We are a long-established parent carer forum dedicated to supporting families of children and young people with disabilities. About the Role
Are you enthusiastic about empowering families and ensuring access to the right support? We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Parent Carer Adviser to support families of children and young people with disabilities in the Earls Court area
In this role you will:
- Provide 1-to-1 advice and advocacy and group sessions in community setting
- Deliver information sessions or workshops to help families navigate support services.
- Offer tailored signposting to local, educational, health and social care resources.
- Develop strong relationships with professionals at all levels and advocate effectively when challenges arise
You will work from home and run regular sessions in the Earls Court area, collaborating with families and community partners to reduce isolation, promote access to entitlements, and support informed decision-making.
We are Looking for someone who:
- Has experience providing advice or advocacy to individuals in a community or voluntary sector setting.
- Has a knowledge and understanding of at least two of the following areas:
- Adult/children social care
- Special Education Needs and the Children and Families Act
- Health (including mental health services, Continuing Health Care)
- Housing
- Youth services
- Understands the challenges faced by families of children with disabilities/ SEND.
- Can build trust with diverse communities and communicate clearly and empathetically.
- Is confident delivering group sessions or workshops
- Can maintain accurate case records and work with safeguarding procedures.

The Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations will be our lead fundraiser, drawing in support and expertise from across the team. They will take ownership of identifying funding sources, refining a strategy, forecasting our fundraising income, and building strong relationships with donors, bringing the experiences of our group members to life in fundraising communications. They will line management a full-time fundraiser who specialises in individual giving while the Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations will lead on grant writing.
In the last 5 years, CARAS has had huge success, more than trebling our income and enabling us to expand our staff team and therefore our reach. We are a highly impactful organisation that is often looked to for our insight in the sector. We have an ambitious three-year strategy, co-produced with group members, staff, volunteers, trustees and partner organisations, that will launch in September 2025 and guide our current work.

You will be supported in a variety of ways, including by an expert team of staff around you who will collaborate with you and work together as needed; a highly professional Board of Trustees who you will work with at key points throughout the year and who are available for consultation and advice as needed; robust and effective systems; and a network of organisations and funders who share CARAS’ goals. Additionally, you will have regular and detailed supervision with your line manager, and you can access our Employee Assistance Programme at any time.
This opportunity comes at a very exciting time. CARAS has been piloting a 4 day week from since the 1st of January 2025, meaning that all staff work 20% less time for 100% pay. Full time employees reduced their hours to 4 days per week. We have seen this be a huge boost to staff wellbeing and will become part of our commitment to care for staff as well as our community members.

The Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations is required to lead a wide range of activities. You will be expected to manage your own time, prioritising tasks and leading a small team of people who contribute to CARAS’ fundraising. RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising

Line-manage our Fundraising Officer and work together to generate income to meet CARAS’s budgetary targets through trusts and foundations, individual giving, community fundraising and other means at our disposal.

Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy which synchronises with the CARAS Strategic Plan.

Research and maintain a real-time pipeline of fundraising opportunities and oversee delivery. Lead or allocate all income generation opportunities in good time so that appropriate co-design and decision-making processes are behind applications.

Maintain up-to-date records on potential and active funders in CARAS’s database.

Ensure compliance with best practice in fundraising including use of data and confidentiality.

Work collaboratively with Heads of Service and CARAS’ Finance Manager to develop, deliver and iterate systems to ensure grants are accurately and effectively managed.

Work closely with CARAS leadership to align fundraising priorities with programme plans and organisational growth.

Lead on the development of programmatic and core budgets for diverse grant funders.

Write and submit high-quality, tailored applications that articulate CARAS’s impact, values and plans.

Reporting & Stewardship

Monitoring the wealth of data CARAS collects through our frontline service to ensure we stay agile and adaptable within a changing policy context, supporting Heads of Service and other relevant stakeholders to deliver excellence.
Collaboration with Finance

Work collaboratively with the Finance Manager to ensure the rigorous financial management across all income and expenditure to ensure all grants and donations are accurately accounted for and spent.

Working collaboratively with the Finance Manager and CEO, develop the organisational annual budget and lead on income projections for the year ahead to ensure expenditure budgets are feasible and unlock multi-year growth.
Governance

Contribute to the maintenance of up-to-date policies relevant to the role.

