What the job involves

This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support High Value, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams. As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll enable the integration of high value fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.

Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand and our senior Business Partner in embedding and developing our business partnering model. A major part of the role will be enabling the integration of High Value Fundraising activity into the wider communications plan to enhance results from our communications.

You’ll work closely with our Philanthropy, Corporate Partnerships and Appeal teams to help plan and deliver inspiring communications that support our fundraising strategy. From pitching proposals and event promotion to major appeal campaigns, you’ll help build strong relationships with major donors and partners. You’ll also make sure high value fundraising activity is joined up with our wider communications and campaigns to grow fundraising revenue, support our community and improve outcomes for all men affected by and at risk of prostate cancer.

Please note this role is known internally as Communications Business Partner (High Value Fundraising).

The role of Parks Volunteer Programme coordinator in the Enable Parks team will allow you to demonstrate your skills working with stakeholders and local communities to deliver park improvements, habitat management tasks and one-off volunteering opportunities. Skills and Experience:  

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification) or appropriate experience in a directly related post.
• Experience of working in a volunteer management, coordination or programming role, or similar work delivering practical biodiversity, habitat or landscape management. 
• Proven ability to organise, plan, and manage projects effectively (including budget management, Health and Safety oversight, and environmental monitoring data). 
• Experience of managing / supporting volunteers (delivering soft/hard landscaping improvements with volunteers is desirable.)  
• Experience of developing annual outdoor educational/volunteering programmes for a wide range of participants.
• Entrepreneurial and customer service focussed, to allow the volunteer programme to develop into a sustainable, profitable and scalable service area. 
• The ability to work independently using your own initiative and prioritise effectively whilst at the same time working collaboratively as part of a team on common goals and shared projects to ensure the work programme is delivered effectively.

You will also oversee delivery partners and help develop a major funding application for the next phase of work. Our specialist programme has been designed to be inclusive for all, and includes healthy eating and nutrition, cookery workshops, exercise and wellbeing groups. We also deliver peer support groups and lead the Adult Autism Hub.

Duties will include:

• Working alongside UCAN Enfield partners to co-produce and support the delivery of a programme of health and wellbeing sessions in the community that meet a range of needs from general population to specific conditions
• Attending community activities to meet new potential referrals and engage with participants.
• Managing shared UCAN Enfield Email inbox on a rota basis and loading new referrals onto Charity Log.
• Using Charity Log (CRM) to access and manage referrals by triaging and determining their level of need 1,2,3* and allocating the appropriate support which may include referring to other UCAN Enfield partners or referring to other partners.
• To manage a case load of 25 new referrals per month.
• To work alongside UCAN partners to ensure that referral pathways are established and maintained with GP’s, Enfield community organisations, VCS, Social Care, Health Teams, pharmacies.

The Childhood Trust is London's child poverty charity. We are dedicated to creating opportunities and brighter futures for the 700,000 children growing up in poverty in London. While we work to alleviate today’s impact of poverty, we support children and families to build pathways to become happier, healthier, safer and more resilient, breaking the cycles of inequity. Listening to and engaging with young people who have experience of living in poverty, is critical to ensuring our efforts truly reflect their needs and aspirations. 

As a grant-making charity, we award funding to charities actively supporting children in poverty across the capital. This funding is made possible thanks to the partnerships we build with corporate organisations, other trusts and foundations, philanthropic individuals and families, and public donations. 

Volunteers are a vital part of The Childhood Trust’s work. Through our Transforming Spaces programme, they deliver direct support to children affected by poverty and the communities that support them across London. They also have the potential to grow our internal capacity so that we can reach our ambitious vision to scale our work and ensure that every child in London is well prepared for life. 

As The Childhood Trust’s Volunteer Manager, you’ll be responsible for volunteers across the organisation. Your role will include oversight of the corporate and community volunteers who take part in our Transforming Spaces programme. You will work closely with colleagues in the fundraising team to create a positive and inspiring experience for corporate volunteers. 

Key to this role will be working with the Head of Volunteering and Community Programmes to embed volunteering across The Childhood Trust. You will lead on developing a diverse and inclusive volunteer base of skilled and specialist individual volunteers, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where they feel valued and connected to the mission.

Keychange is a Christian charity supporting older people and homeless communities across nine care and housing sites in England. Our People & Culture (HR) team plays a vital role in creating supportive workplaces so that our care teams can deliver exceptional service.

We’re looking for a People & Culture Administrator to join our small but dynamic central office team. You'll be the friendly first point of contact for HR queries, supporting everything from recruitment and onboarding to payroll prep and wellbeing initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keeping employee records accurate and up to date (Planday & SharePoint)
• Supporting recruitment admin and coordinating onboarding and exits
• Helping managers across our sites with job adverts and employment letters
• Preparing and checking data for payroll accuracy
• Coordinating initiatives like Wellbeing Mentors
• Assisting with the administration of the organisation wide performance management processes (including appraisals and supervisions)
• Supporting internal communications, events, and policy rollouts

You’ll be working closely with our People & Culture Officer, Payroll Lead, and local community managers – a great role if you’re looking to gain broad HR exposure in a values-led organisation.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Solid admin experience – ideally in HR, payroll, or finance
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft 365 (especially Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams)
• A positive, people-first approach – you're helpful, responsive, and discreet

Desirable

• Experience in a charity or care setting
• Knowledge of Planday or other HRIS systems

As Director of Finance you will lead on all financial aspects of the transtion as the Movement for Reform Judaism and Liberal Judaism merge to form a single unified organsation, Progressive Judaism.  This post will provide crucuial oversight during this period of change, laying foundations for strong financial governance and operational excellence in the new entity.

Working closely with CEOs, senior staff and trustees across both organisations, you will oversee the creation and implementation of robust financial systems, controls and reporting lines whilst ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.  Managing and supporting a finance team, you will ensure continuity of outsourced finance services to existing partner organisaitons during the transition as well as ensure continuity of high-quality financial services across both MRJ and LJ.

As a qualified accountant you will have strong exerpeince in charity finance, including SORP and audit preparation.  A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities is essential.  With proven experience in mangaging organisational change or mergers, you will be an excellent people leader with oustanding communicaiton skills.
