The role of Retail Development Manager is crucial to the income growth and audience reach of The Children’s Trust retail function. The postholder will be responsible for researching, developing and establishing new income streams to reach new audiences and drive footfall for a disperse network of charity shops, including establishing the online selling of donated and bought in (New) goods; management of online and digital selling platforms and associated stakeholders, ensuring that all compliance requirements are fulfilled.
The role will work collaboratively as part of the Retail Management Team to develop and deliver long-term growth plans to drive voluntary income growth and increase footfall and to lead on new business initiatives.
Role Requirements
- Research opportunities to recommend, test and rollout new online and digital selling platforms. Introduce associated systems and processes to achieve compliance.
- Working with the Retail Sales Manager, identify and source donated product lines and items for listing and selling through online and digital selling platforms. Share learnings to source quality stock to drive sales.
- Create a new online offer to complement and integrate within our existing retail portfolio of shops across Surrey, Sussex and Kent. Develop processes to manage online and digital selling: inventory, listing, pick, pack and despatch of online stock, including organising the logistics for deliveries to customers and collections to meet both shops and customer requirements.
- Manage the development and optimisation of online and digital selling platforms and make recommendations for rapid growth and new business proposals.
- Work with the Retail Sales Manager and Marketing and Communications team to create assets and content that can be used in store, online, through owned channels to maximise opportunities, sales promotions and seasonal changes across the chain of shops.
- Research and implement efficiencies in reducing waste disposal costs for shops estate including items no longer purchased through Rag merchants.
- Research and recommend new income streams for the sale of unsold donated items to mitigate low return through Rag merchants.
- Manage full compliance of the Children’s Trust online and digital selling platforms in line with all Health & Safety legislation, Fire safety, Trading Standards, Retail Gift Aid, GDPR, ThankQ CRM, Risk Assessments, Safeguarding and all other legal or statutory requirements.
- Develop and manage risk assessments and associated online selling policy protocols to prevent reputational damage to The Children’s Trust through digital and online trading activities.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships including supplier contracts, internal support teams, ensuring that efficient and compliant services are maintained.
- Working with Marketing and Communications and Supporter Care colleagues to ensure that the retail supporter journey is optimised and relationships are managed holistically.r

Job Purpose
The role of the central charity is to facilitate member support and the successful operation of the charity, lead strategic projects that work to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the global movement and to support the delivery of impactful work in communities that meet our aims.
Like many membership organisations, we need to focus on turning membership decline into membership growth. This role evolved from and is an integral part of the “Reimagining MU” project, where we looked at opportunities to secure the future of the movement.
The post holder will work directly with members and across the charity leading campaigns and programmes that help and support the communities in which we serve, drive membership growth, increase valued engagement and income opportunities, promote Mothers’ Union within the Anglican Church, and build effective relationships with external partners and organisations.
This role will lead the implementation of a suite of existing and new Britain and Ireland programmes which include domestic abuse, social justice, and family issues. Also, to look at new programmes and to manage continual programme reviews. These Mothers’ Union National Programmes are being adopted as best practice frameworks for successful community outreach projects by members in the communities in which we serve. It is envisioned that in resourcing and standardising existing work, these robust programmes will serve as vehicles for volunteer and member recruitment in dioceses in Britain and Ireland and be able to secure strategic partners and external funders to support our work.
Main responsibilities
Programme Development, Implementation and Review – Britain and Ireland
1. Work with the Director of Membership on the continued development, implementation and review of a member-informed national suite of Mothers’ Union programmes.
2. Research, review and develop new member resources, packs, and policies and manage access.
3. Work with the wider Membership team on the design, implementation, and delivery of new membership growth models.
4. Work with the Communications team on campaigns and programme branding and promotion.
5. Procure and manage relationships with programme strategic partners and funders.
Membership Engagement and Support
1. Manage relevant Communities of Interest (representative membership groups) for the different programmes.
2. Contribute campaign materials, articles, written printed and web content as required.
3. Support the membership by overseeing programme enquiries, and delivering resources, communications, webinars, podcasts, and events as required.
4. Working with the Membership Engagement Manager to ensure membership growth is reflected in the programme frameworks as an intended outcome.
5. Working with the Director of Membership and the wider membership team to deliver annual and regional events and conferences including the Annual Gathering, Provincial meetings, networking, and celebratory events.
General
- To manage existing national programmes; and to successfully framework and resource new MU campaigns and community outreach work into standardised, resourced and branded national programmes that are adopted and utilised by members and attract strategic partners to enhance successful outputs and increased income for the charity.

