We are an independent charitable foundation that funds high-quality medical research, with a strong focus on underfunded and emerging areas of health. As we launch an ambitious new strategy to 2029, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Research Manager to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of medical research.

You will play a key role in planning and delivering bespoke research funding competitions, managing a portfolio of research grants, and contributing to the development of new funding initiatives. You will ensure that only the highest quality science and most promising researchers receive our support, and you’ll play a part in supporting our community of grant holders throughout the life of their awards.

You’ll also support the development and delivery of scientific events and workshops; help identify new funding priorities and work closely with external stakeholders.

We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

• Experience of working in a life sciences research/funding environment (e.g. charity, university, public sector).
• Experience of funding competitions, peer review, or grant management
• Clear communication in writing and verbally with colleagues, scientists and other stakeholders
• Good research and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Strong planning, organising and time-management skills with the flexibility to respond to team priorities and unexpected changes
• A high level of IT skills, specifically excellent MS Word, and good MS Excel
• Educated in biomedical sciences to degree level or equivalent experience

We will offer a salary of between £45,000 and £49,000 depending on experience for a 36-hour week. Ideally you will be a full-time employee, but we are happy to consider a part-time contract (min 0.8 FTE).

We value spending time working in-person to develop strong connections with each other and with our mission, so you will be based at our central London office for a minimum of three days a week (usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with the option to work remotely for the remainder. This will be on a pro-rata basis for part time staff.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager, who  will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of the organisation. Able to manage the day-to-day financial analysis and reporting requirements for Money Ready, and provide input for strategic financial planning. Using a business partnering model, ensure all budget holders are fully supported in their roles. The Senior Finance Manager will be a member of the SMT. This role will lead or contribute to the implementation of new financial systems, tools, or procedures that improve efficiency, compliance, and transparency.

Working across Money Ready

You will work with colleagues across the country as we continue to develop and grow the organisation. Contribute to areas of the organisation that are ‘outside’ your immediate focus acting as trusted counsel to those in roles or teams that are different to yours. Key Responsibilities

• Ensures the timely and accurate production of all management and annual accounts and all forecasts in accordance with best practise and statutory requirements.
• A key business partner who provides value added business support and financial insight to the SMT and colleagues throughout the Charity.
• Provides financial insight to development team to assist with fundraising bids, prepare donor budgets, and ensure donor reporting and compliance throughout the grant life cycle.
• Responsible for delivery of all statutory and regulatory compliance, including statutory accounts, certification officer returns, Charities Commission, VAT and all payroll taxes.
• Responsible for fortnightly payment runs processing. Supervise and assist with the sale invoices processing and regular credit control. Monthly reconciliation of all Money Ready’s bank accounts.
• Responsible for monthly payroll including monthly and annual RTI reporting to HMRC, pensions payments, annual payroll processing and relevant reconciliations.
• Work with auditors on preparing the audit strategy and manage annual audit process, providing all the relevant paperwork during the audit process.
• Be a positive change champion for the organisation, identifying key impact areas and priorities and supporting change programmes and strategies in both finance and across the Union as a whole.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns with reconciliations and reporting. Line management, objective setting and performance reviews for direct report.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal controls environment that is fit for purpose but uses a risk-based approach to the establishment of processes and procedures.

Personal Specification

• You will need to show;
• Experience Substantial experience in a finance or accounting role (including at management level) in a not-for profit organisation.
• Substantial experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end accounts.
• Substantial experience in processing monthly payroll using QuickBooks Payroll and Sage Payroll.
• Line management experience, including objectives setting and performance reviews.
• Experience in charity accounting principles, especially with regards to grants and restricted funds.
• Demonstrable experience of business partnering with multiple, non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience of establishing financial systems including business plans and budgets.

We are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to work in a dedicated Programmes and Grants directorate, working at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.

Key responsibilities:

• You will be central to our work in the delivery of innovative and impactful grant-making.
• You will lead on the delivery of key, new and existing funding programmes, relationships and portfolios, sourcing and making recommendations on complex and strategically important requests for funding and building effective relationships with our grant holders.

