This is a key strategic role in our organisation. You will lead and manage the Somerset Diverse Communities (SDC) team. Together with your team, you will listen to community needs, promote suitable responses and convene individuals and organisations to seek community-based solutions, supporting communities to thrive together.

As part of this role you will also be responsible for managing a varied programme of ESOL courses, groups and support in schools. In addition, you will manage the delivery of our support for Open Mental Health Alliance partners to provide programmes that integrate equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging into everything they do.

Trusts and Grants Fundraising - Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Research and identify new trust and foundation prospects.
• Draft and submit high-quality funding applications and reports.
• Maintain a calendar of deadlines and stewardship activities.
• Record and track pledges, donations, and grant income.
• Ensure that all reporting is completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with the Education and Operations teams to ensure they have all the information they need to deliver work related to restricted funding.

Fundraising Administration

• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and ensure data integrity.
• Reconcile income records with the finance team.
• Process donations and Gift Aid claims.
• Support income tracking and reporting.

Supporter Care

• Ensure timely and appropriate donor thanking.
• Respond to supporter queries via email and phone when needed.
• Assist with donor communications and stewardship planning.
• Working with the Comms and Operations Teams to assist with fundraising marketing, website and social media content.
• Working to consolidate and grow our group of recurring donors.
• Support with processing payments and donations online, in-person and over the phone, depositing cheques and cash donations.
• Help manage the stewardship calendar for major donors throughout the year.

Events Support

• Help coordinate logistics and communications for fundraising events.
• Track income and pledges from events like the Annual Lunch.
• Support with ticketing, invoicing, and donor follow-up.

Collaboration and Compliance

• Work closely with colleagues across fundraising, finance, comms, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.

Education:

• Act as the first point of contact for Education Team related queries and communications.
• Assist in the production and distribution of educational and marketing materials.
• Support the planning and delivery of educational events, including our online learning event series, the National Youth Conference, national and international residential trips.
• Manage the administration for the Education Team Away Days.
• Maintain and update our Salesforce database; generating reports as required and inputting data from programme evaluations.
• Support the collaboration between the fundraising and education team where relevant.
• Support the recruitment and administration of the Ambassador Programme.
• Provide administrative support for stakeholder school visits.

Communications:

• Create engaging social media content to promote the Anne Frank Trust’s mission, fundraising initiatives, and educational programmes.
• Assist in drafting and distributing the monthly e-bulletin, ensuring it effectively communicates key updates and achievements.
• Update the website with new developments to effectively communicate the Trust’s achievements.
• Collaborate with the Education Team to promote online learning events, using social media and email, to key stakeholders.

General Responsibilities:

• Be highly organised in supporting education and communications efforts, ensuring deadlines and targets are met.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton Haven Hospice as one of our Fundraising Managers, leading our fundraising team to achieve ambitious targets through a diverse portfolio of income streams.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who can develop and grow our income streams, including running successful events and campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and working closely with our community supporters and organisations.  You will jointly manage our fundraising team and support them to deliver targets, provide excellent stewardship and raise awareness of our work in the local community.

Demonstrable experience of event management and working with budgets and financial targets is essential, as is the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Previous experience of leading a team and managing volunteers would be desirable but not essential, however you must have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly.

As Head of Support & Communities, you will exhibit strong leadership skills and have significant experience working within a health and social care or relevant field of work.  You will have an in-depth understanding of the needs of those with disabilities, their families and carers. 

You will primarily be responsible for the overall management and development of the teams and the services they provide. As the company safeguarding lead you will have an in-depth understanding of policy and procedure to protect all.  You will be a relationship builder who cares about the community we serve and ensures that the individual (or family) remains at the centre of support. 

You will have a good understanding of managing budgets and able to produce accurate monitoring/evaluation reports. Excellent IT skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to tight timescales are essential.  You will be self-motivated and highly organised, juggling many strands of work. 

As a team player, you will demonstrate a willingness to participate in the day-to-day activities of the team, have excellent staff management and development skills along with the confidence to motivate and inspire.

