The People Insights Analyst plays a critical supporting role in the development and delivery of organisational workforce reporting.

Reporting to the Senior People Insights Manager, this role is responsible for gathering, analysing, and presenting data to inform decision making and enhance organisational effectiveness.

Role Requirements

• Contribute to workforce planning and people analytics projects by managing and analysing data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. 
• Undertake data cleaning and auditing to ensure accuracy of analysis. 
• Assist in the preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders, using tools such as excel, crystal reporting and Power BI. 
• Ability to analyse internal and external benchmarking data to provide insights and recommendations on pay and benefits structures. 
• Collaborate with the Senior People Insights Manager to ensure reward practices are competitive, fair, and aligned with organisational objectives. 
• Support the delivery and implementation of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs. 
• Maintain and enhance HR data accuracy, reporting tools, and analytics frameworks, ensuring compliance with data protection principles and wider regulatory obligations. 
• Support the annual compensation review process, including data preparation, analysis, and coordination. 
• Monitor market trends and legislative changes affecting compensation and benefits. 
• Support ongoing development of the SelectHR system, to drive process efficiencies and data accuracy.
• Support the system superusers across the People Team to maintain the day-to-day management of the business systems and the data held within them. 
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time. 
• Streamline processes through the adoption of digital solutions. 
• Where possible implement AI technologies to automate routine tasks, enhancing overall efficiency. 
• Digitise documentation processes where feasible.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivery of a generalist HR advisory service to the Federation and our Academies, providing up to date and informed HR guidance and support on HR policies, processes and systems
• Providing professional advice and support to Federation and Academy leaders in all areas of HR practice and employee relations such as grievance, disciplinary, performance management and sickness absence management, escalating complex cases as appropriate to the Head of HR and HR Business Partners
• Supporting the HR Business Partner with organisation change programmes including redundancy, restructuring and TUPE transfers; preparing documents, supporting planning, due diligence completion etc.
• Participating in the development and delivery of HR policy skills workshops for line managers and academy HR

• Producing management information reports
• Evaluating job descriptions and providing advice and guidance on salary bandings to ensure a consistent and fair approach

We’re looking for a confident and compassionate LGBTQ+ Project Worker to join our supported housing team working across Brighton and Eastbourne.

This isn’t just a support role, it’s a frontline position that requires emotional resilience, excellent communication skills, and a grounded understanding of what it means to work in a supported housing environment. The people we work with often face intersecting challenges including mental health, trauma, identity-based discrimination, and housing insecurity. Your job will be to help them navigate these realities and move toward independent living with dignity, strength, and stability.

You’ll need to thrive in a role where no two days are the same. From conversations around rent and cleaning routines to complex safeguarding issues or mental health disclosures, you’ll be expected to step in calmly and confidently, without shying away from challenge.

We’re seeking someone who builds positive working relationships with both residents and housing providers, can adapt to rapidly changing needs, and brings clarity, kindness, and consistency to their work no matter what’s going on that day.

While this role is based in Brighton, we operate as one team across both Eastbourne and Brighton. From time to time, you may be expected to provide cover at our Eastbourne accommodation when needed.

The advertised salary includes London Weighting. As such, you will be responsible for covering the cost of travel to London for our monthly all-staff meetings. If additional travel to London is required as part of your role, these costs will also need to be covered by you.

Key Responsibilities

· To provide a high quality, flexible and responsive support service to LGBTQ+ people, supporting them for independent living or suitable alternative housing through the provision of 1-1 support sessions and group work.

· To assess the individual needs of each person and provide a bespoke support plan.

· To ensure that effective service user participation mechanisms are in place.

· To develop links with relevant external agencies.

Main Duties of the Post

Support Sessions

· To give holistic support to LGBTQ+ people accessing our supported accommodation service and to provide proactive support to these service users who are sometimes hard to engage.

· To meet service users regularly to provide structured support, in relation to LGBTQ+ and Housing specific issues, such as gender identity pathways, mental health services, health issues, safeguarding, liaising with the professional network.

· To work with LGBTQ+ people accessing supported accommodation to develop and review individual support plans and risk assessments.

· To liaise with other service providers ensuring service users receive the necessary support to sustain their accommodation, acquire relevant independent living skills, maintain or improve positive physical and mental health and access into meaningful occupation of their time.

