As Senior UN Advocacy Manager, you will join Brooke’s Programmes Directorate at an exciting time as we deliver our five-year strategy. You’ll play a key role in leading our advocacy with UN agencies and UN member states, specifically around the contribution of working animals to sustainable development.
You will develop and deliver our UN advocacy strategy, build and cultivate relationships with UN officials and diplomatic missions, monitor consultative statuses with key UN bodies, and represent Brooke in a number of international coalitions and at international events. About the role
ARC is a data-rich organisation, having made significant progress in our data analytics activities in recent years. Using the CRM Socialsuite , we have developed sophisticated project performance dashboards, which are critical in supporting both our delivery and reporting efforts. Our servers are soon to be hosted in MS Azure, and we are planning to maximise the use of this platform in the coming years. We have also made considerable progress in evaluating and demonstrating the impact of our Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg projects. We have developed evaluation tools and theories of change to measure how our work improves the diets, health, and well-being of children, adults and families.
As we launch our new five-year strategy, we are looking for a passionate Data and Insights Officer who is committed to social change, health equity and inclusion, and can coordinate and develop our data analysis initiatives, as well as provide research and analytical support for our research and evaluation work.
Working closely with the Head of Operations and the Impact & Evaluation Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting the assessment and enhancement of the effectiveness of our projects as well as providing essential insights to support the strengthening of our fundraising and reporting efforts and project performance monitoring.
This role is pivotal in ensuring our strategies are data-driven, our outcomes are measurable, and our impact is effectively communicated to stakeholders, local authority funders, and the communities we serve.

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision.

The role:

Reporting to our Head of Finance, you will play a key role in our finance team, leading on the strengthening of our financial processes and controls, managing our statutory accounts and external audit process.
You will:

Brief role description:
The Communications Manager will play a key role in sharing the inspiring and powerful stories of our clients and the wider military community we support across the UK. They will be responsible for securing high-profile, meaningful media coverage that raises awareness of our mission to provide life-long, life-changing support, employment and training opportunities to Service leavers, veterans, reservists and their families. As we mark our 140th anniversary, this is a pivotal time for the Communications Manager to develop and deliver an integrated communications strategy across PR, traditional and new media, social media, and public affairs. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the Community Engagement Manager and their teams to ensure consistent and aligned messaging across all marketing and
communication activity.

Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer
Location: Runnymede & Woking (Hybrid working possible)
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 FTE
Hours: Part-time: 16–18 hours per week (can be term-time only if preferred)

• Plan and deliver community fundraising events and campaigns
• Develop partnerships with local businesses and supporters
• Recruit, train and retain volunteers who support families in need
• Promote our work across social media, print, and local networks
We’re seeking someone with demonstrable experience of community fundraising, strong relationship-building skills, and a collaborative approach. You’ll be confident working independently, managing multiple priorities, and using digital tools to promote our work.
This is a flexible, part-time role with opportunities for occasional home working and a supportive team culture.
