Role Purpose

We are now looking for an enterprising and ambitious Director to lead the charity into a new chapter. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional leader to shape the future of a dynamic and values-driven charity, building on strong foundations while unlocking new potential for growth, innovation, and impact. The Director will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Props Charity, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and sustainable social enterprises. The role involves managing a diverse team, overseeing enterprise, training, creative and sports projects, and working in close partnership with Bristol Charities to align with broader organisational goals. The Director will secure the viability and sustainability of current operations whilst exploring future opportunities for growth in trainee numbers, scaling up social enterprises, and bringing forward Business Plans for new ventures.

To lead and deliver Richmond CVS’s support services for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the borough. This includes providing high-quality advice, training, and development support, alongside managing key projects and coordinating external consultants.

The role is central to strengthening the VCSE sector, with a focus on organisational development, fundraising, and governance. It also involves working closely with statutory partners including Richmond Council and the South West London Integrated Care Board (ICB), ensuring that VCSE organisations are well-positioned to engage with and influence local systems.

The postholder will also lead the design and delivery of new initiatives, including externally funded programmes, and will have the opportunity to shape and evolve the role in response to emerging needs.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Development

Provide tailored advice and support to VCSE organisations on governance, fundraising, income generation, and strategic planning.

Lead the development and delivery of training programmes, workshops, and resources.

Support organisations to strengthen their legal structures, policies, and compliance.

Promote inclusive and accessible service delivery.

Leadership & Strategy

Provide strategic leadership for RCVS’s capacity building and project work.

Contribute to organisational strategy and planning.

Represent RCVS at external meetings, networks, and partnerships, including with statutory bodies.

Project & Programme Management

Manage capacity building projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed outcomes.

Monitor and evaluate project impact, producing reports for funders and stakeholders.

Lead the development and delivery of consultancy projects, including scoping, contracting, and oversight.

Manage relationships with external consultants to ensure quality and consistency.

Line Management

Lead and support a small team, coordinating workplans and fostering collaboration.

Support staff development and performance

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with local partners including Richmond Council, South West London ICB, local and national funders, and other infrastructure bodies.

Facilitate networking and collaboration across the VCSE sector.

Act as a key point of contact for external engagement and partnership development.

Encourage digital innovation through partnerships and shared learning.

Operational & Financial Oversight

Contribute to budget planning and financial monitoring for capacity building and project work.

Lead on income generation for RCVS’s development work, including identifying funding opportunities, contributing to bids and contracts, and managing funded programmes.

Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding, data protection, and health & safety.

Own the strategic development and execution of innovative marketing plans to engage, retain and grow Kew’s member and supporter base to achieve ambitious membership and fundraising targets. You will lead the development of engaging propositions and content, manage acquisition campaigns and optimise marketing communications to our existing base to drive long-term engagement and loyalty.

You will bring exceptional data-driven strategic marketing skills together with a creative flair and proven ability to generate fresh, impactful ideas to engage audiences. Working across a wide range of marketing campaigns and projects your excellent stakeholder, campaign and project management skills are key to this role.

This role is based at Kew Gardens with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will work under the supervision and guidance of the Care Management Team, Senior Residential Support Workers, and Therapy Teams. You will support learners in all residential houses and the community, assisting with social and academic activities.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting learners with self-care and independence skills such as eating, drinking, washing, bathing, using the toilet, managing incontinence, dressing, mobility, and medication administration.

• At the start of each shift, reviewing communication and log books, and liaising with staff at handover to ensure learners' needs are well documented and addressed.
   
• Establish supportive relationships with learners and encourage the development of stable relationships.
   
• Promote the emotional health and self-esteem of learners and support them through changes in their living situation and personal circumstances.
   
• Accompanying learners into the community to take part in social and recreational activities such as bowling, cinema trips, and dining out, helping them build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences beyond the college setting.

Working closely with the rest of the Events & Fundraising team, you’ll help deliver and grow LLST’s fundraising events across London and the South East, including the London Legal Walk, Regional Legal Walks, Great Legal Bake, and Great Legal Quiz, as well as manage our third party challenge events. You will help to engage our supporters and large database in the legal community to generate fundraising.

You will play a vital role in the planning and organising of LLST’s flagship London Legal Walk, bringing together over 19,000 members of the legal community to walk 10km through central London and raise vital funds for over 100 free legal advice charities.

The role involves coordinating event logistics, managing supporter journeys and communications, maintaining our online presence, spreading the word about the importance of the work we do, and helping to develop our fundraising strategy. You’ll also line manage the Events & Fundraising Assistant and play a key role in maintaining LLST’s excellent reputation.