Financial Support

· To assist service users in maximising and managing their income including universal credit, ESA, PIP and Housing Benefit.

Semi-independent Living Support

· To work with service users to enable them to develop the life and social skills necessary to sustain their accommodation and prepare them for independent living.

· To assess individual service user’s suitability for independent accommodation.

· To act quickly to manage incidents and to advise, support and assist service users unable to maintain supported accommodation into more appropriate housing options.

Resettlement

· To support service users in the completion of application forms necessary to support move-on housing, including the private rented sector.

· To ensure that all service users are provided with information about local services whilst in supported accommodation and during their move on.

· To ensure all service users are fully aware of their rights and responsibilities in their home.

· To work with housing providers, both public and private, to negotiate move on options.

Groupwork, Consultation and Participation

· To work as part of a team in developing user participation.

· To identify and develop appropriate and flexible processes for consulting with our service users, via social media platforms, newsletters, events and workshops.

· To devise innovative and creative ways of involving LGBTQ+ people in the running of the schemes with an independent approach.

· Supporting our residents to participate in group and peer support and to access online support mechanisms.

· Facilitating and promoting an LGBTQ+ group work programme.

Other Duties

· To establish and maintain accurate and complete records in all areas of work.

· To complete statistics for the collation of performance and funding information.

· To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation and regulations in relation to funders and other key areas.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Experience

·       Lived experience, or experience of working with homeless people or vulnerable LGBTQ+ people, in a voluntary or paid employment setting.

· Experience of lone working and working as part of team.

Essential Knowledge

· Knowledge and understanding of the causes and effects of homelessness, particularly in relation to LGBTQ+ people.

· Knowledge of the current benefits available to single people.

· Knowledge of common themes, trends and issues within supported and shared accommodation.

· Knowledge of pathways into medical and social support for LGBTQ+ people.

Essential Skills and Abilities

· Ability to provide a range of housing related support services, i.e. assessment, developing and using support plans, support planning, key working, independent living support, welfare benefits advice and providing resettlement support.

· Ability to manage challenging behaviour and complex needs, report and raise incidents and safeguarding alerts.

· Ability to prioritise and maintain case work across multiple projects at the same time.

We are currently recruiting for a Principal Regulatory Lawyer. The Principal Regulatory Lawyer will lead responsibility for the provision of legal advice to the wider Trust on all aspects of Regulatory law as it affects the Trust, including health and safety law, environmental and reservoirs regulation.

Location & coverage

The position will be offered on a remote working basis, with a requirement to attend our main hub spaces on occasion for meetings.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead strategic advisor on all aspects of health and safety law and management, providing advice across and at all levels of the organisation (including the Executive and the Board) on legal risk and compliance.
• Advising the Trust on compliance with health and safety law in respect of colleague (employee and volunteer) safety
• Supporting the Senior Environment Lawyer, providing legal advice on all aspects of environmental and reservoirs regulatory compliance, including environmental permits, abstraction licensing, reservoirs, and wildlife protections.
• Managing the Trust’s response to incidents leading to enforcement action by a regulator.
• Providing legal advice on a fit for purpose approach in respect of the management of health and safety risks of  public use of the Trust’s inland waterway network
• Supporting the development of Trust health and safety policy and processes, including risk assessment, reporting and investigations, 
• Advising the Trust’s Health & Safety team on regulatory aspects of health and safety law, assisting in responding to coroners reports, inquests and HSE enquires, notices and enforcement action

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Professional Practice

• Provide highly visible, credible leadership to nursing and care teams across the organisation.
• Act as a key delegate and deputy for the Director of Nursing and Quality / Registered Manager.

As the Alumni Officer, you will be someone who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about supporting them to progress to vibrant degrees and careers in STEM. The post holder will have strong knowledge and understanding of the barriers facing young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds accessing STEM education and careers across the UK.

The Alumni Officer will deliver the continuation of support for hundreds young people who complete the In2STEM programme every year, supporting them with continued support throughout year 13/S6 as they progress to post FE education, apprenticeships and training, and providing long term careers opportunities.

