Discover! Creative Careers is a government funded, industry-led programme working to ensure there is a larger and more diverse intake of talent into the creative industries via a broader range of routes. The free-to-access hybrid programme of activities and resources offers meaningful encounters with industry professionals, online tools, training, and support throughout the year.
Discover! Creative Careers, also known as the Creative Careers Programme, was kick-started with funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport in 2018 and has been shaped and supported directly by creative businesses, institutions, trade bodies and individuals. The delivery of the programme is led by ScreenSkills in partnership with over 25 organisations and through collaboration with industry, education, and careers professionals.
Discover! Creative Careers, Cymru will provide careers information and employer encounters to young people aged 11-18 and those supporting their careers decisions, with the aim of building a more diverse and inclusive future workforce. The programme will run until the end of March 2026, and will involve working across partners and in collaboration with creative industries organisations across 12 sub-sectors across Wales.
Role Summary
This exciting Project Coordinator role is central to the delivery of Discover! Creative Careers, Cymru, a high-impact initiative designed to open creative sector pathways for young people, particularly those from underrepresented communities.
Working closely with Into Film Cymru’s team and delivery partners, the Project Coordinator will manage the day-to-day planning, logistics, communications, and coordination of Discover! events, workshops, and in-school activity across the nation with support and guidance from the Project Manager.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong bilingual (Welsh/English) communication, and a commitment to inclusive practice.
The successful candidate will ensure smooth delivery of activity during a busy delivery window and support accurate data collection and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of Discover! Creative Careers, Cymru activities in partnership and with support from a wide range of partners. Events to include in-school and online events, creative careers talks, workshops, and live showcases.
- Act as the main point of contact for participating delivery partners and where needed, educators and Careers Leads during the project period.
- Support partners to manage bookings, scheduling, travel logistics, and delivery arrangements for all events, ensuring quality and consistency across different locations.
- Liaise and manage projects with support from Into Film central teams.
- Liaise and work closely with Discover! Creative Careers Teams across the nations to ensure alignment with UK-wide Discover! plans and timelines.
- Support partners with safeguarding protocols, access arrangements, and risk management procedures for all activity.
- Support the collection and input of participant and engagement data via partner organisations and using Into Film’s CRM system (Salesforce) and contribute to evaluation and reporting.
- Respond to teacher queries, partner feedback, and delivery challenges promptly and professionally.

Person Specification:
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience of coordinating projects or events with multiple partners or stakeholders on a national level.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of the Careers landscape in Wales and the CWRE and CWW frameworks.
- Proven track record and excellent communication and relationship-building skills, especially with educators, youth partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of the education landscape and/or youth engagement in Wales.
- Demonstrated understanding of the creative sector in Wales.
- Confidence using spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or equivalent).

We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building. Situated in the centre of Guildford, the service has strong links with and contributes to the local community.
Each Support Worker holds a caseload of residents and meets with them weekly to build a support plan and help them achieve their goals.
We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Guildford Foyer team. Main areas of responsibilities are:
Housing:
- Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living
- Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law
- Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team
Coaching and Engagement:
- Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives
- Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager
Location: Based across 4 residential services based in Croydon (11 minute walk from East Croydon station) you will need to be able to travel between sites to provide full managerial support. Access to own transport is ideal. Please note that unfortunately this service does not have step free access

About the role
We're looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will support the Service Manager to provide leadership and line management to a team of Recovery Workers, Engagement Workers, and other frontline care and support staff. About this key role
Our successful candidate will provide operational management support across one or more contracts awarded by the HMPPS to deliver Finance, Benefit and Debt (FBD) services in Wales. You will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users, who will either be serving community sentences or have been released from prison, and provide leadership and operational management support in debt and welfare benefits to a team of Financial Wellbeing Coaches (FWCs) and Peer Advisor volunteers employed in the delivery of the contracts.
We will also rely on you to set performance objectives with FWCs and monitor progress, monitor and manage all aspects of delivery and performance to ensure compliance with policy and procedures, and to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with local Wales Probation managers and staff as well as other external stakeholders. Managing partnerships and ensuring there is a safe and trusting working environment for staff are also vital aspects of the role.

- Experience of working in or managing services supporting challenging people, for example people who have complex needs and those who are reluctant to discuss their needs

- Ensure Reception is always covered by organising a reception rota that covers absence, holidays, etc.
General management of Reception
- Receive and welcome visitors.
- Co-ordinate access to the building, opening and closing of the building.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Order stationary and other supplies as requested.
- Manage petty cash.
- Keep the reception area tidy.
- Ensure there are adequate supplies of daily refreshments and organise catering for specific events.
Event and training support
- Set up for events and assist with special or evening events when requested.
- Organise and keep track of First Aid and Fire Marshal trainings.
Administration
- Manage the room booking system, including the processing of invoice figures in communication with Finance Assistant/Credit Controller.
- Deal with room booking enquiries and bookings for events.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming telephone calls, and provide basic information when needed.
- Undertake data entry tasks, or similar, in quiet periods.
- Deal with customer queries or complaints politely and positively.
Facilities
- Work with the Facilities and Membership Manager to source and organise suppliers to meet the various facility needs of the building.
- Ensure that the building has adequate cleaning by working with the Facilities and Membership Manager in communication with Total Clean.
- Conduct daily spot checks of the building and report any significant problems to Facilities and Membership Manager.
- Undertake small repairs of damaged equipment or fixings.
IT support
- Field/triage general IT Support emails with the IT Team.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues on site.
- Support tutors and office staff with basic Office apps, Moodle, Zoom queries (support and training can be provided).
- Provide IT support for tutors facilitating Zoom teaching sessions including troubleshooting.
- Manage tutor Zoom accounts.
- Schedule Zoom sessions.
Student support and progression
- Ensure that students are enrolled on courses and set up on systems accurately.
- Manage the re-enrolment process between academic years.
- Oversee the recording of student progression.
- Liaise with and support the Operations Team in organising the annual Graduation event and ensuring all eligible students receive timely information.

Responsibilities include:
- Working with the Senior Fundraising Manager to develop an individual giving strategy that increases donor acquisition, engagement, and income.
- Serving as the CRM Administrator, overseeing its effective use and development for the Fundraising Team
- Project managing our bi-annual individual giving appeals, working with colleagues to design inspiring campaigns that generate six-figure income.
- Promoting our legacy case for support, and securing new pledges, as part of supporters’ journeys with Julian House.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience of leading fundraising activity relating to individual giving, regular giving and / or legacies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent your organisation to a range of stakeholders and create high-quality written content for fundraising.
- Knowledge of the homelessness or social inclusion sectors would be desirable, but not essential.

We are looking for a caring, dynamic and highly motivated Service Manager to join our established team in South Manchester.
Our office is based in Withington, with the services being based over six sites in South Manchester, which operate under a small community-based team. As Service Manager, you will lead the operational management of our exceptional South Manchester services, which have been developed over the past 30 years to meet the needs of people who require mental health support, with other related needs. These services have an exceptional reputation and have offered excellent support for over 25 years - three of these services are women’s gender-based accommodation.
You will oversee a small CQC registered women’s service, which has recently been rated Good at inspection. There will be full corporate support to assist with this role, and you will ensure that our services are of the highest quality. In conjunction with the Director, you will lead the South Manchester senior team. Your role will be to ensure that the service users/ tenants receive the best possible care and support to ensure they can enjoy their best lives and reach personal outcomes. You will also oversee successful provision of our established and well-regarded contracts with Manchester City Council.
