About the Schools Consent Project

The Schools Consent Project is a charity that sends lawyers into schools to teach 11–18-year-olds aboutconsent and key sexual offences. Education is prevention: by introducing consent-literacy in classrooms, youngpeople grow up making more informed, ethical decisions and are less likely to experience – or perpetrate –sexual violence in later life.

As we continue to scale, we are seeking an ambitious and proactive Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to helpsecure the resources and relationships that will enable us to reach more young people across the UK.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Founder, the Fundraising & Partnerships Manager will lead the charity’s fundraising andpartnership development activity across a range of income streams, including trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors and individual giving.

Team: Delivery NCN

As Project Manager for the National Cycle Network (NCN), you will lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of active travel projects across the Midlands. This role brings together project management, technical knowledge, community engagement and strategic thinking to help improve the National Cycle Network and associated infrastructure. You will work closely with colleagues, local authorities, community groups and other partners to deliver projects that create positive, sustainable outcomes for people and places. The role requires strong organisation, clear communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities while building effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Around 500 million walking, wheeling and cycling journeys are made on the National Cycle Network each year, helping connect people, communities and the places that matter most to them. The Walk Wheel Cycle Trust created the National Cycle Network through collaboration with communities, volunteers, supporters and hundreds of organisations across the UK. As custodians of the network, we are responsible for maintaining and improving it while shaping a long-term vision for its future. Our goal is to make walking, wheeling and cycling safer, more accessible and more inclusive, enabling more people to choose active travel as part of their everyday lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the delivery of National Cycle Network infrastructure projects, overseeing design, construction and implementation from planning through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, working collaboratively to develop and deliver projects identified within the Network Development Plan.
• Support the development and growth of the project pipeline by identifying opportunities and helping to progress projects from concept to delivery.

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) is a well-established and respected national charity offering specialist and expert advocacy and peer support to families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse. We have an exciting opportunity to build upon and grow our fundraising success to date, in the role ofFundraising and Grants Manager. We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional, with the drive and determination to manage all aspects of our fundraising function.

AAFDA is currently funded by statutory bodies, trusts and foundations, corporates, events and individuals. Under your management, you will identify, cultivate and grow these existing and new fundraising streams.As AAFDA’s Fundraising and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for oversight and growth of voluntary and statutory funding income, including from individuals (regular and one-off gifts, major donors and legacy giving), community groups, trusts and foundations, corporates, the statutory sector (including Police and Crime Commissioners) and other benefactors. Starting from a strong foundation with multiple opportunities for growth, you will lead on the delivery of our ambitious, multi-year, multi-disciplinary fundraising strategy with an annual fundraising plan agreed with senior management.  With keen funder and customer awareness, you will regularly monitor and review both the plan and the strategy, in addition to working closely with our Finance Manager to manage diverse income streams and achieve income targets to fund AAFDA’s unique support and advocacy work with families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse.  Holding responsibility for maintaining and developing the website and building social media programmes, you will undertake an ambassadorial approach in all activity to assist our CEO and Director of Services to lead and manage the AAFDA brand and corporate identity, with a focus on generating earned income, by extending awareness of what AAFDA does and how successful we are.

The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a UK-wide voluntary organisation and charity that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people in farming and ‘walk with’ people at times of difficulty and change. We have been described as a ‘lifeline’ and a ‘trusted friend’ by people we have helped, and support over 12,500 people in agriculture each year with a wide range of issues.

We are recruiting a part-time Trust Fund and Legacy Development Manager. You will be reporting to the Head of Partnerships.

You will build vital relationships with Trusts, Foundations and other grant providers, generating income and helping to ensure the financial sustainability of the charity.  

You will also focus on increasing the volume and value of legacies left to FCN and nurturing these relationships and opportunities.

Trusts:

- Lead on the development and delivery of a new trust fundraising strategy.

- Identify, research and write compelling applications to meet and / or exceed income targets.

- Oversight and management of relationships with existing and new trusts and foundations and delivering funding reports to a high and consistent standard, including evaluating impact.

- Writing and submitting high-quality bids and tailored proposals to secure charity funding from trusts, foundations, grant providers and other sources.

JFF currently operates within the Church Urban Fund (CUF) group, which has supported our development and provides a number of shared services. We are now preparing to become an independent charity and this new role will play a central part in making that transition work.

Working closely with our Director and trustees, you will help coordinate the move to independence while building the governance, systems and ways of working we need as a small, well-run charity.

This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who enjoys making organisations work better. What you will do:

• Conduct Approved Provider assessments, which includes going into brain injury residential units and assessing the services they provide and making recommendations, to improve practice against the framework.
• Writing and reviewing reports for Approved Provider units, following assessments, that clearly highlight strengths and areas for development.
• Contributing to the development and growth of Headway UK’s Approved Provider scheme, by continuing to drive forward standards and onboarding new units.
• Working with freelance Lead Assessors and Service User Perspective Assessors (who are brain injury survivors or family members) who are based around the UK, to organise assessments and ensure the schemes standards are upheld.

About you

• Prior experience of working in the field of acquired brain injury.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, clinical psychology, physiotherapy, nursing, social work).
• Ability to write and moderate written reports of high quality and clarity, to provide accurate and accessible feedback.
• Very good IT skills, including be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams).
• Ability to gain the trust, confidence, and respect at all levels within external organisations and staff groups.
• Be an excellent communicator, with new and existing Approved Provider units.