Attend board meetings as requested to share reports with the Board on fundraising.

Work closely with the Treasurer and the Finance Committee on fundraising strategy.
Cross-Organisational Contribution

Main Purpose of the Role
Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime. Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.
As the post holder you will be responsible for delivering our front-line work to young people, parents and other adults (professionals). You will work in schools and in community settings across London to generate impact for young people using Khulisa’s trauma-informed approach. This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel regularly to various locations in London as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme, and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Programme Delivery:
· Facilitate the delivery of sessions in our flagship Face It programme and modular workshops to young people, our Nurturing Connections programme for parents and carers, and our trauma training for professionals.
· Facilitate delivery to a high standard in all settings (schools, youth services, and community spaces), ensuring that you are always taking a trauma informed approach.
· Facilitate various youth participation workshops, co-delivering with young people as much as practicable.
· Respond to any questions, disclosures or safeguarding concerns raised during sessions and follow up where necessary with the relevant safeguarding teams or, where consent is secured, make onward referrals for additional support in specific cases.
· Contribute to the continuous development of all aspects of the programmes, sharing new ideas and using best practice.
· Participate in the periodic review and updating of programme contents and/or development of new materials with relevant colleagues, ensuring that materials used across the team are always uniform and consistent.
· Maintain accurate records of programme activities, including record of input, output, and impact as well as demographics data, and support relevant colleagues in ensuring effective monitoring and periodic evaluation and reporting of impact generated.
· Manage relevant budgets and ensure a value for money approach to all expenditure, making sure to keep within budget.
Programme Coordination:
· Take direct responsibility for logistics of individual programme delivery or activity, including scheduling, resourcing, staffing, and liaising with schools and other partners to ensure effective delivery.
· Work with colleagues in Impact and Evidence team to provide programme data as required to effectively demonstrate impact generated through your delivery.
· Where possible during delivery, generate multi-media content for the use of colleagues in communications to use in updating the Khulisa website and for social media.
Stakeholder Management:
· Support the Programmes & Participation Manager in the building and maintenance of strong relationships with delivery partners - schools, community organisations, and other important stakeholders.
· Contribute to any work to use learning from delivery activities to redesign existing programmes and/or develop new pieces of work as required.
· If required, represent Khulisa at events, meetings, and conferences as required etc.
· Support the onboarding and training of Associate Facilitators and volunteers as necessary.
· When required, support the onboarding and training of other permanent programme staff.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
· Objectively review the successes and achievements of each delivery session facilitated against programme or activity objectives, identifying and implementing opportunities for making ongoing improvements.
· To actively deliver all elements of the Khulisa programme, including work with adults and Khulisa’s Young Influencers.
· Depending on experience and qualifications, to be receptive to any other duties as required by the line manager and in line with the needs of Khulisa.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker is a full-time post on a 12-month renewable contract, joining a small team at the JRS UK offices in Wapping, working closely with the Detention Outreach Manager.
The JRS UK Detention Outreach project supports individuals who are detained in the Heathrow Immigration Removal Centres (Harmondsworth and Colnbrook). This busy and varied role focuses on combining accompaniment, practical support, and assistance to those in immigration detention, especially those who are most vulnerable and struggle to self-advocate. The Detention Outreach Caseworker will make referrals to solicitors and partner organisations where appropriate and liaise with Immigration Services, detention centre staff and others as needed.
The Detention Outreach Caseworker will occasionally support individuals who are released from, but continue to be affected by, immigration detention. Through relationships built across the NGO sector, they will refer individuals to local organisations who can most appropriately assist with reintegration into the community. They will provide in-depth and pro-active support to high-need individuals supported in detention who continue to require long-term accompaniment on release.
The Detention Outreach Caseworker will be responsible for managing their own caseload and work closely with the Detention Outreach Manager to identify themes and trends arising from immigration detention to contribute to the organisations wider strategic work. The post-holder should have a good understanding of and empathy with the issues and challenges faced by asylum-seekers and refugees, with particular focus on immigration detention. They will need highly developed listening skills, personal resilience and emotional maturity to respond to the emotional and practical needs of asylum seekers, accompanying them and supporting them to positively progress with their lives. They need to have and maintain an up-to-date knowledge about the immigration and asylum context as it relates to our work in immigration detention.
The Detention Outreach Caseworker will be enthusiastic about working in a small faith-based organisation and have a willingness to integrate JRS UK’s ethos of accompaniment in their approach whilst also demonstrating sensitivity in responding to the needs of destitute and detained individuals. About the role
This is an exciting new role in Crisis to lead on the practical development of Brent Council’s neighbourhood working approach in Harlesden and feed into Crisis’s new strategy, building on our experience of place-based work in Brent, developing new approaches to preventing homelessness and income insecurity and leading on local system.
The postholder will be line managed by Crisis Brent Skylight Director and is supported by Brent Council’s Head of Place Leadership.
You will:
- Implement a new, place-based vision for neighbourhood working which shifts away from traditional, transactional approaches towards more sustained, relational working with residents at risk of homelessness or living with income insecurity.
- Coordinate and support a co-located and co-working integrated neighbourhood team, consisting of statutory, health and voluntary sector partners, as well as community groups and residents to meet locally agreed strategic objectives, by providing a whole system, joined up experience for individuals, which is preventative, proactive, person-centred and relational.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders fostering a learning culture which is adaptable, collaborative and flexible.
- Develop local systems to support Brent Council’s radical place making approach by setting up new services and cross service teams, including contribution to the development of an operating and outcomes measurement approach.
- Utilise learning from the RPL lead approach, the integrated neighbourhood team and casework delivered on upstream prevention to feed into Crisis strategy and place-based approaches.

