We're looking for a Community Fundraising Officer, based at our rehoming centre in Harefield, West London, to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and deliver excellent customer care for all Dogs Trust supporters, but particularly potential and existing legacy pledgers.
What does this role do?
As Community Fundraising Officer, you’ll:
- link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs,
- feed into various income streams through these relationships, identifying prospects in the community and develop a pipeline of future donors and legacy donations,
- steward existing and potential donors, always providing them with a seamless supporter journey, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the work we do and feel motivated to support our meaningful local work,
- organise supporter events, talks and tours both onsite and externally.
- completing all administration related to donations to the centre, including thanking and banking.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 6th July 2026, and will take place at our rehoming centre in Harefield.
Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some community fundraising experience, with the ability to build connections and connect with the local community. To do this, you’ll need excellent communication skills and be able to confidently approach and interact with supporters. While you’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team, you’ll be regularly be working independently, so strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.
This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday and Tuesdays, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.

As Gaming Partnerships Executive, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing gaming partners, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and maximise their involvement in War Child campaigns. You will also support new business development, helping to build a strong pipeline of prospective partners and contributing to outreach, pitching and securing new collaborations.
Working closely with the Gaming Lead and wider Philanthropy and Partnerships department, you will help shape and deliver innovative campaigns at the intersection of gaming, streaming and digital fundraising. This includes supporting key partnerships such as Jingle Jam and contributing to campaign planning and delivery across the gaming calendar.
You will act as a visible ambassador for War Child within the gaming industry, attending events, building new connections and raising the profile of our work to unlock new opportunities for collaboration and income generation.
As part of our growing Philanthropy and Partnerships department, you will work closely with colleagues across Partnerships, Communications and Digital Marketing to develop strong pitches, proposals and activations that deliver real impact for children affected by war.
The team regularly comes together in our London office for collaboration, meetings and relationship-building, and the successful candidate will be expected to attend these in person where appropriate.

Your role
The Gaming Partnerships Executive will work closely with the Gaming Lead to grow the team’s income sustainably by focusing primarily on business development and managing a portfolio of gaming relationships. You will seek out and build new relationships with developers, games publishers, platforms and gaming communities to contribute to the pipeline of new gaming partnerships and opportunities for War Child. You will also manage a portfolio of gaming relationships that will be called on to join our campaigns and activations throughout the year. As a key member of War Child’s award-winning Gaming team, you will have a direct impact on the lives of children who have been affected by conflict.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of gaming sector relationships, developing long-term engagement plans and identifying opportunities in support of our campaigns to increase strategic and income value..
- Support the delivery of our strategic partnership with Jingle Jam, as directed by the Gaming Partnerships Manager.
- With the Gaming Lead, build a pipeline of prospective gaming partners inclusive of developers, publishers, creators, platforms and the wider gaming community to support the sustainable growth of the Gaming Team.
- Personally lead on researching, approaching and securing new gaming partners, working towards your own new business target annually.
- Contribute to the development of pitches, proposals, cultivation plans and presentations to potential gaming partners
- Work collaboratively with the Gaming Team on developing and implementing the campaigns calendar.
- Build strong relationships with other teams in War Child (Partnerships, Communications, Digital Marketing), representing the Gaming Team where appropriate in working groups to enable smooth delivery of propositions, pitches, activations and campaigns.
- Act as a War Child Ambassador in the gaming industry, attending events and conferences to raise the profile of War Child and make new connections to support business development.
- Support the marketing and promotion of all gaming activations to maximise audience engagement.
- Contribute to team-wide income forecasting and annual planning processes.
- Use all tools available to ensure compliance and our ethical fundraising policy are adhered to, this includes partnership agreements, due diligence processes, CRM database management as well as GDPR and fundraising regulations.

- Knowledgeable about gaming or have worked in the sector and can demonstrate understanding of how to harness gaming communities and the industry more widely for fundraising purposes.