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Manager to lead the launch and delivery of a flagship corporate volunteering and fundraising campaign for The King’s Trust.

This high-profile role sits at the heart of our corporate partnerships’ strategy, driving both employee engagement and income growth across a portfolio of valued partners. The income generated through this campaign will help fund a bold new initiative at The King’s Trust; one that will inspire businesses, communities, and volunteers to come together and support young people to thrive. You will work closely with corporate stakeholders to build strong relationships, unlock opportunities, and create compelling campaigns that inspire employees to take action and maximise impact.

Working alongside the Head of Corporate Volunteering, you will lead planning and execution, bringing together internal teams, corporate partners, and external stakeholders to deliver seamless, engaging experiences. From developing innovative engagement strategies and managing communications, to overseeing events, budgets, and performance reporting, you will ensure every aspect of the campaign delivers against commercial objectives, generates income, and supports organisational goals.

A key part of the role will be identifying and pitching new ideas, initiatives and engagement opportunities to corporate partners, helping them deepen their involvement and achieve their own social impact ambitions. You'll work closely with the Corporate Partnerships team, providing creative solutions, campaign expertise and strategic support to help unlock new fundraising, volunteering and partnership growth opportunities across their portfolios.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK Portfolio at an ambitious moment of shaping the next phase of our strategy. We are looking for two experienced managers to join us for two fixed term Portfolio Manager roles (12-month FTC and FTC until 31 March 2027) who will form part of a team of around 40 in total.

The UK Portfolio supports the ambitions and potential of communities across the UK.  We focus on scaling projects with a UK-wide benefit, through significant investments and partnerships, which enable systems-level change for communities. Our funding is intended to complement the work of other country portfolios: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Our Portfolio Managers support the delivery of the UK Portfolio strategy through managing the design and delivery of funding programmes, helping shape and deliver new partnerships and investments, as well as managing our team of Funding Officers. You will be one of 10 Portfolio Managers and report to one of our senior team, working closely with them to deliver the UK Portfolio strategy now and as we move into the next phase.

Our current work includes:

• TheUK Fund: offers long term funding to support organisations to scale proven work and approaches against two main themes: connected communities and youth voice. Funded projects consistently focus on systems change, community power and voice.
• Climate Action Fund: supports UK-wide ambitious, partnership-led approaches to climate and environmental challenges, bringing together organisations to deliver long-term change at scale.
• Working in partnership with others: Examples include Communities for Children, focused on tackling child poverty, Together for Families, supporting early intervention for children and families. We are also developing new areas of work that explore the opportunities and implications of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.

Role Expectations

We are looking for experienced managers who are confident in managing and developing others, managing performance and adept at managing a varied workload from across our funding lifecycle to new funding investments and partnerships.

You will first and foremost be a people manager, with the skills and experience of navigating operational delivery from budgets, resourcing and risk, for example, to ensuring quality delivery of our work and supporting a culture that enables people to thrive.

You could be working across any of our programmes and developing areas of work but an interest in our current funding programmes and areas of development is essential. If you have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing communities across the UK, these roles are for you.

All managers will have blended roles that combine people and some operational responsibilities, as well as involvement in developing areas of work. The variety of responsibilities could include:

• Line managing and developing Funding Officers, supporting performance, wellbeing and ensuring their continuous development and professional growth
• Ensuring operational excellence through resource and operational management: including across our funding programmes and partnerships, including managing budgets, risk and reporting  
• Overseeing the end-to-end funding programme process: including monitoring programme performance, assuring the quality of funding recommendations and decisions and ensuring a high-quality and consistent experience for customers and stakeholders.
• Contributing to the development of new funding approaches, partnerships and investment opportunities.
• Working closely with teams and colleagues across The Fund to ensure our work is connected into and adds value.
• Championing The Fund's values and behaviours, promoting inclusion, collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will need to work collectively and very closely with the other managers each day as to how responsibilities and workstream leads are agreed and managed.

We're looking for people with practical experience of the funding and grant-making environment, who can bring their sound judgement relating to this to the team. You will also bring strong analytical, project and stakeholder and relationship management skills, alongside the ability to be adaptable and comfortably work at pace.

You’ll be joining a dynamic and welcoming geographically dispersed team, working with hugely important and fascinating projects that are responding to and addressing a wide range of topics across the Fund’s four community-led missions.

Due to our dispersed nature as a team, it is expected that there will be occasional travel in order to connect with colleagues, stakeholders and projects. This is likely to be one to two occasions per month.

Natural Capital Assessment Partnership

The Natural Capital Assessment Partnership (NCAP) has operated for over 30 years. Formerly the Habitat Biodiversity Audit, a key remit of NCAP has been to survey and gather habitat data across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull, combining ecological field surveys with pioneering satellite imagery and remote sensing analysis. A second key aspect of NCAP’s work is managing the Local Wildlife Sites programme for the region.

Data acquired and produced by the team supports Local Wildlife Site designations, Local Nature Recovery Strategy development and monitoring, and creates baseline habitat reports and statistics.  This localised yet UK-leading dataset provides robust evidence for decision-making and monitoring, plus a unique record of land-use change over the past two decades. Combined with Biological Records Centre species data, it offers an unrivalled picture of the local state of nature.

The role
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising & Communications, you will lead the delivery and development of our events and community fundraising programme, helping to maximise supporter engagement and income growth.

• Lead and develop Ataxia UK's community and events fundraising activities