Main Duties

• Lead on the project management, design, content creation and publishing of communications for the Philanthropy team (including impact report and newsletters) and work with translators to ensure communications are produced in other key ClientEarth languages
• Lead on the development of bespoke reporting for six and seven figure restricted and unrestricted gifts to produce high-quality, compelling reports tailored in style and content to suit a range of audiences in different geographies

North Wales Community Law is a charity established in 2023 that provides free legal advice to people in North Wales. We have a small team of caseworkers and we want to grow our team to enable us to support more people. We are looking for a solicitor or experienced caseworker to provide specialist housing or family law casework and advice under the supervision of our Legal Services Director. Duties

• To provide legal advice and casework assistance and give appropriate advice and support to clients, managing your own caseload and making applications for public funding as required.
• To liaise with landlords’ and other parties’ representatives, solicitors, other agencies and groups as required.
• To ensure that all casework, advice, and assistance complies with the requirements of the organisation’s processes, accreditations and, where publicly funded, complies with the requirements of the Legal Aid Agency.
• To collate evidence and work in partnership with other advice providers locally and regionally to influence the development of policy and legislation in relation to housing and domestic abuse.
• To undertake outreach work, including liaising with local communities, delivering talks and presentations to groups, and visiting community settings as appropriate. Work from various locations as reasonably required.
• To inform and participate in our public legal education work, to promote North Wales Community Law and a rights-respecting culture in north Wales.
• To actively engage with local community groups and organisations, bringing together our experience, skills and knowledge with that of others, sharing learning wherever possible.
• To prepare reports on your own work for the information of the Trustee Board, funders and other stakeholders, as required.
• To actively contribute to internal meetings, including cascading learning.
• To attend appropriate training courses and maintain readership of relevant publications to maintain and develop professional expertise.

Person Specification

Essential

• Experience of delivering housing or family law advice and complex casework - advising and supporting clients through the legal system
• Ability to manage a busy caseload, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Experience of legal aid processes, meeting financial targets and time recording requirements using case management systems.
• Good organisational, prioritising and time management skills.
• Experience of team and multi-agency working.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with the organisation’s client group.
• Commitment to sharing learning, skills and knowledge.

The Kent Infant Feeding Peer Supporter role is vital in the delivery of community Infant Feeding Peer Support within the region. • To provide breastfeeding and infant feeding peer support to parents and.
• Support in delivering inductions and offer shadowing for volunteer peer supporters.

About you

· Experience of working with families from diverse backgrounds.

· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to create rapport with a range of people.

· Have knowledge of the local perinatal services and communities within the Kent area.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative- Community Food Member Champion

Location: Birmingham, B7 5QT

The Role

To undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient distribution of food each day. You will have responsibility for coordination of our food stock, from goods-in to picking, dispatch and stock rotation and will be expected to drive vans, and Forklift Trucks.

As the Community Food Member champion you will be responsible for liaising with our community food members. This will include duties such as managing collection schedules and liaising with the member services team to resolve any day-to-day queries.

Working closely with the wider team and volunteers, you will also support the monitoring and utilisation of warehouse space, stock, deliveries and collections to ensure food reaches its destination amongst our members safely, on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Operations 

• Undertake all warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient coordination and distribution and of food
• Work closely with the member services team to ensure all lines of communication to CFMs are recorded and day to day issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• To work to performance indicators so that stock is accurate, and delivery routes are efficient to allow the organisation to grow
• To ensure that all work areas – both inside and outside the warehouse - are clean, organised and safe to work in
• Follow all H&S and Food Safety standards set out in the FareShare policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all our colleagues & visitors, and the safe receipt of food by all our members.
• Undertake van/Forklift Truck driving duties to ensure effective, efficient timely and safe delivery & collection of food, in line with compliance standards
• Ensuring great customer service in delivery
• Loading and unloading, sorting for, and following deliveries, ensuring safe lifting, and carrying
• Refer van “issues”, in a timely manner to Transport Department to ensure minimum disruption to service delivery
• Undertake all checks and procedures from pre-delivery to post-delivery
• Ensure lock up, parking and storage of vans and equipment following completion of deliveries

2.   Volunteer Communication & Co-ordination  

• Work closely with the volunteer teams a diverse group ranging from regular and long-term, volunteers, placements (e.g. Job Centre) to business people having just a 1-day volunteering experience – to ensure that all shift duties are covered, and teams work effectively
• Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers, ensuring they follow all policies and procedures, high standards of accuracy are maintained and their volunteer experience with FSM is a satisfying one.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Volunteer Manager & wider staff team with the recruitment, training and development of volunteers in the context of our commitment to Equal Opportunities
• Participate in end of day reviews and planning for the next day’s activities

3.  Standards

• Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and other standards applicable to the building, vehicles, refrigeration equipment, our staff and volunteers. carrying out risk assessments as required
• Uphold and develop high quality customer care towards & communication with our Community Food Members (CFMs)

4.   Administration

• Ensure that food movements are accurately logged on the electronic stock management system
• Carry out depot administration, including running reports, correspondence with member groups, updating volunteer records
• Ensure that relevant administrative matters are dealt with in a timely way, for instance food safety traces & customer complaints.

5.  FareShare Midlands Profile/Representation

• · Represent FSM both internally and externally at an operational level through networking, promotional activity and sustaining well established links with Community Food Members, Suppliers and other key stakeholders at local, regional and national level.
• · Build excellent relationships with local partners including public services and VCS and volunteer involving groups.
• Keep abreast of local and national developments in public and third sector policy likely to affect FSM ensuring it is positioned to influence and shape future policy.