This is an essential car user post. The applicant must hold a current UK driver’s licence, with no more than 6 points, have access to a car and be able and willing to drive UK wide as required.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in our Amersham office each week. As part of the role, UK wide travel is necessary. which may on occasion include early morning and/or evening working and sometimes overnight stays.  You may also occasionally be required to attend evening or weekend conferences and events. We have policies in place to ensure that any unsociable hours worked are fairly compensated.

This is a full-time role (35 hrs per week) however part time hours, with a minimum of 28 hrs per week may be agreed for the right candidate.  Salary will be pro-rata for part-time.

Spark Inside runs coaching programmes in prisons across London and the South East, to encourage rehabilitation and reduce reoffending. 

We are one of the first organisations to take life coaching to people living and working in prison and to use systems coaching to bring together staff and prisoners in UK prisons. Our expert coaches are qualified and trained professionals. In addition to developing and delivering innovative coaching programmes, we are also committed to working with parliamentarians and government officials to influence criminal justice policy, and shift the perception of people in prison, platforming their voices and highlighting their unlocked potential.

To achieve our ambitious strategy, Spark Inside is seeking a Communications Manager to help raise the charity’s public profile, build influence with policymakers, attract funders and commissioners, and ensure the lived experience of young people in the justice system shapes our messaging, campaigns and strategy.

You will work with the Head of Communications and Advocacy to deliver a programme of compelling external communications activities through digital, print, press and events in order to increase Spark Inside’s visibility and ensure our key messages are wide-reaching and impactful.

You will report to the Head of Communications & Advocacy and work closely alongside our Participation and Engagement Manager and Policy Lead, with line management responsibility for a part-time Communications Officer. You will also work with a range of external freelancers on design, film and print. Northumberland Domestic Abuse Service

NDAS provides support to all victims who have been the subject of domestic abuse/violence, supports them through the criminal justice system and offers relevant advice and assistance, both practical and emotional. 

NDAS empowers victims to make decisions, increase their options, their confidence and safety.  Prevention and awareness raising activities are also delivered across Northumberland and counselling to the children of our service users.

Purpose of the job

 You will be an important member of the Senior Management Team, supporting the CEO to drive income growth. To be successful in this role you will be a strategic thinker who is highly organised, adaptable and flexible, able to inspire campaigns, appeals and experiences to drive income growth across a range of platforms and linking in potential support to the work of NDAS.

As Fundraising Manager, you will work closely with the CEO and SMT.  Also attending the Finance Sub-Group meetings that report into the Board.

 Key Accountabilities

1. You will work with the CEO to maintain and implement the Fundraising Strategy.

2. You will develop strategic relationships with funders and stakeholders.

3. You are accountable for the management, performance and reporting on all income strands.

4. You will work with the CEO to produce a bi-monthly Funding Overview report and projected Income Generation Plans for consideration by the Finance Sub-Group and to be reported to the Board

Responsibilities:

 1. Planning, implementing and driving forwards the Fundraising Strategy with a focus on expanding the range and size of income sources.

2. Identify new funding streams from Trusts, Statutory agencies and corporates, and submit funding bids.

3. Manage Individual Giving and Legacies

4. With the CEO produce and maintain an Income Generation Plan with a timeline setting deadlines for the submission of funding applications

5. Work with the CEO and Finance Manager to manage the allocation of costs across the budget and to ensure delivery in line with funding requirements.

