
• Write and submit proposals to donors to secure gifts.

Donor relationships

• Develop and deliver the Foundation’s ‘Fellowship’ programme; meeting the needs of different levels of engagement and promoting progression through different donor levels.
• Develop and maintain a robust framework for management of donor relationships
• Conduct and review due diligence of prospective and existing supporters.
• Undertake any other duties as required to support the successful delivery of Fundraising and Foundation objectives.

Project Management
Lead and prepare publications and relevant communications for all donors and supporters.
Be the Philanthropy team lead for specific events, overseeing the donor journey and financial
targets associated with the event.

The Legacy Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of the charity’s Legacy programme, working closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies to raise awareness of Gifts in Wills, reach new audiences and develop supporter journeys.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Developing and delivering innovative multi-channel legacy marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, TV, direct mail, and more)
• Shaping the supporter journey, inspiring new pledgers and stewarding existing supporters
• Managing a budget, setting KPIs, and analysing performance to refine and expand the charity’s legacy programme
• Leading and developing a small, dedicated team
• Collaborating with internal and external partners including digital, communications, creative agencies, and data teams

• Proven ability to plan and deliver impactful legacy marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
• Skilled in using data and insights to identify and engage potential legacy supporters.
• Experience developing supporter journeys that inspire pledges and build lasting relationships.
• Confident creating or commissioning compelling legacy-focused content with emotional resonance.
• Strong grasp of GDPR and fundraising regulations relevant to legacy communications.
• Demonstrated line management and team leadership skills, with a focus on development and motivation.

An exciting position has arisen for a Head of Finance to join an excellent Community Foundation on a permanent basis. The postholder will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be part of the executive team, leading a team of 7.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and improve the Trust’s finance function and provide accurate, timely and relevant financial reports as required by the CEO
• Be the Executive Lead of the Finance Audit and Risk Committee, ensuring timely papers to the CEO and to the Committee and Board as required
• Ensure the provision and reporting of financial accounts, forecasting and large-scale project/programme budgets
• Oversight of the legal and financial statutory processes in line with the Charity Commission and Companies House requirements, including the annual audit

Successful candidate profile:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Significant track record in a Head of Finance / FD role for a Charity
• Experience of implementing enhanced reporting tools
• Experience of cost-effective procurement in line with policy
• Extensive staff management experience

Salary: up to £80,000 per annum + excellent benefits
