Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy & Planning
- Develop, implement, and refine a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with IAC UK’s mission and objectives.
- Identify and explore new income streams to expand funding sources and diversify revenue.

- Cultivate existing donor relationships and establish new donor networks to increase long-term engagement and support.

Job description

Summary and key purpose
This new role will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing our individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of our fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.
Our Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of our recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage our relationship with week by week.
A critical element of the role will be how we market ourselves to potential new donors, taking them on an emotional engagement journey in order to solicit regular gifts.
Your expertise and skills:
To excel in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, with an understanding of good stewardship practices. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across teams and meeting multiple deadlines. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders and gather information on new projects. You must have a thorough understanding of individual giving, developing donor journeys and experience of work with agencies.
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the regular giving programme, project managing appeals and overseeing the thanking process for individual donors.
- Create, plan, deliver and evaluate multi-channel, compliant, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns to engage and drive action from new and existing supporters.
- Manage our newly appointed fundraising agency, and in doing so, help deliver an ambitious appeal programme and income target.

At Ada National College for Digital Skills, our mission is to educate and empower the next generation of diverse digital talent. Through the quality of education we deliver, the depth of our industry partnerships and focus on diversity, we are changing the face of the tech sector, expanding the talent pipeline and transforming lives.
We are a specialist Further Education college, where every 16-19 student takes Computer Science and all of our diverse Higher Level and Degree Apprentices work in skills shortage disciplines in innovative, blue-chip companies.
The digital skills gap is costing the UK economy an estimated £63 billion a year in lost GDP. Ada seeks to fill this skills gap by equipping young with the skills industry actually needs.
Ada was announced by the Prime Minister in December 2014; England’s first new FE College since 1993 and since then we’ve gone from strength to strength including a Good with Outstanding features in our first Ofsted Inspection.
16-19 Provision:
As of 2024, we have 187 16-19 students enrolled. Our most recent results are outstanding; 39% of A level results at A*- B and 74% achieving at least one Distinction or better in their externally assessed Computing BTEC. This makes us the best education institution in the country for this BTEC.
Degree Apprenticeships:
Across our London Victoria and Manchester Ancoats campus, we have 363 apprentices currently enrolled on our Higher and Degree Level Apprenticeships. We specialise in five disciplines at present: software development, data analytics, tech consultancy, cyber security and business analysis, working with a wide range of SMEs and corporate organisations such as PwC, Bank of America, Deloitte, Clearscore, Just Eat, Capita, MHRA, Booking,com and Salesforce.
At present 38% of our learners are female, 51% are from ethnic minority backgrounds and 50% come from low income households compared to national averages of c. 20%. We’re passionate about building a supportive, values driven environment for both our students and staff.
Key Aspects of the role & main duties and responsibilities:
- Promote Ada at outreach events (careers fairs, assemblies, workshops) across Greater Manchester with the aim of meeting our application, offer holder and enrolment targets.
- Engage and network with school contacts to ensure growth of Ada’s active contacts in outreach database.
- Manage and maintain of the school database to support outreach communications.
- Assist with event planning, administration and delivery including Outreach events, Careers Fairs, Open Days, School visits to Ada and Keep Warm events - This may involve commitment on some weekends and will require evenings and earlier starts.
- Ensure we are on track to meet our targets for the volume of applications, offers and ultimately enrolments for our new Manchester Sixth Form and ensure we meet our diversity targets.
- Support the administration of the Sixth Form application process including dealing with enquiries to the inbox and on the phone in a timely manner.
- Sending application communications including invitations for assessment, offers and enrollment paperwork, data entry and keeping accurate records of all applicants and their information within the customer relationship management tools (Salesforce, Civica and others).
- Accurate record keeping and data entry into Ada’s systems to produce insightful reports to drive recruitment and inform the leadership team.
- Administration and processing of students enrolments on GCSE results days and afterwards.
- Support with creation of Marketing materials for outreach campaigns and events.

About Sydenham Garden
Based in Lewisham in South-East London, Sydenham Garden is a unique wellbeing centre utilising its gardens, nature reserve and activity rooms to help people living with and recovering from mental and physical ill-health. We provide nature and arts based creative, social and therapeutic activities for co-workers (the name we give to our primary beneficiaries).
About the role
Our Director has been in post since November 2021 and on returning from maternity leave in January 2026 she will be working 3 days a week. We are seeking a Co-Director to jointly lead the organisation going forwards as we have made a positive decision to move towards a co-director model. This is an exciting opportunity which can have benefits of increasing capacity, efficiency, and transparency and allow for a broader range of identities both to better reflect the diverse populations they serve and as a way to include more diverse leaders. It is a model that can also reduce burnout, build equity, and support flexible working.
As Co-Director you will be jointly responsible for leading and manage the day-to-day running of Sydenham Garden for the benefit of our co-workers. The Role

You'll develop and implement community fundraising strategies and identify, approach and cultivate relationships with community groups, schools, local businesses and individuals. Community Fundraising will play a key role in successfully delivering Ambitious about Autism's wider 2025-28 Fundraising Strategy. We are looking for a passionate self-starter with exceptional relationship building skills that feels excited at the prospect of shaping the future of Community Fundraising at Ambitious about Autism.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience of building and growing Community Fundraising income
- Experience of developing and delivering fundraising strategies
- Experience of planning and implementing successful Community Fundraising programmes including setting and meeting financial and supporter cultivation targets
- Excellent planning, project management and organisational skills

We have a new and exciting opportunity for Band 6 Palliative Nurse Specialists to join the Access Community Nurse Specialist Team here at St Peter’s Hospice, Brentry.
The Access CNS Team work between 07:45 and 20:00, 7 days a week to manage the clinical Advice Line, taking calls from external healthcare professionals, patients and their families.
The team also triage urgent and self-referrals to the hospice and will be trialling a new, nurse led outpatient clinic from September, assessing patients who are well enough to attend an appointment in Brentry.
As a specialist nurse working at the forefront of the hospice, you will be a key resource, providing evidence based, contemporary support and advice.
You will need knowledge and experience of palliative care, excellent communication skills, the ability to confidently and dynamically prioritise an unpredictable workload and a passion to continuously improve and develop.
Whilst working predominantly autonomously, you will have the support of the wider hospice team, regular clinical supervision and exposure to wider teaching and development of your skills/knowledge.
Working as a Palliative Access Community Nurse Specialist requires a core skill set
• Holistic assessment via phone and face to face within our outpatient clinics
• Problem solving, decision making, symptom control and prescribing advice
• Advance care planning and completion of Respect plus
• Joint working / signposting with internal and external MDT
The team are currently trialling a mix of long and short shifts over 7 days.
Hours: We can offer either full (37.5) or part time (30) hours
Salary: £38,633 - £45,861 FTE, dependent on experience
Location: Office based at our Brentry site (BS10)
You will be given excellent support to develop your nursing skills into a specialist role. There are opportunities for professional development and specialist training in palliative care, including Physical Assessment and Clinical Reasoning and Independent Prescribing.
