Home-based and offering flexible working, we're talent-spotting for a local children's charity in need of a brilliant Community Fundraising Manager. This role has all the makings of a career developer, with a supportive leadership team and chance to be part of a new vision for fundraising.

Now is an exciting time to join. Investing in the team, the charity has just launched a brand-new Community Fundraising strategy and income is set to rise significantly over the next 5 years. You'll lead on community fundraising across Oxford, Bicester and Thame, managing and recruiting a group of current and prospective supporters.

The new strategy aims to encourage a more proactive and collaborative approach to fundraising - growing 'hot spots', key audiences, in-memory, tribute funds, family relationships and fundraising groups. Working with autonomy and trying new things, you'll be part of exciting new initiatives and projects working with a collaborative, like-minded team.

Creative and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills, you'll have the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects. You'll feel comfortable developing relationships with people via phone, email and in person. Your can-do attitude makes you a pleasure to be around and you're friendly and resourceful.

Ideally, you'll have a proven track record in fundraising, although we're happy to consider proactive and passionate people from business development, account management, sales or customer care backgrounds.

Initial 12-month fixed-term contract with a team investing in growth, so real potential for the role to be extended if you can show that you're indispensable!