Read for Good’s Grants and Trusts Manager leads on securing high-value income for the national charity from trusts and foundations, typically securing one-off and multi-year grants in the five- to six-figure range. You will research and cultivate prospective funders, produce compelling, tailored proposals, programme reports and manage a strong pipeline of funding opportunities. You will also develop and steward long-term funding relationships that align with our mission and strategy, building on our well established and robust pipeline. Income Generation and Fundraising

• Research and develop a strong pipeline of new and existing high-value trusts and grant-making prospects (typically five- and six-figure applications).
• Write compelling, tailored funding proposals that align with funder interests and organisational priorities.
• Manage and track income performance, reporting on progress against individual and team targets.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with funders and secure repeat and multi-year funding in the region of £400K p.a.

Team Management and Development

Purpose

The successful candidate will be employed by The Linking Network (TLN) in Bradford and work collaboratively as part of a small team and a wide network of committed stakeholders who are working together to inspire community cohesion through schools across the UK. The Operations Manager will have an opportunity to help shape how the organisation runs, playing a pivotal role in ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant operations. The post-holder will have responsibility for the day to day operations and finances of our charity and offer vital administrative and organisational support to TLN’s team, Board of Trustees and wider network of partners across the country, helping them to plan ahead and enabling them to fulfil their responsibilities.

This role comes with substantial responsibility, as an integral part of a high-performing team working across the UK. We are a small team that achieves big things. ● Contribute to organisational planning and reporting cycles, in pursuit of our collective vision to inspire community cohesion across the country

● Assist the Directors through diary management, prioritising where needed and supporting preparation before meetings 

● Provide general administration support to the team such as booking meeting rooms, arranging travel and maintaining a comprehensive filing system

● Develop our internal processes and support our team meetings with clear agendas and actions

● Support the team to plan and deliver stakeholder meetings and events (e.g., celebration events with our schools and communities), including through sourcing the right venue, managing the guestlist and liaising with speakers 

● Help the team develop compelling presentations, training aids, handouts or other communications

● Provide general support to TLN’s Local Areas, for example booking training sessions, printing and posting key materials or following up on agreed actions

● Enable the team to plan effective Network meetings, ensuring the right materials are shared in advance and notes of key points and actions circulated promptly afterwards

● Request and organise accurate records for TLN’s local areas across the country so that we understand our collective work across schools and communities

Managing our general operations 

● Help foster a supportive, inclusive and values-driven working culture

● Support staff recruitment, induction, development and training, working with the Directors to manage HR records including annual leave

● Work with external providers to ensure the team have the right IT systems and support

● Maintain and update TLN’s website and web-based resources, working alongside the team and our contracted website developer

● Manage the office space and supplies to ensure that the team has the required resources to achieve their objectives

● Provide administration support to the Board of Trustees, including organising meetings, circulating board papers and taking minutes

● Coordinate the implementation of key policies - including Safeguarding, Health & Safety and GDPR - ensuring the policies are kept up to date with support from the Directors and Trustees and all relevant procedures are in place

● Ensure the charity’s insurance, Health & Safety and DBS certificates are up to date and maintain a single central record of safeguarding training and DBS certificates

Managing our finances 

● Monitor organisational spend against budget, ensuring the timely spending of restricted funds and value-for-money procurement

● Manage payroll and staff expenses and keep finance records up to date

● Administer grants to TLN’s Local Areas, ensuring all contracts are signed, invoices are requested and payments are made on time 

● With the support of the Directors and our contracted accountants, prepare monthly management accounts, the year end statutory accounts and budgets for the year ahead and funding applications

● Support the team to develop effective reports that communicate the progress of our work to funders and other key stakeholders

● Ensure all funders receive invoices and any reporting requirements within their deadlines

The Resident Engagement Manager will be the organisational lead in a new and exciting lottery funded project leading a small team and overseeing the design and delivery of the LEAP service at Homeless Oxfordshire and with wider partners.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide leadership across the organisation on resident engagement, learning and skills, co-production and activities.
• To promote the active involvement of the resident’s experience and voice in the delivery, development and monitoring of LEAP service.
• To provide support and line management supervision to the engagement team, ensuring they meet all aims, objectives and outcomes, according to the lottery bid.
• Lead on monitoring, data collection and impact measures for all resident engagement work.
• Lead on the design of the peer mentoring training and traineeship programmes.
• Develop and maintain key relationships with key stakeholders including education, employment and third sector partners.
• Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships to ensure managers and teams deliver high quality services that are reflective of Homeless Oxfordshire’s values and address local needs.