The Local Storytelling Exchange (the Exchange) exists to change the conversation about the ‘green transition’ in the UK. We tell the human stories of how everyday people, communities, and places are building fairer, greener futures, especially where narratives around climate action are more contested. Our place-based storytellers use community insights, journalistic expertise, and creative storytelling to shift narratives and humanise the transition.

About the role  

We are looking for a Digital Innovation Lead to position us at the cutting-edge of digital, locally based storytelling about the climate transition.

Part of this role will be overseeing our approach to social media. But more than that, the successful candidate will bring their know-how and entrepreneurial flair to help us reimagine our digital storytelling on the climate transition.

From TikTok to hyper-local Facebook groups, from AI-powered analysis to multimedia experimentation, you will help the Exchange build a digital game that’s contemporary, sector-leading, ethical and true to both our mission and our USP as locally rooted, authentic, people-led storytellers.

In depth technical expertise (for example, in the mechanics of video creation) is not essential. Knowing where to get it, how to use it - and what great looks like for an organisation like us - is.

The Digital Innovation Lead will deploy audience and platform insight, social listening, and restless creativity. They will ensure our digital storytelling has scale, reach and narrative-shaping impact in its own right, and as a complement and added dimension to our existing, sector-leading print, broadcast and online journalism.

We want someone who can work collaboratively to challenge our assumptions and try new things, while holding on to what makes the Exchange’s storytelling special: our authenticity and people-first approach.

Key responsibilities  

• Shape and deliver a digital innovation strategy that harnesses the Exchange’s USP and place-based focus to impactfully engage audiences, share stories, and measurably influence local narratives.

• Working with the Executive Director and Head of Programmes, secure partnerships and funding to put the strategy into practice – ranging from partnering with local influencers and campaign groups, to national media platforms, data platforms, or creative tech collaborators, and more.

• Lead experimentation with emerging tools – including AI, community insights, social listening tools, multimedia storytelling and audience analytics 

• Design systems for (digital) social listening and audience intelligence that build on our existing USP as a place-based, storyteller-led organisation.

• Build a roster of associate content creators so we can generate excellent content, quickly.

• Build digital confidence and capacity across the organisation and key external partners, mentoring colleagues and associates to use digital tools creatively and ethically.

• Ensure the Exchange uses technology ethically and responsibly in line with the Exchange’s mission.

• Balance working at pace under own initiative, with working collaboratively and supportively within a small, hybrid organisation.

 About you  

You are likely to be a creative digital communications and/or engagement specialist who combines vision and innovative spark with the determination to build networks, projects and partnerships to turn ideas into real world impact. You can bridge big picture strategic thinking and tracking the latest ideas, with practical application to prototype, test and learn fast.

You will have a strong instinct for what makes for brilliant content that has impact at scale, and how to get it seen. You will be audience, mission and impact-led, innovating around how best to reach people across platforms and wider engagement.  You will have a strategic mind, up-to-the-minute understanding of today’s information and digital environment, and a rich network of intelligence and contacts. You'll understand how digital content can complement ‘traditional’ journalism and be excited to combine these approaches in new ways as part of shaping local narratives across the country.

Leading UK drug education charity the DSM Foundation is recruiting a Head of Business and Organisational Development to join their senior management team. This role involves working with the Director and Board of Trustees to provide strategic leadership to the DSMF team on all aspects of organisational and business development with a long-term income growth strategy, and alongside the Head of Operations and Head of Education and Engagement, to ensure that DSMF is a well-managed and successful charity with a clear strategic vision. 

Suitable candidates will:

• Be passionate about supporting young people to make safer choices about drugs and alcohol.
• Have experience of strategy development and delivery, business and work stream development and income generation.
• Have a deep understanding of finance and market conditions.
• Be experienced in managing projects and performance.
• Be skilled in organisational development and people management.

Key information:

The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation is a drug and alcohol education charity, founded by Fiona and Tim Spargo-Mabbs in 2014 in response to the death of their 16-year-old son Dan having taken ecstasy. The charity aims to support young people to make safe choices and reduce harm, through increasing their understanding of the effects and risks of drugs and alcohol, and improving their life skills & resilience. They work with young people, parents, teachers and professionals, in schools, colleges and communities across the UK.

This role will be primarily based in the DSMF office with some opportunities for remote working.