6. Work with the SMT to manage and monitor all outcomes associated with each funding stream.

7. Produce funding applications with informative narrative content and robust data

8.   Maintain a monitoring schedule and produce reports in line with funder/stakeholder requirements also with informative narrative content and robust data

9.   Maintain regular communication with funders and potential funders to build strong working relationships and increase funding opportunities

10. Support the CEO in developing strategic and operational plans for the organisation

11. Monitor and collate other outcomes and achievements of the organisation.

Regional Youth and Community Director
OASIS UK – Youth and Community (OCP)

Permanent, full-time post, 40 hours per week, inclusive of breaks 

Salary: £51,959 per annum (£54,669 p.a. London Weighting for London based staff)

At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for Youth and Community Directors to join our team supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in neighbourhoods in the following regions;

- London and South East (North, Central and South London and Kent - five local Oasis charities)

- North West (Greater Manchester – two local charities, and two regionwide youth violence contracts)

- North East (NE Lincs, Humber, Bradford and Sheffield – four local charities)

With accountability to the Oasis CEO for Youth and Community the role of the regional Youth and Community Director will have three main functions:

1 Strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams

2 Regional development, working alongside other functions within the Oasis family

3 Being part of the national Youth and Community leadership team

The Youth and Community Director will have strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams in the region, providing accountability and support to the local leaders and charity boards. This responsibility area falls into two categories; those the Director is directly responsible for, and those they are responsible for ensuring are carried out by those within their region.

The Youth and Community function of Oasis is responsible for the wider community work that takes place within Oasis neighbourhoods, working closely with the other functions of Oasis to outwork our vision. In relation to governance, Oasis Community Partnerships is the national charity, with each local team operating from their own local Oasis charity.

Ashinaga UK is seeking a driven, proactive and detailed-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. This part-time role (4 days per week) is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Ashinaga UK, supporting internal administrative, financial, compliance, student recruitment and programming functions as we aim to empower future Young Leaders for Africa through the Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI). The Operations Manager will work closely with the Managing Director, Programme Manager and Partnerships Manager to ensure the organisation runs effectively and efficiently. The Ashinaga UK team is small but motivated to see orphaned youth empowered.

The Ashinaga movement was founded in Japan in the 1960s and has since expanded across the globe, empowering over 110,000 orphaned youth with access to education and support to achieve their full potential. The Ashinaga Africa Initiative was launched 10 years ago with the aim of equipping future leaders for Africa through undergraduate scholarships and leadership development opportunities. Key Responsibilities 

• Work closely with the Managing Director to ensure efficient operations and resource management.
• Support the team in executing strategy, scholarship programmes, and fundraising initiatives.
• Develop and optimise operational processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Lead on financial administration, including processing invoices, expense tracking, liaising with accountants and budget forecasting.
• Coordinate outsourced support including Bookkeeping & Accounting, Audit, IT, and act as organisation’s key point of contact.
• Programme operations related to scholarship events, such as logistical support, coordinating travel and accommodation for Scholars and staff, administrative tasks, and summer internship grant approvals.
• Support scholarship recruitment, including application assessment, interviews, and liaising with university partners.
• Manage digital systems (CRM, project management tools) and data for both internal and Scholar use.
• Lead data management and support various reporting requirements (Trustees, Donors, Charity Commission).
• Support the Director to ensure compliance with charity regulations, health and safety standards, GDPR, and risk management.

Essential Criteria 

• Right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas.
• Role is based in London, however applicants throughout the UK are encouraged to apply. The role requires travelling to London or elsewhere in the UK from time to time. 
• Availability to work weekends on the rare occasion, such as for our annual student leadership events.
• Strong administrative and strategic experience.

Desired Criteria 

• Previous EA, Office Manager, Admin Manager, and/or Operations experienece
• Knowledge of charity law and regulations. 
• Bookkeeping and financial reporting experience.
• Experience coordinating or supporting with events, such as charity programmes, donor receptions, corporate sponsor events, and webinars. 
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational objectives. 
• Able to efficiently use a wide range of online tools, including spreadsheets, databases, and cloud-based applications. 
• Experience using CRM systems to manage and analyse data and produce reports. 
• Fundraising or programme management experience is a plus.

The Role

As Heritage Centre Manager, you’ll provide strategic leadership and hands-on operational management, ensuring the Centre continues to thrive as an inclusive, engaging, and financially resilient space. Desirable Experience

· Knowledge of local history, particularly the industrial and waterways heritage of Nottinghamshire.

· Familiarity with the governance and operation of heritage or cultural organisations.
