Job Summary
The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will build relationships with key corporate partners and provide exceptional stewardship.
Responsible for a varied and fulfilling portfolio of accounts, some of which raise six figure sums.
This position, in the Corporate and Community team, builds relationships with companies to deliver and exceed income targets and the organisation's CSR goals.
Working collaboratively towards a "one team one target" approach across the Fundraising and Engagement department, the postholder will ensure that the use of technology is maximised and all processes are subject to continuous improvement.
Areas of Responsibility
• Work collaboratively with partners to plan and deliver engagement and fundraising plans
• Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, offering exceptional account management
• Identify key decision makers and use strong consultative and negotiation skills to articulate the benefits of a partnership and the organisation
• Provide excellent supporter stewardship to engage supporters and ensure agreed fundraising objectives are successfully met and if possible exceeded
• Develop and implement plans to secure financial and in-kind support from corporate partners
• Produce impact reports and innovative ways of thanking, ensuring every support feels valued, apprciated and informed
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the corporate fundraising strategy
• Work with the Engagement Team to support the development of partnership campaigns, promotional materials and communications, ensuring alignment with organisational values and brand guidelines
• Respond effectively and promptly to enquiries and requests received directly from potential new supporters and relay information to appropriate internal contacts
• Represent the organsiation at networking events, corporate events and meetings.
The Otakar Kraus Music Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Community & Local Business Fundraiser to help us grow support for our work across Richmond and surrounding areas. OKMT uses music therapy and inclusive music projects to improve the lives of over 500 children and adults each year, including people with disabilities, neurological conditions and dementia.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new role within a small, friendly charity. You will build relationships with local businesses, schools, clubs and community organisations; develop sponsorship and Charity of the Year opportunities; support fundraising events and individual fundraisers; and help inspire more people across our community to support OKMT. We are looking for a confident, warm and self-motivated relationship-builder with experience of fundraising, business development or a related field and a track record of generating income.