Manage all new donor streams for the Trust, including mail, email, regular giving, mid-value supporters, and legacy prospects, while delivering multi-channel campaigns and creating strong welcome journeys. Convert one-off donors into regular givers, ensure smooth transition to long-term stewardship, and develop strategies to grow legacy and in-memory giving.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Develop and implement the Trust’s strategy across regular giving, one of donors, mid value and legacy pledgers to acquire and steward new donors. Working with the other Individual Giving Manager and in consultation with the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
2. Prepare and monitor the annual income and expenditure budget with support from the Head of Fundraising.
3. Responsible for delivering existing integrated campaigns spanning direct-mail, partially addressed mail, inserts, telephone acquisition and digital channels against the agreed schedules, targets and budgets.
4. Work closely with the Database Manager (and relevant agencies) on criteria for data selections, data extractions and supply.
5. Measure attrition in key acquisition groups as well as other key metrics on an ongoing basis and develop strategies to reactivate and mitigate against donor attrition.
6. Work with a creative agency on campaigns across all Individual Giving streams, testing and adapting regularly to optimise results.
7. Work with the other Individual Giving Manager focused on retention, Database Manager and the appointed fulfilment house to ensure that supporters are managed to the highest level of donor care standards and GDPR guidelines.
8. Continue to develop the regular giving acquisition proposition to grow each segment of supporters and negate attrition.
9. Maximise Gift Aid income from the acquisition appeals.
10. Working with Legacy Administration team lead on legacy marketing.
11. Remain current on developments to GDPR, especially to consent and ensure all campaigns comply with those guidelines.
12. As appropriate, to support and participate in any fundraising event organised by the Trust.
13. Undertake other tasks as appropriate as directed by the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role
CoppaFeel! is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Executive to play an essential role in our Partnerships Team. This role will play a key role in supporting the execution of our new business strategy; identifying leads to build a strong prospect pipeline, creating proposals and pitching to secure exciting and impactful new partnerships for CoppaFeel!.
You will be the first point of contact when enquiries arrive from our website or our corporate inbox and you will manage the stewardship and donor journey of these leads.
The Corporate Partnerships Executive will sit within the Partnerships Team as part of the Fundraising Directorate, and will work closely with the other Corporate Partnerships Executive and Corporate Partnerships Manager. They will report to the Corporate Partnerships Manager. This role will support the team with stewardship of existing partners and fundraisers as well as administration; such as sending invoices, writing thank you letters, sending out fundraising materials, and much more. This role also will be required to attend fundraising and partnership events to represent CoppaFeel!.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

THE CHARITY
Suicide is the leading cause of death of men under 35 and three quarters of those who die by suicide are men. James’ Place exists to save the lives of men in suicidal crisis through delivering clinical services. We are a charity currently offering free, life-saving therapy to suicidal men at our centres in Liverpool, London and Newcastle.
James’ Place was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts but didn’t find it.
James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. We offer men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centres and in our outside spaces, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families. We have so far treated over 5,100 men who might otherwise have been unable to access the support they desperately need.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a new role designed to raise and facilitate fundraising for James’ Place Liverpool and to grow community and voluntary sector relationships across the region to raise awareness of James’ Place to drive referrals to our Liverpool centre.
As part of the Fundraising team, you will take a leading role in building strong networks across Liverpool and the North West, helping to establish our centre as a sustainable source of life-saving support for men in suicidal crisis.
The postholder will spend 50% of their time working collaboratively and taking responsibility for establishing fundraising activity across the North West with appropriate support from centre staff and fundraising colleagues, the Head of Fundraising and Communications, Director of Fundraising and External Affairs and the Chief Executive and Trustees. They will spend 40% of their time building community-based relationships with the aim of raising awareness to drive referrals to the centre, working closely with the Head of Centre Liverpool and the Centre Manager in Liverpool to do so. It is recognised that this will vary week to week depending on the current needs of the organisations.
This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to grow their skills and career while helping to secure the funding and relationships needed to achieve the charity’s long-term goals.
Direct Fundraising Work 50%
- Develop and grow a network of local donors - (including HNWI, corporates, community fundraisers as well as Trusts and Foundations) volunteer supporters and influencers across the North West with a view to increasing the fundraising reach of the organisation.
- Steward existing donors volunteers and prospects to secure long-term multi-year support.
- Support community engagement and attend fundraising events to help achieve the organisation’s fundraising ambitions.
- Identify regional funding opportunities and support with the preparation and submission of grant applications and funding proposals.

