The role is mainly office-based with the option to work from home a couple of days per week. It also involves some travel to regions outside of London to assist with training and support for our regional teams.

Our Nourish programme supports schools to create a food environment that puts children and young people's nutrition first. The evidence-based, multi-component programme helps schools to develop action plans and policies to cover the food served across the whole school day. Nourish uses a collaborative whole school approach to food involving everyone across the school community to create lasting positive change.

Job purpose

· To assist the team with the scaling up of our Nourish programme

Key tasks include

· Recruit schools to take part in Nourish in the regions

· Provide admin support to the Scaling Manager with setting up e.g. sending out calendar invites, project paperwork, writing minutes

· Assist Scaling Manager with set up of training sessions – agendas, venues, and minutes

· Tailor project resources for different regions delivering Nourish where required

· Design and create project assets such as presentations

· Manage online training platform

· Monitor Regional Officers documentation and check it stays up to date

· Attend occasional project sessions to capture photos, videos and quotes

· Collect data and maintain accurate records relating to the project

· Keep Scaling Manager fully updated on progress

· Keep up to date with safeguarding requirements and reporting procedures

· Maintaining the ethos of the charity and positively promoting our work at all times

· You will also be expected to undertake any other tasks relevant to the affairs of SFM that may arise from time to time.  Therefore, being flexible and approaching the job with an open and positive mindset is essential.

We are looking for a Communications Officer to play a key supporting role in the smooth running of our day-to-day communications - from managing the social calendar, compiling email updates, to updating website content. You’ll help our small team to continuously improve the quality and consistency of our communications outputs for United for Global Mental Health and its partners.

About you 

Our ideal candidate is a dependable communicator who enjoys the day-to-day delivery of communications - planning and scheduling content, creating and posting on social media, drafting newsletters, updating the website, and producing simple graphics and videos. They are organised, detail-oriented, and help keep our communications running smoothly. They will also understand how to communicate across different geographies and audiences, and bring some familiarity with the UN system, as well as experience working in INGO or global health advocacy contexts.

The role 

Key components of the role include: 

• Social media content development - collaborate with internal subject specialists to produce consistent and frequent on-brand written and visual content for social channels, in support of brand and advocacy goals. You’ll use Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and AgoraPulse for this. 
• Email - develop, write and send UnitedGMH’s regular email newsletter, working with internal staff to source news, updates and relevant content tailored for email subscribers.
• Website development - develop, maintain and update content for the UnitedGMH website - including uploading content and editing pages.
• Social media channel and community management - lead on day-to-day management and posting on UnitedGMH social media channels, including X, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Manage paid social campaigns where required. Use monitoring tools to manage social media comments (organic and paid).
• Brand guardian: Be a steward of the UnitedGMH brand, helping to ensure consistent application of visual identity and tone of voice across all external organisational outputs, maintaining high standards of design.
• Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting - create regular analytic reports for social, website and email channels. 
• Editorial planning and communications calendar management - lead on the maintenance of the organisation’s communications calendar, ensuring content across channels is planned-in-advance of key advocacy moments. 
• Team support - support the communications team through project management, meeting management, processing supplier invoices, keeping journalist lists up-to-date, and other responsibilities where needed.
• Ad-hoc support for the Global Mental Health Action Network - you’ll also provide a supporting function as needed for the GMHAN team, including tasks related to website and social management, plus others where needed. 

Requirements 

• Understanding, and experience in use, of online channels (incl. website content management systems (CMS) such as Wordpress and Squarespace, a broad spectrum of social media platforms and email marketing through Mailchimp) 
• An excellent copywriter, with demonstrable experience crafting copy for different audiences - including for social media and email newsletters
• Strong research and proofreading skills, adapted to key audiences
• Comfortable prioritising and delivering on multiple pieces of work against tight timeframes
• Highly organised individual with experience of team administration support 
• An understanding of using digital project management tools e.g. Trello
• An interest in mental health, advocacy and international development
• Strong relationship management skills
• Willingness to travel at least twice per annum and more if required

The Philanthropy Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of dedicated major donors, developing inspiring, personalised supporter journeys that deepen engagement and secure repeat and increased gifts. The Senior Research and Development Manager will play an important role in managing NCB’s research and evidence work, supporting our impact and growth and working across teams in a matrix environment. You will lead a team of four experts in project and event management, who support clinicians and specialist advisors to deliver truly impactful programmes, projects and networks, with and for the hospice sector. 

You’ll shape our approach to programme management across the team, developing and embedding ways of working that give our work consistency, quality and meaningful results. 

You will also spearhead the delivery of two new, vital programmes of work - supporting the wellbeing and professional development of the hospice workforce, and improving access to quality hospice care for people experiencing socio-economic disadvantage.