About LEAP

LEAP is built on the foundation of strong, supportive relationships that empower residents to move towards stable, independent living. Through one-to-one key worker support, trauma-informed care, and community engagement, residents rebuild trust, form friendships, and gain confidence. Activities like gardening, arts and crafts, and creative writing foster connection and personal growth, while group involvement helps residents feel part of a wider community. LEAP also supports residents to take steps into peer mentoring, volunteering, and training, helping them build positive networks beyond their immediate circle and develop the skills and confidence to thrive independently.

At LEAP, community involvement is at the heart of their work. Empowering residents through co-production is a key organisational goal. LEAP offer a range of inclusive engagement methods—from informal gatherings like group breakfasts and creative activities, to structured sessions such as support needs mapping and Residents’ Forums. These forums provide regular opportunities for feedback and co-design, with input reaching senior management and trustees. They are enhancing resident engagement by developing a mutual support network for staff with lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction. This group will shape services and policies, and guide resident outreach. LEAP also collaborates with local partners like RAW, a social enterprise offering training and employment to those with lived experience, and strengthens ties with adult education providers such as Abingdon and Witney College. We also create pathways to volunteer with cultural institutions like the University of Oxford Museums.

LEAP empowers people with lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction, helping them build the confidence and skills needed to move towards independent living and employment. Over three years, the project aims to support 750 individuals. Through a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities, residents will experience positive outcomes such as increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of inclusion. They will build supportive networks, learn key life skills and access training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. Many will gain qualifications and secure long-term accommodation. The project strengthens peer support and enables residents to shape services through formalised Residents’ Forums, ensuring their voices influence senior decision-making. For Homeless Oxfordshire, LEAP enhances our capacity to deliver peer-led support, builds staff knowledge, and informs service improvement. Wider community benefits include reduced stigma around homelessness, stronger partnerships with employers and organisations, and improved understanding of the issues faced by our residents—ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate society.

About the Role

Are you a strong leader who can motivate a small team? Support their CEO, Lisa Zimmerman, in championing a positive organisational structure? Then, here’s a look at some of the tasks they need you to take leadership on in this role:

· Day-to-day activities: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the charity and of the project team and ensuring that all goals and objectives are met in a timely manner.

· Impact and reporting: Develop and implement a standardised dashboard of KPI’s for regular reporting. Support the production of reports for funders ensuring processes are in place to ensure that indicators and outcomes are met.

This is a new role for Integrate UK, with the aim to bring in an experienced operations resource (initially on an interim basis) to support their CEO and Co-founder – allowing her to focus more of her time on their strategy, partnerships and growth and impact.

About You

Our Aims

The Urban Partnership Group (UPG) is a community and regeneration organization situated in West London offering a wide range of activities at its bases at the Masbro Centre, Edward Woods Community Centre, Masbro Brook Green, and Flora Gardens Family Centre,  projects managed include those for older people, youth, children centre services, volunteering and community champions.  Through these projects UPG hopes to enhance the health, wealth and well-being of the centre users and residents.

The Role

The Community Centre Manager will play a key role in the leadership and smooth running of The Edward Woods centre, managing change, growth and performance as agreed with the CEO. Working closely with the UPG Management team, employees, partners, contractors, volunteers and other local organisations, the Manager will work to ensure the

Community Centre is a vibrant, well-managed facility that operates within a sustainable framework for the benefit of residents and organisations. They will also promote the profile, role and impact of the Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities

Management of the Community Centre

• Manage the operations of the Community Centre, its staff and the development and delivery of activities and facilities in line with the business and strategic plan.

• Ensure compliance with employment law and that we follow good practice regarding HR.

• Contribute to the planning, development, implementation and delivery of the business and strategic plan and present regular progress updates to the UPG Management team.