Direct Outreach Work 40%
- Support Heads of Centre to identify and engage with a range of partner organisations across Liverpool and the North West, helping to raise awareness of the charity’s work.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local statutory, voluntary, and community sector organisations, acting as a professional and approachable representative of the charity.
- Assist with partnership activity, including attending meetings, forums, and events, to share information about services and strengthen local connections.
- Help to coordinate partnership communications and ensure relevant information about the charity’s work is shared clearly and consistently with external partners.

James’ Place was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts but didn’t find it.
James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. We offer men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centres and in our outside spaces, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families. We have so far treated over 5,100 men who might otherwise have been unable to access the support they desperately need.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a new role designed to raise and facilitate fundraising for James’ Place Birmingham and to grow community and voluntary sector relationships across the region to raise awareness of James’ Place to drive referrals to our Birmingham centre.
As part of the Fundraising team, you will take a leading role in building strong networks across Birmingham and the West Midlands, helping to establish our centre as a sustainable source of life-saving support for men in suicidal crisis.
The postholder will spend 50% of their time working collaboratively and taking responsibility for establishing fundraising activity across the West Midlands with appropriate support from centre staff and fundraising colleagues, the Head of Fundraising and Communications, Director of Fundraising and External Affairs and the Chief Executive and Trustees. They will spend 40% of their time building community-based relationships with the aim of raising awareness to drive referrals to the centre, working closely with the Head of Centre Birmingham and the Centre Manager in Birmingham to do so. It is recognised that this will vary week to week depending on the current needs of the organisations.

The Role
The Fundraising Manager will:

Salary: £36,700-£40,000 FTE depending on experience, pro rata to £22,000-£24,000

Hours: 0.6 FTE (3 days/21 hours per week). Office hours are 10am - 6pm with occasional evenings and weekends. Flexible working opportunities are available.
Who are The Outrunners?
The Outrunners are a running and movement charity based in Hackney, on a mission to empower young people through movement. Backed by an incredible crew of volunteers and partner brands like Nike and Moju, we help young people in East London to build confidence, wellbeing, health and leadership skills.
We deliver free, fun, sociable, youth‑led running and movement sessions for 8–18 year olds every week - during term time and holidays. But we’re about more than just running. We create space for young people to explore creativity and culture, go on exciting trips, access wraparound wellbeing support, and develop the skills and opportunities they need to shape the futures they want.
Over the past five years, we’ve supported thousands of young people and helped push greater diversity within the running world.

Our achievements
We’re a small charity but we pack a mighty punch. Our income has grown year-on-year since we became a charity 6 years ago - allowing us to expand our core team and move into office premises large enough to incorporate a Youth Hub. Last year we worked with over 1,150 young people through our school and communities programs, and this year we’re looking to expand our work even further!
To give you a sense of the kinds of work that we do, over the last year we have:

Hosted a free Girls’ Festival for 100+ ethnically diverse young girls, allowing them to try running sessions, creative classes and yoga experiences in a safe and empowering environment.

Hosted free training academies for ethnically diverse women and young people aged 16-21 to train for their very first half or full marathons! We offered physical, emotional and logistical support throughout their training journey and cheered on every single one of them as they ran either the Hackney Half or the London Marathon under the Outrunners name. Since programme launch, we have worked with over 250 people in our Academies.

Took diverse groups of young people to races and events, such as Hackney School run and Black to the Trails.

Offered personalised mentoring to several of our young people who were struggling with school or life.

Expanded the career horizons of young people by offering them a free work experience opportunity with our partner brands.
What do we want?
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser for a strategic and hands-on role who loves working in a small, ambitious charity and wants to help shape the next stage of growth at The Outrunners (current annual income circa £350k).
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead on income generation, with a primary focus on trusts and foundations, while growing a more diverse and sustainable income mix through corporate partnerships, community fundraising and individual giving.
You will translate the lived experiences, energy and impact of our young people and programmes into compelling funding propositions. You’ll support the CEO to build genuine, long‑term relationships with funders and partners who believe in movement, equity and opportunity for young people - and who want to be part of something fresh, joyful and youth‑led.

