Key Responsibilities

• To work directly with service users to provide support, deliver action plans, and conduct follow-ups. This could be conducting initial assessments to determine the service user’s needs, providing tailored housing advice/support to service users transitioning from prison or serving a community sentence, or working with young people on various programmes.
• To liaise with partner organisations/agencies, as required, on service delivery.
• Where necessary (for example, when working with young people), challenge inappropriate behaviour in a fair and equitable manner while motivating them to change.
• To maintain caseload efficiently, and to maintain accurate case records and documentations on relevant systems.

As a Youth Development Lead you will;

• Develop and oversee a Youth Advisory Panel to ensure that youth voice is central to the design of our Youth Engagement Programme and the 360 Youth Centre.
• Develop and oversee the Youth Engagement Programme as part of the ‘100 years of Ashburton Park Project’ including a range of activities in and nearby to Ashburton Park, including after school drop-in’s, evening sessions, group work and one-one mentoring.
• Support the development and engagement of young people in a Food Growing Enterprise based at Ashburton Lodge.
• Work closely with Croydon Council and other partners to support young people to engage with a wide range of programmes and activities that are part of the ‘100 years of Ashburton Park Project’.
• Deliver open access sessions, group and one to one interventions with young people including; half term, afterschool, evenings and residentials, using a planned youth work curriculum.
• Line manage youth workers, sessional youth workers and youth volunteers to plan, deliver and evaluate youth work termly.
• Contribute to the development of youth work across the area and lead on specific areas of work on behalf of the team.

Amongst other requirements, the successful post holder must have:

· Relevant experience OR qualification in Youth & Community (JNC), Social Work (QSW) or SEND.

· Proven experience working with young people ‘at risk’.

· Reliability, with a flexible approach to changes and able to work unsociable hours.

· Experience of project and/or people management

About the role

This Data Analyst position will primarily work within the Drive programme team. Working closely with the Drive Practice, National Systems Change and Restart teams, this role will primarily focus on data collection, quality assurance, management and reporting through the Drive Case Management Systems.

About the Role:

The role of the Domestic Abuse Team Leader is to provide operational support and management to a team of Independent Domestic Violence advisors (IDVAs) that provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse in Cumbria. This will include those at the highest risk of harm and victims of rape and serious sexual assault.

To be successful in this role you will be flexible and proactive, have knowledge and experience of delivering a service and working directly with clients or service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting. A proven track record of managing a team delivering services of similar nature and scope, including performance management and staff development is essential. About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role

Following a recent departmental restructure, we’re entering an exciting period for the newly formed content team. This shift in the team structure highlights our commitment to making best in sector content - all in the name of our mission; to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately in young people.

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Content who will be responsible for delivering our holistic content strategy over the next year. You’ll oversee the management, production and strategic placement of all organic content across CoppaFeel!’s channels, and in house paid campaign activations. You will help shape CoppaFeel!’s approach to content so that it appeals, resonates with and converts our key audience of 18 - 24 year olds, as well as our supplementary audiences, across website, email and social channels.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and alongside other Heads of Dept, bringing your expertise and knowledge to leadership discussions to help shape the future of the organisation. You will report to the Marketing Director and line manage the Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, and you will have exposure to the Senior Management Team.

This is a fixed term contract for 13 months.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work as a valued part of the CoppaFeel! leadership team to deliver the organisational strategy, shape the culture and influence cross departmental ways of working.
• Deliver the holistic content strategy across digital and social channels (including website, email, search, owned social, content creators and gaming) that will enhance the annual marketing strategy and drive awareness of CoppaFeel! and our mission amongst 18 - 24 year olds.
• Responsible for overseeing a team creating and producing innovative content that’s insight driven and market leading.
• Oversee production plans delivering our year round ‘always on’ organic content (web, email, social).
• Lead and inspire creativity across the organisation with a view to becoming social first in everything we do.
• Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to develop and deliver a content optimisation test and learn programme.
• Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to optimise CoppaFeel!’s website and third party agencies to research, plan and execute Search Engine Optimisation and Paid Search strategies.
• Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and deliver the annual Website and Email content plan, including an optimisation plan.
• Work with the Social Media Manager to produce social first content year round, in line with the social media and content strategy.
• Oversee in house paid social media campaigns, primarily on Meta, with support from the Social Media Manager. Deliver training to the Social Media Manager to help them work towards activating these independently.
• Oversee delivery of workflow processes for managing the content lifecycle, including producing, distributing, measuring, and retiring content.
• Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
• Oversee capacity of the Content Team.
• Line manage the Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Manager.
• Ownership of the Content Team budget and quarterly re-forecasting.
• Contribute to quarterly all staff team meetings.
• Ensure rigorous reporting and analysis of social and digital activity to ensure delivery of planned KPIs, with an ambition to be constantly improving and evolving.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Minimum 5 year’s experience working in a management level content focused role, for example a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Content Manager, Head of Digital Marketing or Head of Content.
• Demonstrable experience in managing and prioritising cross departmental content requests.
• Demonstrable experience of implementing strategic content plans.