This is a great opportunity to gain first-hand experience working within a national professional body and support CoSRH’s external influencing, policy, and communications work at a critical time for the organisation.
The role:
Working closely with colleagues across the team, the postholder will provide essential support to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health (APPG on SRH), contribute to the delivery of the ambitions of the CoSRH Hatfield Vision, and assist with a range of media, communications, and policy activities.
The External Affairs Assistant will be an integral part of a small but high-performing team that leads CoSRH’s advocacy and public profile — influencing national policy, supporting stakeholder engagement, and amplifying the voice of sexual and reproductive healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Parliamentary and Policy Support
· Support the work of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health (APPG on SRH), including preparing briefings, arranging meetings, drafting minutes and supporting stakeholder engagement.
· Assist in drafting policy briefings, consultation responses, and submissions to Government and other stakeholders.
· Conduct research to inform CoSRH’s external engagement, campaigns and influencing priorities.
· Develop a knowledge of key policy developments within the fields of Sexual and Reproductive Health, including across all four UK nations.
· Maintain and update contact databases and stakeholder lists.
Media and Communications Support
· Draft CoSRH member and Hatfield Vision Endorser newsletter content in line with CoSRH’s communications strategy.
· Support the Media and Communications Manager in preparing and disseminating press releases, statements, and campaign materials.
· Help monitor media coverage and track engagement across CoSRH’s channels.
· Track and analyse media coverage of women’s health and SRH to identify emerging stories, trends, and opportunities for engagement.
· Take responsibility for growing the College’s Bluesky account with the support of the Membership Engagement Team.
Programme and Project Support
· Contribute to the work of the Hatfield Vision Taskforce, including supporting meetings, and helping to communicate outputs.
· Provide logistical and administrative support for external meetings, events, and stakeholder activities.
· Assist in maintaining the team’s planning tools, trackers, and shared systems to ensure smooth coordination.
General Administrative Support
· Provide administrative support to the External Affairs team, including diary coordination, minute-taking and meeting preparation as required.

The role is to support the Head of Fundraising Volunteering and Communications to achieve the overarching fundraising strategy, maximising opportunities for income generation as well as strategic aims for SIFA Fireside.
As part of a small team, the post holder will be responsible for managing all supporter and donation information on the fundraising database, regularly importing payment data from a range of sources and leading on the monthly reconciliation process. 12. Monitoring the fundraising inbox and distributing supporter communications via email and MailChimp, while managing supporter contact consent and updating SIFA Fireside’s mailing list.
13. Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the fundraising regulator and GDPR and always working within charity legislation and best practice.

This exciting (maternity cover) role is key to encouraging young adults aged 18-30 to join our Interserve community, by harnessing digital tools and platforms and through in-person connections. We are looking for a confident and creative communicator with a shared passion for mission, as well as at least 2 years relevant experience of an engagement or communications role.
You will have experience in managing social media channels and working with a Word Press website, using Canva to create digital media and webtools to reach young audiences. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organised with good time management and a high level of accuracy in your writing.
The role includes;

Creating and implementing campaigns to help Interserve engage young adults with Christian mission,

Co-ordinating initiatives to grow 18-30s engagement with Interserve’s social media channels and activity,

Promoting, organising and attending in-person Christian events designed to grow engagement of young adults in mission.
This is a busy but rewarding environment, which offers an excellent opportunity to become involved in and develop a range of communications skills and experience in a small friendly team in a mission organisation context.
The role is hybrid, with a mix of time spent in our Birmingham National Office (minimum of 2 days per week) and working from home, with up to 5 days per month of national travel. The salary is £23,586 for 4 days per week (£29,483 FTE). It is a maternity cover role for one year.

We’re looking for an organised, detail-focused leader to run our winter night shelter across multiple church venues. You’ll coordinate and support volunteers and our Resettlement Worker, ensuring the shelter runs smoothly, safely, and with Christ at the centre of all activities.