Experience and skills we’re looking for

5+ years’ experience in fundraising, ideally within a small or growing charity.

Proven success securing income from trusts and foundations, including prospect research, high‑quality bid writing and effective funder stewardship.

Strong understanding of what drives successful grant applications, from alignment and evidence to storytelling and relationships.

Experience developing or contributing to diversified income streams, such as corporate partnerships, community fundraising or individual giving.

Ability to manage income pipelines and use systems/CRMs to track fundraising activity and performance.

Sound understanding of fundraising regulation and best practice.

Confident relationship‑builder with experience engaging funders, partners or senior stakeholders.

Strong storytelling and written communication skills, with the ability to combine impact data, lived experience and insight into compelling cases for support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising Strategy & Income Growth (with Chief Executive)

Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy aligned with The Outrunners’ strategic goals and values.
-
Grow and diversify income streams, with a focus on increasing unrestricted and sustainable income.

Create and manage an annual fundraising workplan to deliver agreed income targets.
-
Work closely with the Chief Executive on pipeline management, forecasting and income planning.

Regularly review progress, learn from outcomes and adapt approaches as needed.
2. Trusts & Foundations (Primary Income Lead)

Lead and manage a pipeline of trust and foundation applications, from prospect research to reporting.

Research, cultivate and secure grants aligned to The Outrunners’ youth‑led movement work.

Write high‑quality, compelling funding applications and reports.

Work closely with youth programme staff to gather outcomes, case studies and impact data.

Build strong, professional relationships with funders through excellent stewardship.

Develop approaches that encourage funder renewal, uplift and long‑term support.
3. Corporate Partnerships (Growth area)

Support the development of relationships with values‑aligned corporate partners and brands.

Identify opportunities for corporate grants, sponsorship, employee fundraising, volunteering and matched funding.

Shape clear and inspiring partnership pitches with cases for support that connect partner goals with youth wellbeing, movement and equity.

Work with colleagues to ensure corporate partnerships are meaningful, well‑supported and mutually beneficial.
4. Community & Individual Giving (Growth area)

Support the growth of The Outrunners’ individual giving base, including regular and mid‑level donors, working with CEO and Admin Lead.

Develop donor stewardship approaches that support repeat and long‑term giving.

Explore opportunities with local communities, supporter networks and high‑net‑worth individuals.
5. Impact, Systems & Compliance

Work with our Admin Lead to maintain accurate records across fundraising and income tracking systems (CRM).

Contribute fundraising content across our website, donor platforms and communications channels, working closely with Marketing & Comms.

Support the creation of impact reports and case studies that reflect young people’s lived experience ethically and sensitively.

Ensure compliance with fundraising regulation and best practice.

Stay informed about sector trends and test new tools or approaches appropriate for a small charity.

The Fundraising Manager will lead across community fundraising, individual giving and trusts and foundations — with community and individual giving as the primary focus. The tools are in place. The mission is compelling. The stories are extraordinary. Thrive already has the reach, the relationships and the centenary momentum. What's missing is the right person to build the pipeline and turn that momentum into lasting income.
The target: 2,000 active supporters by year end, with a clear pathway to converting them into regular givers over time.
What you'll be doing:
- Building a structured community fundraising programme — creating frameworks that enable supporters, staff and volunteers to fundraise on Thrive's behalf
- Growing the individual giving base from a low starting point — developing supporter journeys, regular giving and stewardship
- Managing a grants pipeline and writing compelling applications to trusts and foundations
- Leading digital acquisition campaigns in partnership with the marketing team
- Line managing the Fundraising Administrator and helping them develop grant-writing skills over time
- Helping build a fundraising culture across the organisation where frontline staff feel part of the story
What we're looking for:
- A track record in community fundraising, individual giving or events fundraising
- Some experience of trusts and foundations — this doesn't need to be your primary specialism
- Strong written skills — the ability to translate real human stories into compelling fundraising copy
- A self-starter who works well with autonomy in a small team
- Genuine connection to Thrive's mission and the communities it serves
- Based in Somerset or within easy reach of Taunton — primarily home-based with approximately one day per week in the office
