We deliver a comprehensive, school-wide mental health programme and community-led services designed to equip young people with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to recognise and address their mental health needs.

The Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and experienced facilitators to join our team and deliver impactful mental programmes in secondary schools and local communities across London and Essex. As a Senior Workshop Facilitator, you will:

• Lead engaging and interactive sessions tailored to the needs of young people.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience

About Us

Rowans Hospice Charity provides free care and support to adults and their families living in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire region who have a life-limiting illness. Established in 1994, our income is generated by ongoing support of the local community, donations, legacies, fundraising and through our retail shops.

Many people think that hospices are all about dying, but through our many different services, we support people to live as well as they can with their illness. From the moment of diagnosis through to bereavement support. Our Living Well Services put an emphasis on living with a life-limiting illness and patients and carers can drop in and gain advice and support to maintain individuals’ resilience.

The Hospice is also supported by an assembly of volunteers, from various backgrounds and ages who are crucial in supporting the teams to ensure people live well to the end of their life and attain a good death within a caring and compassionate environment.

The Role

To provide high-level, proactive, and confidential administrative and executive support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. This role ensures the efficient coordination of meetings, communications and strategic initiatives by managing schedules, preparing documentation and facilitating effective information flow. The EA acts as a key point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, supporting the governance and operational effectiveness of the Charity at the highest levels.

You will be the lead administrator for governance, ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met, whilst also supporting the effective running of executive meetings, day-to-day leadership functions and education placements.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to – see Job Description for further information)

• Provide PA support to the Chair, Deputy CEO, Company Secretary and SLT, including diary management, correspondence, travel, and meeting coordination
• Provide efficient and professional support to the Board of Trustees and delegated committees, including scheduling, producing annual meeting calendars, preparing agendas, circulating papers, taking accurate minutes and following up on actions
• Provide administrative and logistical support for Doctors and Nursing Student placements
• Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes for executive administration

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role ideally in a charity
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Professional and confident interpersonal manner
• Ability to draft high-quality correspondence and reports
• Experience in formal minute-taking and senior board level

About the role:

We are looking for a Clinical Transformation Lead to drive and deliver strategic and operational transformation initiatives across Princess Alice Hospice, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and service innovation. The role will also help us deliver on our ambitious strategy to support more people who need our services and expertise.

You will lead on the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical transformation projects, including our clinical strategy, working collaboratively and alongside multidisciplinary teams to embed sustainable change and continuous improvement, whilst ensuring the strategy aligns with our vision and objectives.

Engaging colleagues, volunteers, patients and families throughout the change journey, you will work with internal and external colleagues to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in clinical services, ensuring best practice and evidence-based care.

We are open to a secondment as we would be happy to explore different options with the successful candidate’s organisation.

About you:

You will be motivated, have excellent communication skills and strong leadership capabilities. 

You will have a degree or diploma in health, management or a related field, and a high level of experience in leading and delivering successful transformation or improvement projects.

You will have experience of working with complex data and will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills ensuring robust analysis and clear presentation of data to a wide range of audiences. You will have experience of managing projects and / or programmes in complex organisations and a track record of delivery. You will be comfortable with preparing reports in different formats, and be confident in reporting to executives and Trustees on delivery and impact.

The role works alongside clinical teams to lead, develop and embed changes. You may or may not be a clinician, but it is critical that you understand how clinicians work.

You will be supported in your efforts by our experienced central change team, along with our established approach to managing change and change processes.

Young People Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support young people in supported accommodation in Twickenham

About the Role

As Young People Support Worker you will work as part of a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported accommodation. You will have a caseload of 5 clients aged 18-25, in a supported accommodation in Twickenham.

You will mostly lone work, with the Service Manager and Senior Progression Coach working from the office once a week each on average.

You may be required to work from our offices with the rest of the team in Lambeth/Croydon once a month as the business need arises or for training.

Key responsibilities:

· Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times, following safeguarding and emergency procedures as required.

· Hold a caseload as key worker, taking joint responsibility with the team for day-to-day client support.

· Lead on risk and needs assessments, develop SMART outcomes-based support plans, and review regularly.

GrantScape is a national grant-making charity that funds community, environmental, and educational projects across the UK. Our grants make a meaningful impact—transforming lives, strengthening communities, and improving local environments in the areas we serve.

The Senior Grant Officer will play a key role in assessing and administering grant applications, and in coordinating meetings with local voluntary Advisory Panels who help prioritise funding decisions.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of navigating complex situations and identifying practical solutions. You’ll bring strong project management skills to oversee a diverse portfolio of funded projects, and be confident working independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team.

We’re seeking someone with at least one year of experience in project management or grant-making (ideally two), and a solid understanding of the Third Sector. A full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use is essential. Mileage is reimbursed at 45p per mile, and a hire car will be provided for journeys over 120 miles.

The post will be a home-based role located in the Northwest of England, with easy access to the M6 corridor. Preferred locations include Lancaster, Preston or Warrington. The successful candidate must remain based in this region throughout their employment to ensure accessibility to meetings for location-specific funds.

