We are in the early stages of implementing our 10-year organisational strategy, ARUK: Towards a Cure. Sitting within the Chief Executive’s Office and reporting to the Project and Programme Manager, the Project Officer supports the scoping, planning, and delivery of strategic, cross-team projects and programmes. The post holder also supports the Project and Programme Manager in embedding project management best practice across the wider organisation.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Project Management
· Deliver key, strategic projects, as determined by the yearly Operational Planning process, working with project teams to develop flexible project plans that can adapt to change.
· Manage project risks, decisions, and dependencies, liaise with third parties, and monitor project progress, ensuring stakeholders are updated at key checkpoints.
· Lead project reviews to capture successes and learnings and ensure project outcomes are embedded into BAU.
· Support the Project and Programme Manager and Head of Programme Management on other ongoing projects and programmes as and when required.
Promotion of project management best practice
· Maintain ownership of the Projects team intranet pages and project management resources, for use by colleagues across the organisation.
· Provide tailored project management consultations to empower colleagues to deliver their own in-team projects.
· Support the Project and Programme Manager on delivering the ARUK Project Management Masterclass.
What we are looking for:
· Experience managing projects, including allocating tasks and managing risks, decisions, and changes.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

World Land Trust
Summary
World Land Trust (WLT) is at the forefront of international conservation efforts through our programme of land purchase and land acquisition in collaboration with our international partners, including the development of carbon and other payments for ecosystem services projects. Who we’re looking for
We are looking for applicants with an excellent knowledge of spatial and ecological data analyses, and monitoring and GIS will be essential for this role. Administration:

About First Give
First Give inspires young people to make a difference to the causes they care about. We do this through working in partnership with secondary schools, providing a fully resourced scheme of work that guides an entire year group of students to engage with local charities and causes and then carry out social action (fundraising, raising awareness, campaigning, volunteering etc) in support of them.
At the end of each programme, a celebratory School Final is held at each school, where groups representing each class deliver presentations about their projects. The class considered to have engaged the best with the programme secures a First Give grant of £1,000 for their chosen charity. Programme Delivery Officer role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of the First Give programme in up 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, plus providing guidance and troubleshooting for the lead teachers at First Give partner schools.
The role will be hybrid, with 3 days a week in our main offices in West Hampstead, London. Regular travel to schools across London and the South East will be required.

Key responsibilities
- Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:
- an introductory Programme Call with the Lead teacher;
- delivering a briefing to class teachers;
- troubleshooting via phone and email;
- booking in First Give facilitated sessions
- Ensure all programmes are delivering all core elements of the First Give programme
- Update and monitor Salesforce to track programme delivery
- Liaise with freelance facilitators to ensure events at schools are effectively staffed
- Deliver Launch Assemblies, Workshops and First Give Finals in partner schools

About the role
A new and exciting opportunity to work with us across the England North region supporting our Liveable Cities and Towns and Paths for Everyone programmes, to encourage walking, wheeling and cycling to new and different users.
As a Project Officer, you will organise and deliver engagement activities with local community groups, community leaders, businesses, schools and volunteers on our community led infrastructure and National Cycle Network projects.
You will work with diverse groups within the community who may not currently use the National Cycle Network and enable them to use and look after their local route.
Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected across the region.

This role will work closely with the Head of Support Services supporting our volunteers and wider community through a range of services and events.
You’ll work with our incredible volunteers to support others living with conditions and raise awareness and understanding of our work. You will recruit and support people to engage in volunteering in the way that best suits them.

