About the Role

Zero Carbon Guildford (ZCG) needs an enthusiastic, organised and capable person to help run our Charity operations and ensure we are performing against our strategic objectives.

Overview and Purpose of the role:
The ZCG Operations Coordinator will focus on two main areas:

Your role will involve translating the Charity’s strategy into implementable actions and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will help us monitor our performance against our overarching strategy outcomes and benefits. Alongside this role we are advertising for a Project Development Coordinator, and you will work with them to convert the metrics and outcomes from individual projects into a measure of wider Charity impact and success.
A key part of the role will be monitoring the targets outlined in our successful funding bids, and ensuring that all reporting requirements are met. You will be responsible for creating and presenting regular reports on both strategic and funding targets to Operations and Trustee teams.
You will ensure the efficient day to day operation of the charity and our town centre premises, ZERO, ranging from management of stock levels through to implementing and monitoring safe working practices both within the ZERO premises and at external events. You will oversee volunteer supervision within the space; a shared task amongst all ZCG employees.
The role will include oversight of the ZCG events schedule, both via booking and management of events, as well as performance against event targets, whilst implementing the ZCG engagement strategy to ensure that messaging of events is tailored appropriately to the audience. Managing our diverse events schedule requires you to be a spokesperson for the charity, liaising with volunteers, local organisations and the general public so interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude is a must.
We are advertising this role alongside a Project Development Coordinator role, and envisage each of these being ~4 days a week, which will include some evening and weekend hours. As Operations Coordinator, you will need a wide-ranging skill set and must be extremely well-organised and practical. Effective communication skills are vital as you will be working closely with volunteers and staff members, and will need to positively motivate them whilst ensuring collaboration and compromise keep the charity functioning well.

Wandsworth WellFamily and Foodbank Service is an adult mental health service serving the Wandsworth community and based in foodbanks and GP surgeries across the London Borough of Wandsworth. Job Purpose
As part of the four strong events team, this role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of numerous educational events throughout the year. These events support the clinical and non-clinical skills and professional development of our members as key components of lifelong learning and improvement.

Main Purpose and Deliverables

In this role, you will co-lead on the outreach and engagement of local communities, especially with a focus on involving and recruiting young people, as well as planning and facilitation of land-based, cooking and creative workshops. You will work alongside one of our chefs so do not need to be a chef, though an interest in sustainable food and gardening experience is desirable

The project:

This role plays a critical part in coordinating the group offering for women accessing our services, as well as providing administration support across the region.
In short you will:
• Be the first point of contact for clients coming to the Women’s Centre; offering a warm welcome and trauma informed approach.
• Hold responsibility for the Minerva telephone number and email account in your region.
• Assist in researching additional resources and events for service users; both within the Centre and across the region.
• Contribute to creating and lead on updating the local Services Directory with details of local organisations, key contacts and details of services on offer, including eligibility criteria.
• Assist the Service Manager in managing the smooth running of the Women’s Centre in your region, including managing the group workshops timetable, arranging meetings and booking external venues for client groups or training events.
• Manage administration for the Kent Minerva team
• Assist the Service Manager with the quality assurance and collation of data and information as required, including for funder reports.

About the role
As a Lived Experience Coordinator, you’ll deliver a programme of involvement activities with the aim of ensuring the views and experiences of individuals with lived experience of bad housing or homelessness informs all of Shelter’s work. We’ll also rely on you to deliver involvement activities across the organisation which will shape the ongoing design, delivery and governance of our work. People with lived experience will be involved in a range of ways too, including involvement groups, taking part in events within local communities, co-designing services and campaigns, sharing stories and speaking out about the housing emergency. The overriding aim is to work closely alongside people with lived experience to influence and steer the direction of Shelter’s work, so that lived experience informs everything we do.
