Salary: £30,400

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. You may need to be flexible on these hours as per service requirements.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Activities Coordinator to join our new Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) based in Havering. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will play a major part in reintegrating our residents back into the community by coordinating and delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual needs, working in collaboration with the wider team. Some activities may vary but could include days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful activities to encourage reintegration and enhance social skills and community engagement.  No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work in a supportive team environment.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and coordinating individual and group activities and sessions
• Delivering programmes that support residents’ goals, personal development, and reintegration
• Developing and managing calendars of activities, events, and awareness campaigns to promote social skills, community engagement, and meaningful participation
• Collecting information about activities and resident feedback to see what works well and share this with the team to improve programmes and support resident wellbeing
• Running clinics, projects, and sessions, providing guidance, life skills support, and advice to residents as needed
• Building good relationships with partners and stakeholders, identifying new opportunities and creating an accessible partner resource catalogue
• Monitoring, evaluate, and report on activity effectiveness and outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement
• Supporting staffs wellbeing, collaborate with the wider team, and work flexibly to ensure smooth service delivery
• Identify risks, safeguarding residents and take appropriate action. Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative tasks

About You

We are looking for someone who has a passion to support vulnerable people in making a change, supporting their rehabilitation and providing opportunities for them to make positive change to their lives, to reintegrate into society. You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. You will be able to plan and deliver a range of activities suited to individual needs and will be confident in understanding the needs of our residents to do this. We look for:

• Experience in coordinating and/or delivering activities and programmes with people from various backgrounds
• Ability to provide advice, support and guidance to a team and residents on various areas
• Ability to work creatively and encourage creativity in others
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Ability to form and build effective relationships and rapport with others
• Proactive in making decisions to deal with challenges and providing a solution focused approach and using your initiative

About the Project

PKD Scotland: Outreach and Community Connections Project. 

It is estimated that around 5,000 people in Scotland could be living with Polycystic Kidney 
Disease. It is however often poorly understood and historically underfunded, meaning people 
can leave clinic after diagnosis with little support beyond medical appointments. Many tell us 
they don't know where to turn for emotional support or to meet others living with the same 
condition. We want to change that and with support from a National lottery Awards for All grant 
that is exactly what we are going to do. 

The eighteen-month project will see us reach into hospitals across Scotland to try and ensure 
that no one with PKD in Scotland has to manage their journey on their own. From diagnosis 
onwards we want all to be aware of the charity, the array of services that we offer and foster 
engagement. Two new volunteer led support groups will be established and a group of 
ambassadors recruited to support the ongoing connections we make to ensure that PKD 
remains in the spotlight. 

As our Scotland PKD Engagement Officer you will be central to the success of the project. 
Many people only reach us years after diagnosis, often when symptoms worsen, but we know 
that early connection can make a real difference. PKD is lifelong and people face new 
challenges at every stage. Having support around them helps them stay confident, informed
and connected.

About The Role

 
As PKD’s Scotland Engagement Officer, you will play a central role in delivering this ambitious 
outreach project. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will raise awareness of the PKD Charity and its services, 
ensuring that people diagnosed with PKD are informed about available support from the earliest 
possible stage.

You will build and nurture relationships with NHS professionals and services across Scotland, 
helping embed PKD Charity information and resources into patient pathways. Alongside this, you 
will work closely with volunteers to establish two new PKD support groups and develop an

The RCR, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, is leading a national review into cancer multidisciplinary team (MDTs) improvement — a key commitment in the National Cancer Plan. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive this high-profile programme and deliver meaningful change for cancer services. 

This is a rare opportunity to shape how cancer teams work across the country and to deliver meaningful improvements for patients, clinicians and the wider cancer workforce. 

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of the Cancer MDT Reform Programme. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the health system including NHS England, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Department of Health and Social Care as well as senior Officers at the RCR, including regular reporting to our Vice-President for Clinical Oncology. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Leading the full project lifecycle, from developing detailed project plans to managing risks, timelines and reporting. 
• Delivering a large two-day national stakeholder event to gather insight and build consensus across the cancer community. 
• Drafting high-impact written outputs, including a flagship report outlining recommendations for MDT improvement to be shared with government.

Further Information

This is a full‑time post (35 hours per week). We are looking for someone who can deliver high quality training to adults and young people in the workplace and community settings. You will be comfortable managing groups discussing sensitive issues and difficult topics.

White Ribbon is the leading organisation in the UK working to engage men and boys in ending violence against women and girls. Our mission is to prevent men’s violence against women through addressing its root causes, gender inequality and harmful gender norms and stereotypes. About the role

As Senior Legacy Marketing Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our gifts in wills programme, helping to grow one of our most vital income streams.

• Lead inspiring multi-channel legacy marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, print and direct mail

About the role

The Social Media & Stories Manager provides organisational leadership for the Refugee Council’s social media and storytelling function, ensuring that digital communications inspire action, shift public attitudes, and amplify the voices of people with lived experience. The Difference is seeking a Head of the Inclusive Leadership Course to lead our year-long programme for senior school leaders, training 200+ headteachers, deputies and assistant heads annually to reduce lost learning and transform inclusion practice across England's schools.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for designing and delivering a sector-leading professional development programme, building strong relationships with school leaders and strategic partners, and capturing evidence of impact. The role will lead facilitation of regional cohorts, oversee quality assurance across all programme delivery, and work closely with MAT and LA leaders to scale understanding and reach.

The role requires regular national travel for programme delivery, regular office attendance and representing The Difference at conferences and sector events. You will work directly with the Deputy CEO to develop course content, identify opportunities for programme expansion, and ensure the course remains at the forefront of inclusion leadership practice.

We are looking for a confident leader with a strong track record in senior school leadership, programme design and delivery, and stakeholder management, alongside the ability to translate inclusion strategy into measurable outcomes for young people.

About The Difference

Every day, the equivalent of 5,500 children are suspended from England's schools, doubling their likelihood of being NEET by 24. The Difference is a young education charity founded to change this story through whole school inclusion. Since 2019, over 1,000 school leaders have completed the Inclusive Leadership Course. 94% report shifted knowledge of inclusion, and 64% of schools subsequently saw suspensions data buck national trends. The course has been the test bed for our Whole-School Approach to Inclusion, with principles now evident in the Schools White Paper.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design of the Inclusive Leadership Course to ensure full engagement across the year and measurable improvement in Whole School Inclusion practice
• Lead facilitation on regional cohorts, building cohort buy-in and belonging while maintaining high engagement and satisfaction
• Design and execute evidence capture to provide timely, valuable data for The Difference Impact Strategy
• Stay informed of promising practice to ensure the course remains sector-leading, piloting new content before wider roll-out
• Represent The Difference through speaking engagements and writing

About You

Essential:

• Senior leadership experience in schools with a track record of leading inclusive work that gives credibility to stakeholder relationships

Purpose of the Job 
Supporting the step change in growth of the Statutory, Trusts and Foundations income stream.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with Manager and Senior Managers to manage portfolio through excellent stewardship
• Supporting the creation of a high-quality pipeline of new funding opportunities
• Manage a portfolio of low-level trusts and foundations, with opportunity to progress to mid-level funders
• Write compelling and visually engaging funding applications to new and existing trusts, working in collaboration with finance colleagues to ensure accurate budget and income allocation
• Manage significant mailing programmes to prospects, each campaign focused on specific projects or urgent appeals, including follow up contact  
• Supporting the timely and accurate submission of funding proposals considering finder deadlines and application requirements
• Excellent stewardship of existing funders through timely submission of repots  and thank you correspondence
• Monitoring and evaluation of projects