Role Description
Volunteers
o Working with the CEO and Head of Support Services develop and deliver the Volunteering Strategy for the organisation.
o Work to significantly increase the inclusivity of volunteers and the work done by volunteers.
o Oversee the recruitment of volunteers and ensure appropriate induction in collaboration with relevant staff.
o Deliver mandatory initial and ongoing training for volunteers.
o Working with colleagues, produce and keep up-to-date policies, processes and forms, ensuring volunteers understand and use these resources.
o Provide day-to-day support to volunteers, working closely with the Head of Support Services.
o Manage all volunteer programme communications in collaboration with the Communications Officer including: ebulletins, website, social media and print materials.
o Collect and process feedback and statistics and compile reports on satisfaction and effectiveness as required.
o Provide specific support for volunteering roles including;
Helpline and Telephone Buddies
o Support the transition of the helpline to a new scheme such as our telephone buddy scheme
o Support and review the telephone buddy scheme
o In conjunction with the Head of Support Services, support the implementation and ongoing management of a new Facebook support group
o Collate statistics on helpline calls and report on this monthly.
Local Support Groups
o Support the establishment of online condition specific and new regional groups.
o Undertake visits to Local Support Groups as appropriate.
o Working with the Finance and Operations Manager support the groups to use funds they have raised.
Other Volunteers
o Support Office volunteers in their day to day work, being the first point of contact and allocating tasks.
o Working with the Head of Support Services contribute to the development of the Lived Experience Committee.
o Working with the Head of Fundraising support and engage Ambassador and Fundraising volunteers.
Support Service Coordination
o Ensure the CRM system is up to date with all Support Services information.
o Ensure all statistics relating to Support Services are up to date.
o Ensure Support Services’ phone systems and booked calls are effectively and efficiently set up.
o Ensure accurate record of all research and surveys we are asked to engage in and follow up on outcomes of that research.
o Undertake any small administrative duties as required.
o Where required, provide support in managing the helpline emails.
Support Services Events
o Lead on the development and delivery of three one day conference style events annually. These will be held throughout the UK and will offer panel discussions and networking for our community.
o In partnership with the wider team, occasionally represent The Foundation by running information stands, coordinating volunteers and preparing information for external events such as industry conferences.
o Where appropriate attend and present at external meetings.
o Support the management and delivery of the portfolio of online and in person events delivered by the Pituitary Foundation in conjunction with the wider team.

What the job involves
This is an exciting new role in Prostate Cancer UK’s Health Information and Clinical Support team. The team delivers a wide range of high-quality services directly to anyone affected by prostate cancer or prostate disease, as well as supporting a range of activity charity-wide that requires clinical expertise.
Many men, and their friends and family, don’t know the risk factors of prostate cancer – and when they do, they don’t know what to do next. We want a world where every man over 45 in the UK understands their risk of prostate cancer and has the tools and information to navigate it. Our online risk checker is a good place to start, but this role will be a crucial additional source of information for men and their loved ones.
As a Risk Information Officer, you’ll deliver the charity’s pilot Risk Information Service, providing information and support to men at risk of prostate cancer, and their loved ones, via the telephone. This is a non-clinical role, but you’ll discuss callers’ risk of prostate cancer along the lines of the predominant risk factors (age, ethnicity, family history and BRCA gene status). If necessary, you’ll also support them to seek a PSA blood test from their GP and on occasion routing callers who have more complex clinical questions back to the Specialist Nurse service.
You’ll play a key role in developing the pilot – contributing to conversations and decisions around how to adjust and improve the service in its early months. You’ll also report back on your calls, to help the charity develop its broader understanding of information and support needs when it comes to prostate cancer risk and the PSA blood test.
Reporting into the Clinical Services Senior Officer, you’ll have close and regular contact with assigned Specialist Nurses so that you feel at ease in sharing prostate cancer related information with callers, and in maintaining the boundaries and scope of the service day-to-day.
This is a service pilot with the Risk Information Officer role being a fixed term for the duration, with the potential to make the role permanent based on the pilot’s success.
What we want from you
You’ll be a compassionate and resilient communicator; you may be speaking to a caller who is anxious about their risk of prostate cancer. You’ll be a great listener, hearing callers concerns and offering a supportive and empathetic response. Although this is a non-clinical role, with your existing understanding of the healthcare system in the UK, you’ll be willing to learn the basic knowledge of prostate cancer and use the appropriate associated terminology.
You’ll be comfortable in handling more complex conversations, but with self-awareness to recognise your limitations in offering support and recognising clear boundaries of guidance being provided and be able to direct to our Specialist Nurses when needed.
Experience in using a CRM system will be advantageous in this role and any experience with a helpline or providing support or information over the phone will be beneficial in your role.

Duties and key responsibilities:
Content development:
- Work with the Information and Content Manager to research, write, edit and produce new information materials including print publications, web pages, videos, etc.
- Work in line with Sarcoma UK’s information production process, including:
