At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We work alongside young people seeking safety in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people’s rights and power.
Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people.
The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.
You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. An excellent communicator and skilled at working with partners, you will be key in the implementation and running all of our weekly youth activities, including a Youth Club and Advice and Support Hub working closely with the Youth Development Worker and having oversight of our weekly Young Women’s group.
As an experienced manager, you will lead our team of skilled youth workers, working alongside the Brent team to provide holistic support to young asylum seekers and refugees in Brent.
You will prioritise the participation of young people in all activities, ensuring excellent safeguarding by following our policy and protocols, and ensure that we collect excellent data for monitoring and evaluation and to aid our future planning. You will also assist with staff and volunteer recruitment and reporting to our funding partners.
The Youth Development Coordinator will hold a Designated Safeguarding Officer role at Young Roots for which they will receive full training.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supporter Care Assistant to join the Fundraising Team .Your role is to be responsible for delivering excellent service to The Children's Trust’s supporters.

Role Requirements

We achieve this by building and running cinemas in hospitals and places of care equipped with space for beds, wheelchairs and medical equipment, and providing free films and activities for patients of all ages. Our services help to improve emotional, mental and physical health, reducing isolation, anxiety and stress, and increasing patient resilience to help them cope with what they’re going through.
The Role
We are looking for an Operations and Finance Coordinator to join our small but growing central office team. The post-holder will work closely with the Operations Manager, Head of Finance and Head of Impact & Service Delivery to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth-running of the charity, our impact and our service delivery.
This position would suit someone who is passionate, organised, and has an interest in film, healthcare and helping to improve people’s wellbeing.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Service Support
- Support the Operations Manager with managing film delivery to all our sites, including monitoring of KDMs and DCPs
- Support cinema sites by ensuring all our in-hospital marketing materials are up-to date and accurate, including:
- Create monthly posters for all sites, and other ad-hoc posters
- Create info cards about upcoming films
- Update the film information on our Showtimes page of our website
- Updating digital entrance screens
- Ordering physical posters and standees from film distributors
- Support on developing any new initiatives to promote our services in hospitals
- Deputising for the Operations Manager when required, including occasionally covering out-of-hours emergencies
Impact and Evaluation
- Support with the management and upkeep of our Impact data management system Smartsheets to ensure it is accurate and as up-to-date as possible. Specific tasks to include, but not limited to:
- Check for data errors each morning and follow up accordingly to resolve any issues
- Uploading Serennu Children’s Centre data
- Uploading new nurse and volunteer data
- Inputting film list and BBFC info up-to-date each month
- Migrating other data as and when required
- Support with the collection, inputting, organising and analysis of service delivery questionnaires, Thank You feedback cards and other service evaluation and research projects
- Support the Head of Impact and Service Design with the collection and management of case studies
Event/Screening support, including Disney Partnership
- Support the co-ordination and management of special screenings, events and Disney MTM projects. Including planning, managing orders/deliveries, attending events and assisting with consent form collection
- Support with post-event tasks, such as accurate organisation and storage of photography/media, collecting and collating relevant feedback, and follow-up emails
- Operate projection equipment and run screenings (training will be provided), in case of emergencies, holiday cover, special events and supporter/fundraiser visits
- Brainstorming with the team about any potential future ‘Beyond the Big Screen’ and Disney ‘Moment that Matter’ ideas and initiatives
Finance support
- Checking, processing and preparing payment of nurses’ invoices
- Checking and processing all other supplier invoices

- Preparation of monthly credit card and other expenditure analysis

Administration and other duties

The Junior Salesforce Administrator role supports the effective use and ongoing development of the Churchill Fellowship’s Salesforce CRM platform and related applications. Salesforce Administration and Support:

Role Summary
An exciting opportunity to join Into Film and lead on the production of all audio-visual content for the UK’s foremost film education charity. Overseeing an in-house production team of six, the Production Lead will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to identify, develop and deliver an exciting and wide range of content for classroom resources, social media channels and the Into Film website.
The role is initially available for a fixed term through to 31st March 2026, but may become permanent pending continuation of funding.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Joint Heads of Programme and Head of Marcomms to identify audio visual requirements in support of the Into Film strategy, including income generation.
- Lead on planning and allocation of work for a team of six, supporting on and leading projects as required.
- Oversee departmental production budget, and budget from commissioning departments, ensuring that expenditure is planned, tracked and evaluated.
- Plan for and manage freelancers in support of production activity as required.
- Manage Production Team, identifying where support, training and development are required to ensure a flexible approach to producing a diverse range of audio-visual content.
- Ensure that statutory regulations in the provision of film and media content are complied with (safeguarding and child protection, GDPR etc.).
- Ensure that all audio-visual content is legally compliant and rights are cleared for use on specified channels.

About the Role

· Help reduce social isolation and loneliness among veterans.
· We support ill or injured men and women to have a safe place to call home, a home that meets their specific needs.
· We fund youth services on stations to provide clubs and activities for the children of serving personnel who move every few years.
· We provide grants to help with the cost of living. But this is just a few of the ways we help.
We are seeking an individual to join the RAF Benevolent Fund’s Digital Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Officer. The role requires the individual to contribute to the planning process for the Funds paid and organic social media channels, PPC, SEO, website management and email marketing programme, contribute to managing external agencies, meeting income targets, monitoring and reporting on results. The role also requires an excellent understanding of current and emerging technology, particularly in relation to social media and email marketing.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the digital marketing space and a busy marketing and communications environment.
The role will be office based at our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Basic DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

The role
The role of Executive Assistant is needed to provide high-quality executive support to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team. This role will oversee complex diary coordination and management, stakeholder support and communications, event planning, database management and administration for the Board of Trustees.
You’ll provide an expert administrative and coordination service to the CEO, liaising with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally. You’ll work reactively in response to changing priorities, as well as proactively, identifying ways to streamline communications, activities and engagements. You’ll be familiar with correspondence priorities, methods and composition, so that in the absence of the CEO, you can keep things moving and ensure that key stakeholders are attended to.
You’ll have a strong personal assistance and administrative background, preferably in the charity sector. You’ll be confident in juggling multiple workstreams and communicating with all levels of stakeholders. You’ll be patient, understanding and an attentive team player.
This role will be predominantly remote, however, some occasional travel to our London office (Vauxhall) will be required.

As the Digital Marketing Officer, you will be an integral part of our communications team, responsible for the day to day running of our social media channels and website content, and support on email engagement and paid acquisition.
In the role of Digital Marketing Officer, you will work together with the Digital Engagement Manager to plan, create and schedule content, and use data and analytics to consistently optimise performance, drive engagement and grow our channels. Scope of the Digital Marketing Officer's role
- Social media and community management - Manages daily activity across social channels, creates content, engages with followers, and supports paid campaigns.
- Content creation and digital design - Designs digital assets and writes copy for social, web, and campaigns, ensuring content is on brand and engaging.
- Email marketing - Supports the creation and delivery of email campaigns, including copy, design with the aim of enhancing audience engagement.
- Website management - Support the day-to-day management of Ovarian Cancer Action’s website.
- Wider communications support - Contributes to campaigns, events, and content planning across all of our functional teams.
We’re looking for someone who………….