About Women in Prison
Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.

Job Purpose:
This role will be based in both HMP Bronzefield and in our community-based hubs in South London, delivering specialist housing support with women impacted by the criminal justice system in prison and the community.
Key responsibility areas
- To deliver an effective accommodation intervention for women impacted by the criminal justice system.
- To develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as housing departments, probation, prison, to ensure a collaborative approach to women’s accommodation needs.
- To provide expert advice and support to colleagues, including upskilling through information and training sessions.
- To work with colleagues to take a system change approach to tackling key issues, such as housing, for women affected by the criminal justice system.

Location: Office-based from one of our national offices (London, Cardiff, Belfast, or Edinburgh) with flexibility to work remotely
Hours: Full-time (35 hours a week)

*you’ll start at our entry point salary of £40,630 per annum, increasing to £43,170 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £45,709 after a further 6 months.

About This Job

The Third Party Events Lead is a key role in the development of our growing fundraising events programme. The role provides strategic and operational leadership to the Third Party Events team, making sure they’re enabled to deliver our annual portfolio of MS Society events across the UK.
In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring our portfolio of events are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget, as well as being a key part of our Community, Events &Retail Fundraising leadership team.
Our role is to deliver engaging, high quality and innovative fundraising to our amazing supporters and provide an attractive, inclusive programme of events and activities throughout the year.

Women and Girls Network’s (WGN) Administration & Bookings Officers (ABO) have day-to-day responsibility for coordinating the bookings for all of our clinical services. They contribute towards the delivery of high-quality therapeutic work through the provision of an empathetic, efficient, and comprehensive service, ensuring that all referral/booking-related matters are administered effectively. This is achieved by working closely and consulting with various managers about any potential barriers to service provision and regarding complex and/or highly sensitive cases. This role is primarily focused on our Rape Crisis and Ascent Counselling Services and also includes providing occasional cover and support for other WGN services.
ABOs act as a key point of contact for the charity and ensure WGN’s centers are welcoming, supportive, and calm environments for all users. As with all WGN team members, ABOs are responsible for actively contributing to a culture that values and respects diversity, learning, improvement, striving for quality, and best practice. They are responsible for contributing to continuous formal monitoring and reporting processes for clinical services delivery and provision.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised, and skilled individual to join our brilliant team of ABOs whose contributions are essential to the core functioning of WGN’s clinical services. This post is offered on a part-time basis (21 hours per week) with possibility to increase to full-time (35 hours) and involves a combination of remote and office based working determined by Client, service delivery, and organisational requirements.
