Role Overview 

The role is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support across the organisation, covering recruitment, onboarding, training, and support for performance management and employee relations. It includes managing volunteer processes and working closely with both internal managers and external HR and payroll providers. The postholder will play a key role in maintaining effective HR systems, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities 

• Managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multi-disciplinary teams; including recruitment, onboarding, DBS checking, training and development, absence, performance management and leavers.
• Ongoing development, coordination, and oversight of SCT’s volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and administration in collaboration with SCT’s managers.
• Working closely with SCT’s outsourced HR support.
• Providing SCT managers with guidance on volunteer recruitment and any management issues.
• Implementing, maintaining and reviewing an annual training plan for all employees.
• Maintaining up-to-date staff files and HR system records including DBS validation, handling confidential employee and volunteer data in line with data protection legislation.

• Working with SCT’s Business Operations Officer to ensure accurate information is provided to SCT’s outsourced payroll administrators to ensure accuracy of all relevant information.

Person Specification 

• CIPD qualified to level 5 or significant HR Management experience will also be considered

• 3+ years demonstrable generalist HR Management experience or similar role types

• Experience of presenting material and report writing to a range of audiences

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including onboarding, training, performance management, absence, and leaver procedures.

Do you have experience in generating and sustaining charitable giving from individuals and nurturing a Friends scheme in the Arts education sector? The primary focus for the new role is to generate sustainable charitable giving from individuals, maintaining and growing our Friends memberships and developing significant income from major donors. We are a leading choral singing organisation and run residential summer courses for children and young people. Our artistic director, Ralph Allwood, founded the organisation 45 years ago, since when over 10,000 young people have benefited from our life-changing courses. Nowadays, around one third of students receive generous bursary support to attend a course and we also work with a range of partner organisations to encourage even more young people from diverse backgrounds to take part in our choral singing courses. We want to secure the future of the organisation and increase the number of students we can support by significantly growing our individual  giving.

The main duties and responsibilities for the Heads of Development role are as follows:

INDIVIDUAL GIVING

· Maintain and build relationships with our donors, and identify new individuals who would like to see the Rodolfus Choral Foundation thrive

· Use contacts from the artistic director and trustees to generate new donors

·  Ensure that our top and potential donors are well looked after and researched, passing on key information to the Artistic Director and, where appropriate, arranging meetings between him and our donors

· Help establish a legacy giving scheme for Rodolfus

Ways of Working:

The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter).  This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team and is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building.

We are looking for a Senior Mental Health Advocate – Neurodiversity Specialist

Salary: £29,000- £32,000

Location: Advance Head Office Hammersmith & Women’s Centres across London, with co- location at HMP Bronzefield

Hours: 35 Hours per week

About the role:

This is a great chance to be a part of a service working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield to identify and support women who are identified as being neurodiverse and will be returning to the community. Of that cohort, the Advocate will focus support on women with a mental health need and improve their transition into the community, with ongoing community support; including collaborating with other healthcare professionals to their develop support plans.

The Senior MH Advocate will work in a multi-disciplinary way, including attending the weekly complex case meeting and/or the Safety Intervention Meeting (SIM) as appropriate, they will act as a specialist member of the wider Minerva Criminal Justice Service - London team, to facilitate a pathway for women with complex needs including mental health and neurodiversity needs. The Senior Advocate will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. They will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling to support them to address their needs and any risks. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women.

The Senior Mental Health Advocate will be based in the community and will provide a drop-in service (1-2 day per week) in HMP Bronzefield to support women who are close to release. The role will also include line management of other advocates such as; Specialist Prison & Probation Advocates who will be based in the prison and the Loss & Bereavement Worker who will be providing support in the prison as well as in the community.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential

About You:

To be successful as the Senior Mental Health Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

An excellent understanding of mental health, neurodiversity needs violence against women and girls and its links to women in the criminal justice system

Experience of managing/supervising a team of advocates/caseworkers – and leading a team to achieve targets & outcomes as well as appropriately managing and leading the team on any safeguarding concerns/incidents.

You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.

You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.

About the role 

This is a key role in providing administration and organisational support to the CEO and the Board. The successful candidate must have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative skills, and the ability to maintain a balance among multiple priorities. This is a part-time position with flexibility on the number of days worked each week, with a minimum of one to two days in the office.

As our Befriending Service Coordinator, you will lead the further development and coordination of our befriending offer, working closely with volunteers and service users. We are looking for someone to join our Young People Learning team to support the coordination of our programmes for young people across England and Wales.

We are looking for someone with a passion for empowering young people and understanding of school’s curricula in England and Wales to coordinate.  Your role ensures that operational delivery plans are implemented in your defined area, meeting all targets and KPIs.  There is a significant external remit, and you will be expected to pro-actively manage relationships with schools and Local Authorities, to support schools as they participate in our programmes.

You will monitor the quality and impact of our programmes, ensuring this is captured and fed back to our Facilitators and Young People Development Lead to ensure continuous improvement.  You will also be working together with the rest of the Young People Learning team to coordinate activity, such as Workshops, Dragons’ Dens and Awards, to ensure a clearly mapped out timetable.  To support the Young People Administrator in scheduling activity, you will be expected to pass-on details from schools and partners in a timely manner.

You will also have opportunities to work with colleagues across the business, for example colleagues in sales and partnerships, to implement delivery plans as agreed by external partners and funders.

In addition to the ongoing remit of the job description, the post holder will work towards individual goals/outcomes as agreed with the line manager and aligned to the annual organisational business plan.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the delivery of successful events for our young people, such as Awards and Dragons’ Dens, and responsible for implementing plans, coordination and logistical arrangements.

· Ensure effective recruitment and retention of schools and young people, driving impact and engagement in allocated areas through developing and maintaining operational level relationships and customer service.

· Responsible for gathering and collating evaluation data and case study information during programme delivery and at events to evidence impact.

· Maintain up to date records on our CRM system, HubSpot, and impact data on Microsoft Forms and SharePoint.  

· Providing accurate management information and case studies for reporting to external stakeholders.

· Gathering intelligence and local insight, needs and funding opportunities to help inform the overall UK Young People sales and strategy.

· Work collaboratively with fellow Coordinators to lead the continuous improvement and innovation of processes and procedures, enhancing efficiency while developing your capability, confidence, and skills.