Perhaps you’re working in the charity and/or healthcare sector already, or you might bring senior programme management experience from other fields. 

Either way, you’ll become part of a close, 17-strong Programmes Team at Hospice UK. We work together and alongside external experts, to design and deliver evidence-based programmes, projects and events, which help hospices provide the very best care in their communities.

We are excited at the potential to bring our heritage to life through our Heritage Fund project 'St Richard's 60:60 - celebrating our first 60 years and preparing for the next'. The National Lottery Heritage Fund have awarded us £248,000 to develop a £3.5m project which will restore our iconic Modern church and celebrate it's first 60 years as a launchpad for the future.  Our goal is to give our Grade II church a secure and sustainable future as a home for a thriving church and a welcoming flexible space for community groups and activities. 

St Richard's Church was opened in 1966 in the heart of a new housing estate alongside a new Primary School, with which it has a strong and supportive working relationship. It is a striking and flexible building with a strong local presence.  It has significant architectural and artisic features and the hyberbolic paraboloid roofs are amongst the few remaining examples in the country. However the roof covering is failing and the timber roof shells are deteriorating rapidly, leading to it being placed on the Heritage at Risk Register in 2025. Our Heritage Fund project will repair and restore the building and provide engagement opportunities bringing its heritage to life while meeting community needs. 

The Community Engagement and Activity Plan Consultant will:

• provide expert advice on the development of the Activity Plan and Activity Action Plan, drawing on comparator projects and following The National Lottery Heritage Fund guidelines and Heritage 2033 Strategy.
• draw up and deliver a consultation programme with the Project Steering Group, building on the work already undertaken and plan and lead pilot heritage activities during the development phase
• develop relationships with existing and potential stakeholders connected with the development and delivery of the Activity Plan.
• research and prepare an Interpretation Plan to inform the Activity Plan and Action Plan

Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation to recruit a Funding Manager on a full-time (or 0.8) basis. This role will be part of the Our Natural World (ONW) programme and will primarily be focused on the foundation’s priorities: fishing in tandem with nature and space for nature (marine). This role is a maternity contract for up to 12 months. The foundation is open to potential secondments from thematically connected organisations.

A hybrid working model is in place which entails working at least 2 days per week in their office in Kings Cross (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and the remainder flexibly working from home if you wish.

The role:
This role is a key member of a friendly team of six people that hold over 250 relationships across the UK, through grants, investments and other support. The foundation works with a number of organisations across the UK, from national charities such as the Wildlife Trust, Blue Marine foundation and Oceana, to community-led organisations such as COAST and fisher led organisations such as the Scottish Creel Fishermen's Federation and the Plymouth Fishing and Seafood organisation.

The team works towards three impact goals: sustainable and ethical food, clean and healthy freshwater, and preserved and improved species health and habitats. They have five funding priorities under the current strategy: nature friendly farming, fishing in tandem with nature, freshwater, peat and space for nature. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing its marine programme. This supports organisations and initiatives across key areas such as a just transition for fisheries, small-scale fisheries, achieving 30% ocean protection by 2030, seascapes, coastal communities, and building a more equitable and inclusive marine sector. In the coming year, a key priority will be to advance their seascapes work, following the recent publication of the foundation’s reflections and plans in this area.

This person will nurture relationships and ensure continuity as well as assessing new applications. Primary responsibilities of this role will be to make significant contributions to the delivery of the foundation’s strategy, identifying and building a pipeline of activities that will contribute to the delivery of the five-year roadmaps and impact goals, assessing proposals and managing a broad portfolio of activities and relationships across the sector. This role will also support social investment opportunities and will gather learning from related work inform future decision making towards achieving impact goals.

The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of having worked as a practitioner in the marine environment & fisheries sector, perhaps for a charity which is embedded in this area or for a business related to the sector which has aligned aims to the impact goals of the ONW programmes. Creative, imaginative and intellectually curious, this person will understand the work undertaken by charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises in the sector but also with local authorities, businesses and the investment world connected to the same ecosystem.

This person will be able to interpret and resolve complex and sometimes conflicting information and business plans in order to assess the viability and value of grant applications and the importance of the work of organisation in matching and promoting the aims and objectives of the ONW programme. An outstanding communicator both verbally and in writing, this person will represent the foundation positively and knowledgeably to a wide range of audiences whilst convening and consulting with sector professionals at events and forums to enhance the intelligence gathering and thought leadership within the sector.

IT confident and systematic in their approach, they will also be a confident and empathetic person in addition to being an excellent communicator, both verbally and in written work. Excellent attention to detail and thorough and collaborative in their approach to work, this person will be a real team player whilst being able to work under their own steam, in a fast-paced environment. You will support the organisation across a range of administrative, organisational and governance activities. You will be comfortable working in a busy environment juggling multiple projects, as is characteristic of a small but ambitious organisation.