About the Role

Are you an experienced A level tutor? Can you support under-resourced young people to reach their full academic potential?

We are looking for passionate and qualified A level tutors to deliver high quality group tuition to our cohort of almost 1,000 students. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced tutors with a love of learning to help bright students overcome barriers to academic achievement. Tutorials are delivered online to groups of up to 4 students via our bespoke online learning platform.

Tutorials generally take place between the hours of 3pm and 8pm on weekday evenings, with flexibility around the schedules of our tutors and students.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead weekly hour-long tutorials with your tutor group(s), via The Access Project’s online learning platform 
• Responsively plan and deliver stimulating, high quality tuition in line with our Quality Assurance Framework

• Complete weekly attendance forms, supply monthly invoices, and complete other administrative duties as required

The role

As the breadth and volume of our fundraising activity has grown over the last couple of years, an opportunity has arisen for a detail orientated and enthusiastic individual to join our database team. This role will be line managed by the Database Manager, with a dotted line to the Senior Database Officer to ensure the smooth running of our income processing activity, making a significant impact for the charity, and enabling excellent supporter care.

The team

Our dynamic fundraising department are preparing for an ambitious multimillion-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital. We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

- Our Public Fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges. Our Philanthropy and Campaign teams builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, and corporate organisations which give, or have potential to give, £10,000 to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our exciting cancer campaign which is due to launch in 2025.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems. 

The Advocacy, Advice and Information department works to empower people and communities, and challenge stigma and disadvantage caused by Mental Health problems. We champion individual’s voices, uphold their rights, and promote personal autonomy through the provision of high quality information, advice, and advocacy support.

The purpose of this role is to provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. To ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and to facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient’s forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one to one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.

Duties will include providing professional advocacy to all patients, informing them of their rights and supporting them with any issues that are impacting them during their hospital admission. Ensuring that advocacy is available for all patients, that appropriate methods of communication are available in order to meet the needs of all patients, and to be able to adapt to changing ward based or external changes.

This role is providing specialist advocacy for 12 Forensic Wards at Chase Farm Hospital and in community locations.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Forensic Advocacy Role within a Psychiatric Inpatient Setting and have at least 3 years experience of working in an Advocacy Role.

About Ataxia UK  

Ataxia is the umbrella term for a group of neurological conditions and Ataxia UK is the UK’s leading ataxia support and research charity. Our Services team is dedicated to supporting everyone affected by ataxia in the UK to live their best possible life. We offer a Helpline and Advocacy service that provides trusted information, tailored advice, and one-to-one support to help people access their rights. Alongside this, we deliver a range of activities, engagement opportunities, and volunteer-led initiatives designed to bring the ataxia community together and reduce feelings of isolation. 

About the Role    

We are looking for a Helpline Officer to join our small and supportive Services Team. This role is central to delivering high-quality information and advice via our Helpline, and to supporting and working alongside our trained Helpline Volunteers. 

The Helpline is a trusted source of support for people affected by ataxia, offering clear, accessible information on a wide range of issues including welfare benefits, accessing grants, and access to health and social care. The role also contributes to the wider development of our Helpline and Advocacy services, helping ensure those who need more in-depth support are connected to the right resources. 

This is a part-time role, working 14 hours per week to help deliver our Helpline service. The Helpline currently operates Monday to Thursday from 10:30am to 2:30pm, with plans to extend these hours in the future. 

About you  

You have experience providing advice and information, and you're confident talking to people who may be dealing with difficult situations. You’re comfortable working on your own and as part of a small team. Experience with helplines, volunteers, or long-term health conditions would be an advantage.
