The role of Head of Legal reports to the Director of Legal & Governance and you will assist them in ensuring the legal function of the organisation runs efficiently, smoothly and that we proactively identify and address legal risk and development needs.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day legal affairs of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Identify legal risk and propose mitigations and solutions.
- Proactively identifying issues and resolving problems efficiently.
- Providing guidance and advice to colleagues
- Developing and managing the suite of legal templates in use across the organisation, proactively identifying areas for improvement and / or development and working collaboratively to develop new templates as needed
- Ensuring internal legal requirements are well designed and understood and are aligned to delivery of strategy
- Ensure that internal legal processes run smoothly
- Make sound, timely decisions that support sustainable, long-term strategic outcomes.
This is a part time, fixed term role and can be based at any of our hubs located in Birmingham, Leeds or London.

As a core part of our charity, the Mental Health Accessible (MHA) team is on a mission to make everyday essential services – like banking, energy, water and telecoms – genuinely accessible for people experiencing mental health problems.

We’re looking for a proactive, passionate and detail-oriented Strategic Partnerships Officer to support the growth and delivery of our consultancy work, within the Mental Health Accessible programme. This role is ideal for someone looking to build an impact-driven career in consultancy, project management or partnerships, with hands-on involvement across business development and client relationship management.

Key tasks in the role will include:

Project management & delivery: Assist in coordinating client-facing consultancy projects, ensuring clear timelines, responsibilities and smooth cross-functional collaboration.

Business development: Support new business pipeline growth, help draft pitches, conduct outreach and build relationships with potential and existing clients.

Copywriting & communications: Draft, edit and proofread consultancy outputs, proposals and social media content to ensure clear and accurate messaging.

Meeting & record management: Organise internal and client meetings, maintain accurate documentation including agendas, notes and follow-ups.

Reporting & analysis: Contribute to internal reporting on business development and financial forecasts, tracking metrics and targets.

Administrative & organisational support: Assist senior leaders and other teams within the charity to deliver our programme of research and consultancy work.
Location: We welcome applicants from across the UK. We are based in east London, with London colleagues working from the office twice a week. This post can be offered to non-London applicants, with twice monthly travel to our London office. The salary is the same for both London-based and non-London based applicants, who are expected to fund their own travel costs to the office. The office is wheelchair accessible, with accessible lifts, toilets and showers.
Hours: This role is offered as a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 30 hours over 4 days a week). The charity has a flexible working policy with core hours of 10am - 3pm and remaining contracted hours distributed throughout the week flexibly.

International Care Network is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. We are looking for two experienced support workers to support individuals and families under all relevant Government resettlement schemes (predominantly Afghan, but not limited to), who have been resettled in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Dorset. The case load for one of these roles will be primarily, but not exclusively based in Dorset (primarily Weymouth, Dorchester and Sherborne) and so travel to these locations will be a significant element of the role. The caseload for the other role will be primarily based in BCP, but travel to Dorset will still be expected. You will need a valid UK driving licence, your own reliable vehicle and to be a confident driver for this role.