The Churchill Fellowship is a unique programme that empowers UK citizens to discover new solutions from around the world to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing communities in the UK. Each year, we fund over 100 Fellows to explore innovative ideas, best practices, and cutting-edge projects anywhere in the world that relate to the issues they care about most.

Purpose of the role:

The Head of Fellowship is responsible for the delivery of the Churchill Fellowship’s annual Fellowship Programme, overseeing all stages from pre-application support, through selection and award, to Fellows’ global learning. The role ensures processes are inclusive, transparent, and of the highest quality, embedding equity, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding at every stage.

Working closely with the Fellowship Director and senior leadership, the postholder supports applicants and Fellows with guidance and feedback, strengthens the Fellowship model, ensures it runs smoothly and effectively.

Delivery of Fellowship Programme:

• Lead on and manage the full Fellowship selection process, from pre-application to final award, ensuring alignment with TCF’s EDI values and strategic priorities.

• Salary - £55,000.00 per annum (5 days per week/36.5 hours)

Standard working hours are 36.5 hours a week, 9.30am until 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and from 9.30am until 4.00pm on Friday, including a paid lunch break of one hour.

We have embraced the benefits of working from home and at the same time, we value the contribution of face-to-face contact in building teamwork, collaborating with your colleagues, exchanging ideas and know-how, and for work efficiency. We therefore operate a hybrid working policy, where staff can work from home if they wish, however everyone is required to work in the office for a minimum of 4 to 6 days a month with Tuesdays as the core day for regular whole team meetings and Thursday as an additional core day for Senior Leaders.

Citizens Advice 1066 is seeking a Money Advice Caseworker to join our specialist team. This permanent role is vital for helping people resolve complex debt issues, contributing directly to our charitable mission of relieving poverty and distress.

Key Casework Responsibilities:

• Provide full money advice casework, including calculating, negotiating, drafting correspondence, and making phone calls to act on behalf of the client.
• Negotiate with third parties and creditors as appropriate.
• Ensure income maximisation by checking and assisting with the take-up of appropriate benefits.
• Manage cases according to the Citizens Advice Quality Standard and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Guidelines.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting learners with self-care and independence skills such as eating, drinking, washing, bathing, using the toilet, managing incontinence, dressing, mobility, and medication administration.
   
• Ensuring learners' care files are kept up to date and accurate.
   
• At the start of each shift, reviewing communication and log books, and liaising with staff at handover to ensure learners' needs are well documented and addressed.
   
• Establish supportive relationships with learners and encourage the development of stable relationships.
   
• Promote the emotional health and self-esteem of learners and support them through changes in their living situation and personal circumstances.
   
• Accompanying learners into the community to take part in social and recreational activities such as bowling, cinema trips, and dining out, helping them build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences beyond the college setting.

We are seeking an experienced and successful fundraising professional to join our Development Team as Associate Director, Individual Giving and Legacies. This exciting role will lead the Individual Giving (regular giving, appeals, giving products and onsite giving) and Legacies and Commemorative teams at Kew, delivering against ambitious annual targets and strategic goals, implementing and delivering on strategies to significantly grow income from these areas.

Responding to Kew’s ambitious income growth strategy to more than double its philanthropic income by 2030, this role will be critical in increasing unrestricted income, working closely with marketing colleagues to promote and raise the profile of Kew as a charity, and deliver creative and exciting giving products to engage audiences and encourage them to support Kew.

• Enable are seeking an experienced Smoking Cessation Advisor to play a key role in shaping, developing and implementing an innovative stop-smoking pilot programme in London.
• Reporting to the Health Promotion Manager, this role will involve working closely with health care providers and community stakeholders to develop and design an evidence-based, behaviour change intervention, aimed at reducing smoking prevalence across targeted populations.
• This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist with expertise in tobacco dependence, behaviour change, and public health programme design to lead the development of a smoking cessation pilot. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Develop a high-quality smoking cessation pilot programme
• Conduct needs assessments and analyse local smoking prevalence data to inform programme design. 
• Lead on the design, development, and delivery of a high-quality stop-smoking pilot programme, tailored to meet local population needs. 
• Develop training materials and resources for facilitators delivering the programme. 

Specialist Support and Advice 

• Provide guidance and advice on evidence-based smoking cessation strategies, including behaviour change support. 
• Provide high-quality smoking cessation behavioural support and pharmacological advice, in line with evidence-based practice, to individuals wishing to stop smoking or using tobacco products. 
• Advise on compliance with relevant NHS, NICE, and local authority guidelines. 

Stakeholder Engagement and Communications 

• Support stakeholder engagement, community outreach, and communications to promote the pilot and ensure effective collaboration. 

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement 

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the pilot programme through data collection methods such as questionnaires and focus groups with participants. 
• Identify and report areas of success and opportunities for improvement, providing recommendations for future programme development. 

Skills and Experience:  

• Educated to degree level in health, social care, public health, or significant professional experience in smoking cessation. 
• Proven experience working within local authorities, the NHS, or similar public health settings. 
• Completion of the National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSCT) certification. 
• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of stop-smoking medications and their appropriate use. 
• In-depth understanding of behaviour change theories & techniques, along with their application in smoking cessation programmes. 
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing pilot programmes or other community-based health interventions.
