What does this role do?
As a Senior Supporter Stewardship Agent, you will:

• oversee the daily operations of the Supporter Stewardship team, distributing work and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard,
• have meaningful conversations with our supporters and solve any complex queries that arise,
• liaise with other teams and departments to ensure supporter queries are resolved efficiently,
• train and upskill more junior members of the team, supporting them to deliver an excellent supporter experience.

Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 29th September 2025, and will take place on Teams.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to build rapport with supporters, as well as the ability to handle complex customer queries swiftly and efficiently. You'll be capable of training others, supervising a team and distributing workload. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential, as well as experience with databases.

The Team Manager Role
 
We’re looking for someone to work full time, 37.5 hours a week, to manage our Homlessness Prevention Service for people at risk of homelessness across Worcestershire; to manage the wider team of seniors, coordinators and support workers, and work in partnership with stakeholders to deliver on contractual KPIs. The service also delivers the SWEP Night Shelters across the six districts in Worcestershire.

The Charity

James’ Place exists to save the lives of men in suicidal crisis through delivering free clinical services. We currently have centres in Newcastle, Liverpool and London; and in early 2026 we will be opening our fourth centre in Birmingham. Our new centre in Birmingham will be there to support suicidal men living in the West Midlands.

Our trained, professional therapists deliver a proven clinical service in a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that men are seen quickly at the point of crisis. We have so far treated over 3,600 men who might otherwise have been unable to access the support they desperately need.

The Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced manager to oversee the operational side of our new Birmingham Centre. This is a pivotal role within the team which focuses on coordinating activity across the service to ensure the safe and effective delivery of our intervention.

The successful candidate will manage the day to day running of the James’ Place centre, with oversight from the Birmingham Head of Centre. You will manage the centre environment through both resource management and by influencing and driving local culture. The Centre Manager is responsible for line management of the Clinical Administrators and overseeing the processing of referrals to the service, ensuring men coming to James’ Place are welcomed warmly, within the expected timeframe and according to our values.

This is a new role and during their first months in post, the Centre Manager will work closely with the James’ Place Head Office Team to prepare James’ Place Birmingham for a successful launch.

Person Specification

This role requires someone with excellent organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills who can work hands-on in a busy and potentially challenging environment. You will be collaborative and work closely with the local team and wider charity outside the Birmingham centre to ensure we have consistent and effective systems in place. 

We are looking for a forward thinking and proactive individual with experience of both people and operational management. The successful candidate will align with the James’ Place values and be able to demonstrate these through everyday practices including supportive leadership and line management.

Your management and administrative skills will be highly valued in sustaining the clinical operations of James’ Place. You will need to be proficient in Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to manage Outlook cloud calendars, SharePoint, CRM databases, and shared inboxes.

The Centre Manager will often meet the men who come to James’ Place in suicidal crisis and so you will be able to demonstrate empathy and an ability to create a sense of calm while working in a sensitive and busy environment.

The Head of Development will be a key member of the Social Sciences Development team within Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE), who will work closely with SoGE and DAE leadership to establish a small Geography team, and to develop a fundraising strategy that serves the School’s goals and grows its philanthropic support.

SoGE is one of the foremost geography and environment university departments in the world, internationally recognised for the quality of its research and teaching. Cotswold Friends is a local charity based in Moreton-in-Marsh, which for over 45 years has been providing Community Transport, Befriending, Carer Wellbeing and Community Activities to older and vulnerable people in the Cotswolds. We aim to combat loneliness and isolation. Our voluntary services improve health and wellbeing and support independent living.  We currently support over 2,300 people with 340 amazing volunteers.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop the Marketing function for an established and well-respected local charity.  As the Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and be supported by a Marketing Co-ordinator working 12 hours per week and a team of Marketing volunteers.  Your role will involve:

• Development and implementation of Marketing strategy and plans, informed by research and data analysis, to support the charity in the achievement of short and long-term objectives

• Development and implementation of campaign strategy and plans for volunteer recruitment, charity and service awareness and fundraising. 

• Working to tell our stories – in this role you will spend time out and about across the Cotswolds, following our services in action and developing case studies that demonstrate the positive impact of our work

Specifically, you will manage:

· Brand development and awareness

The successful candidate will:

· Hold a Marketing qualification and 2 years of management experience in a Marketing role

· Have the enthusiasm and drive to grow Charity awareness using new ideas and initiatives

· Provide evidence of development and implementation of strategic Marketing plans

· Be proficient in the management of digital marketing/social media/email campaigns

· Have excellent creative writing skills to develop marketing content

· Have Press/PR and events management experience

· Have experience of in-house design packages such as Canva

· Be proficient with website management and Content Management Systems

· Understand GDPR requirements and the importance of data protection
