Pause works to improve the lives of women who have had more than one child removed from their care, and the services and systems that affect them.

As Communications and Policy Officer, your role will be to raise awareness and increase understanding of Pause and the experiences of the women we work with in order to achieve positive change at both a national and local level.

This is a new role, sitting within the Partnerships and Engagement team, although you will work with colleagues across the whole organisation.

You will work with the team to influence change by delivering creative communications activity and maintaining excellent working relationships with key stakeholders. This will involve working closely with our Impact and Influencing Lead as well as our colleagues in practice, participation and engagement, so that you can learn from those with lived experience and ensure their voices are at the forefront.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver creative communications to influence change. You also should have a real desire to create positive change in the services and systems that affect the lives of women who have had children removed from their care.

The 999 Club

The 999 Club has stood on the corner of Deptford Broadway for more than 30 years, working with and supporting the local community. Our focus now is on people who are street homeless, rough sleeping or unhoused and those who have no recourse to public funds. As the 999 Club, people who use our services are our members.

The Gateway

Our day centre, The Gateway, is open five days a week and provides a welcoming, safe and friendly space where our members can spend time away from their usual situation and sort out practicalities like getting laundry done, taking a shower, charging their phone and having something to eat. It’s where our Intervention Team are often based as part of their work, empowering our members.

The Intervention Team

Working alongside the Essential Services Team and an amazing team of volunteers the Intervention Team provide triage, assessment, holistic progression planning, advocacy and support for members of the Gateway, identifying and addressing their immediate housing situation as well as wider social, health and wellbeing issues with the ultimate aim of them finding a pathway out of homelessness.

We’re looking to recruit two Intervention Workers – one for complex interventions where there are additional factors. This would best suit someone with experience whilst the brief intervention role would suit someone with transferable skills but little to no experience in the homelessness sector.

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive CRM Project Manager to lead the next phase of our CRM development project.

You’ll operationally manage the delivery of our CRM plan, support the commissioning of a new system, and develop and drive forward a clear implementation strategy. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth delivery, while coordinating training, ensuring compliance, and embedding inclusive practices.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To manage, lead and support the Fundraising and Communications Team to retain donors, increase income and provide clear direction for our communications. Specific Tasks:

• Develop and deliver on a clear fundraising and communications strategy, with annual action plans and clear objectives and KPIs for team members.

• Develop and maintain oversight of all budgets, targets, forecasts and processes relating to fundraising and communications

• Co-ordinate the prioritising of income streams, including community, individual giving, corporate, legacy and trust and grants

• Research, identify, and where there is capacity, pursue income generation opportunities that match the objectives of Action Duchenne

• Ensure Action Duchenne is compliant with all applicable elements of the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, law, and the Charity Commission relating to fundraising

• Research, identify and apply to Trusts and Foundations with a clear pipeline

• To work with the Head of Operations and Events to contribute to Agenda topics and speakers from the community; assign roles for the conference to the Support Team.

• Establish a database for external stakeholders also supporting those living with Duchenne on a national basis, fed in to from the Support Team.

• To develop a triaging and caseload process for the Support Team, and how best to regularly monitor this.

• Be involved in the recruitment, selection, and induction of volunteers appropriate to your area of work. 

• Coordinate cover for the Support Team when there is sickness or leave.

Prostate Cancer Research is a research and patient engagement organisation focused on advancing ground-breaking research and interventions into diagnosis, treatment, and care to create a future where prostate cancer no longer threatens lives. Their focus is on delivering innovative solutions and improving quality of life for patients, families, and communities affected by prostate cancer, supporting and encouraging marginalised and underrepresented communities to be part of the positive changes they are working to achieve in research, treatment and care.

The integral role of Trusts and Statutory Executive will lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners to develop and manage a pipeline of strategic partners giving approximately £5,000 to £20,000, that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. The post will be responsible for proactively researching new trust and statutory funding opportunities and working with the Trusts and Statutory Manager to support and lead on applications to new and existing funding partners (£20,000+). The post-holder will also provide excellent stewardship to build strong and sustainable relationships with the charity’s donors.

The ideal candidate will be a Trusts and Foundations fundraiser with demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funders and partners, understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. You will have a background in identifying and securing at least five-figure income from prospective Trusts and Foundations and statutory income sources, as well of producing high-quality and completing proposals, reports and presentations. You will be able to build and maintain relationships with funders and key stakeholders and have excellent communication and organisational skills, supported by an excellent attention to detail.

Born out of the COVID-19 crisis, DLAG is now one of London’s most dynamic community support networks. We’ve mobilised over 3,000 volunteers to deliver food parcels, household essentials, digital access, and more to thousands of people across Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston.

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and skilled Communications and Fundraising Coordinator to lead the delivery of our comms and fundraising strategies. You'll work alongside a passionate team of staff and volunteers to grow our impact and help drive support for DLAG’s life-changing work.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and wants to play a vital role in strengthening local communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule and deliver marketing plans and social media campaigns
• Prepare and distribute fundraising and donor materials (e.g. newsletters, raffle collateral, digital campaigns)
• Administer JustGiving and Enthuse platforms for campaigns and events
• Coordinate the production of marketing assets with volunteer graphic designers
• Create monthly impact reports and manage marketing dashboards
• Oversee the CRM/database — adding donor, school and corporate contacts
• Support event planning and donor recognition activities
• Line-manage the Volunteer Fundraising Administrator and Newsletter Editor
• Report directly to the Director and work collaboratively with the volunteer marketing team
• Research areas of greatest need in our three boroughs to ensure we continue to reach out to these communities

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in charity communications, fundraising and admin
• Excellent writing and project coordination skills
• Confidence using fundraising platforms and CRM tools
• A self-starter with great time management and attention to detail
• Passionate about community impact and collaboration

3. Corporate Giving: Establish and grow partnerships with value-aligned businesses, creating mutually beneficial relationships that generate income, amplify our mission, and align with our campaigning values.

Thank you for taking an interest in applying for this role at Imperial Health Charity. We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Philanthropy Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you will be part of a small yet passionate 
and dynamic team raising income from major donors, trusts, corporate supporters and statutory bodies. 

You will be responsible for identifying and securing new gifts at the five-figure-plus level as well as delivering impactful stewardship to your own portfolio of major supporters such as through bespoke reports, hospital site tours and invitations to 
exclusive events. 

As a Philanthropy Manager, you will lead on a variety of fundraising propositions that help our hospitals to achieve more for patients, families and the local North West London community. By collaborating with colleagues from across the charity and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, you will oversee campaigns from the early stages all the way through to delivery and evaluation. 

You will also be responsible for achieving your own targets and objectives, as well as providing ongoing monitoring against agreed milestones and KPIs. You will ensure compliance with fundraising best practice at all times in accordance with the 
Fundraising Regulator.