You will be able to demonstrate discretion and commitment, along with excellent organisation, written and verbal communication skills and will bring experience of providing director level PA/EA support. You will be able to use your own initiative to prioritise workload according to the demands of the day and learn to anticipate changes, responding professionally, adeptly and positively.

You will be expected to provide a high standard and quality of support across a range of activities and projects, being fully aware of and upholding the charity’s values, and taking responsibility for modelling these to others across the organisation and to the wider community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

The role comprises of the following key areas of responsibility:

· Executive Assistant to CEO

Provide full support to the CEO, including but not limited to:

o Overseeing the diary of the CEO, prioritising meetings and scheduling time for reading, thinking and preparing, ensuring meeting materials are to hand.

o Providing ‘right-hand’ support, undertaking research, ensuring CEO is up to date with all projects and pre-empting needs.

o Secretarial – supporting emails, creating presentations, keeping management files organised and up to date within SharePoint.

· Executive Assistant to Chair

Provide full support to the Chair in any administrative activities that relate to her role as Chair, including but not limited to:

o Overseeing calendar appointments, and ensuring the Chair is prepared for meetings.

o Providing ‘right hand’ support in communication with staff and Board, scheduling meetings and providing administrative support as required.

· Governance and administrative support to the Overcoming MS Board

Provide governance and administrative support to the Overcoming MS Board of trustees, including:

o Scheduling Board, committee and Strategy meetings and making the necessary arrangements (eg booking venues, setting up virtual meetings via Teams/ Zoom).

o Preparation of documentation for meetings including circulation of agendas, compiling Board packs for the Board of Trustees and committee meetings, taking accurate minutes and co-ordinating follow up actions.

o Supporting the Chair and CEO in the recruitment and induction of new Trustees.

o Providing administrative support for working groups, for example, making arrangements for meetings, circulating agendas and papers.
 

· Internal HR administrative lead

Fully supported with external expertise, to provide administrative support for the team, including:

o Advertising vacant roles, coordinating recruitment, sifting applicants, arranging interviews.

o Onboarding new starters, including references, contracts, setting up new starters on the systems, inducting starters in organisational processes.

o Supporting ongoing team development including coordinating training, staff surveys and appraisals.

o Coordinating leavers, including exit interviews, leavers forms and relevant administration.

· Internal IT administrative lead

Fully supported by our external IT agency, to provide administrative support for the team, including:

o Regular meetings with IT agency to ensure correct licenses, equipment and protections are in place.

o Coordination of hardware and software for new starters, equipment provided and returned for leavers.

· Management of Overcoming MS contact enquiries

o Regularly check the Overcoming MS contacts mailbox and manage its contents, responding or delegating to Overcoming MS team members where appropriate, and ensuring follow up is completed.

o Manage the Overcoming MS telephone number to ensure queries are dealt with efficiently.

o Draw themes from regularly occurring queries, to make sure any trends are picked up and addressed effectively.

· General organisational support

o Provide ad hoc project management support to organisational improvement projects, including supporting project team meetings, developing project plans and tracking progress.

o Travel/ meeting arrangements – arrange meetings, attendance at conferences and book rooms and making travel arrangements as necessary.

o    Coordination with our outsourced storage facility.

o Policy support – maintenance of the policy tracker, coordinating the reviewing and updating of policies.

o Admin support for team meetings, oversight of the shared drive, central email lists.

o Lead relationship with our Employee Assistance Provider, including regular team reminders of services and other charity discounts.

o Proactively identify areas where improvements can help improve efficiencies, impact or wellbeing.

About the Role

Working alongside the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the day to day running of the BDD Foundation. You will help support the smooth operation of charity projects, media campaigns, and collaborations, while supporting the delivery of the charity’s community engagement and outreach activities.

A key focus of this role will be managing and maintaining the charity’s digital presence, including social media channels, newsletters, and website updates. You will plan, create, edit, and share content that reflects the charity’s mission and values, moderate online communities in line with our Social Media Policy, and collate insights to continually improve engagement and reach. The role also includes oversight of the volunteer and fundraising inboxes, ensuring timely responses and smooth communication. In addition, you will provide support for fundraising initiatives, including preparing funding applications, exploring new funding opportunities, and working closely with the Manging Director to help drive the charity’s impact.

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional individual fundraiser to join the Philanthropy team at King’s College London, leading on fundraising for The Dickson Poon School of Law.

This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift prospects, securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5 million gift level, supporting senior stakeholders with their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s and the Dickson Poon School of Law.