• Oversee the maintenance of the building - including building maintenance and improvement

programmes.

• Manage and monitor all aspects of risk assessments, health and safety and security as required by regulation or good practice including, in conjunction, the review and updating of

policies and procedures.

Management of staff and Volunteers

• Create a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well managed, dignity at work is upheld and staff and volunteers can achieve their best.

• Ensure effective management of HR including recruitment, supervision and development of

employees, contractors, and volunteers, including carrying out DBS checks as

necessary.

• Oversee the Community Centre’s complaints procedure, and the proper handling, investigation and resolution of any complaints against the Centre, its staff and volunteers.

Working with Others

• Continue developing and maintaining relationships with various local partners to ensure activities at the Community Centre fit with others provided in the area.

• Positively represent the Centre and the community at partner and other meetings/events to raise the profile of the Community Centre and to ensure the views and needs of the community are prioritised and included.

• Prepare reports for funders, PRM and annual general meetings.

PR/Marketing and Fundraising

• Oversee the development and implementation of an income generation & marketing strategy.

• Develop strategies to promote the use and profile of the Community Centre, maximising use of social media, publicity opportunities and liaison with the local media.

Financial management

• Liaise with the CEO and Finance officer in setting and managing budgets and maintain an overview of the financial position of the Community Centre.

• Code invoices to ensure that income and expenditure is allocated to correct projects.

• Ensure best practice in all financial matters.

Project Management

• Support and oversee the continued delivery of high-quality services and activities.

• Devise and implement robust impact monitoring and evaluation strategies for all projects.

• Ensure all projects are correctly risk assessed and supported.

Edward Woods Community Centre has a small team of employees, tenants, volunteers and a

wide range of activities. it is expected that the post holder will be flexible in assisting in areas of work which go beyond their main duties. In particular, the holder of this post will be expected to assist with covering frontline reception and administrative duties and attendance at and/or supervision of events outside of normal working hours.

Accountable at Board level and working closely with our Consultant Addictions Psychiatrist and Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of person-centred, trauma-informed care that builds recovery capital and the scaffolding that promote sustained recovery.

Kenward Trust provides both 12-Step and SMART recovery models with a trauma-informed approach to both. All residents experience additional therapy from our unique Therapeutic Gardens and Workshops which were rated as Outstanding by the CQC. Kenward Trust is constantly evolving and you will play a pivotal role in its place a Kent's leading addiction treatment centre. 

We are looking to recruit an experienced professional who holds a recognised therapeutic qualification to a minimum of Level 4 with membership of a recognised professional body. They will have a minimum of 3 years managerial responsibility of multi-disciplinary working in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation or community setting

Volunteering Matters works with around 5,000 volunteers, 7,500 beneficiaries and 60 projects throughout England, Scotland and Wales each year.  At present, records are locally managed, relying on project-based IT solutions to record and report on activities.  To improve our efficiency in this area, we will be introducing a new digital platform for use across our work.  In spring 2025, we will be inviting potential providers to tender, asking them to tell us how they can work with us to develop an organisational-wide digital management tool that helps us manage our volunteers and activities more effectively.

In this role, you will operationally manage the activities and tasks outlined in the CRM project plan, working closely with the Head of Volunteering & Engagement, the CRM Strategic group and the CRM Working group.  The project plan includes four stages: (1) Understanding/prioritising our organisational needs, (2) Mapping potential providers, (3) Commissioning and deciding on a provider, (4) Implementation of a new system. We are currently at Stage 2, moving into Stage 3. 

This is a fixed term role with a two-year commitment (18 month contract) and delivery plan.  You will work closely with the National Volunteer Engagement Manager to help embed the new VMS or CRM across our delivery team, working practically and equitably with colleagues to understand any individual challenges or needs and finding appropriate ways to support them. 

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive CRM Project Manager to lead the next phase of our CRM development project.

You’ll operationally manage the delivery of our CRM plan, support the commissioning of a new system, and develop and drive forward a clear implementation strategy. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth delivery, while coordinating training, ensuring compliance, and embedding inclusive practices.
