Role Context
As part of Gaddum’s Talking Therapies service, the PWP Supervisor will oversee the Step 2 service within HMR. This role will provide clinical case management and skills supervision to both qualified and trainee PWPs. The role combines supervisory and service leadership with a small clinical caseload and focuses on ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care and strong support for staff wellbeing and professional development.
Our PWPs will be completing training positions, including full participation in an accredited Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) or equivalent training in Low Intensity Interventions at one of our partner universities (e.g., University of Manchester, UCLan, or LJMU).
Role Purpose
The PWP Supervisor will:
• Lead on service development, training, and quality improvement
• Provide high-quality clinical and case management supervision to PWPs
• Support PWPs with clinical risk, complex presentations, and professional development
• Regularly assess and sign off all supervisees’ clinical competency for training and ongoing registration requirements.
• Maintain a small caseload, delivering low-intensity interventions where needed
• Liaison with educational providers of the training courses to meet the joint learning agreement
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical Practice:
• Conduct assessments and deliver low-intensity CBT-based interventions when needed
• Respond to clinical risk and manage urgent presentations, acting as a Safeguarding Officer for the service
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practice in line with NICE guidance
• Contribute to the overall caseload capacity of the service in times of high demand
Quality Assurance and Service Improvement:
• Oversee outcome measures, recovery rates, and KPIs for the service, ensuring they are consistently met and accurately recorded
• Participate in clinical audits, data monitoring, and service evaluation
• Support innovation and continuous improvement within the service
• Complete quarterly reporting as required by the service commissioner
Collaboration and Development:
• Work collaboratively with Step 3 clinicians, GPs, VCSE partners, and university providers
• Contribute to outreach and promotion of the service across HMR
• Facilitate team learning, reflective practice, and training delivery
• Work alongside commissioners from the Big Life Group to achieve shared goals
Academic and Supervision:
• Provide clinical and case management supervision to the team of PWPs
• Monitor PWP trainees’ progress against learning objectives
• Lead PWPs in reflective practice sessions
• Support PWPs to attend and complete all training modules, assignments, and practical components of the university training programme
• Support PWPs to apply academic learning to clinical practice

Most of all, it is about honouring the wishes of those who support us by way of gifts in their Will.
Although the role of Assistant Legacy Officer sits within the Finance Team, it will also include some elements of legacy fundraising and marketing in collaboration with the Marketing and Fundraising team. This includes promotion of our free Will service and supporting promotion of legacy giving through campaigns and events.

- Legacy Administration: Managing a caseload of legacies (pecuniary, specific, etc.), ensuring the organisation receives its full entitlement, and keeping records up-to-date.
- Communication: Interacting with solicitors, executors, and other beneficiaries, responding to inquiries, and providing updates on legacy progress.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed records on the organisation's Digbi system, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating reporting.
- Compliance: Keeping abreast of probate matters and ensuring the charity's legal rights are balanced with reputational considerations.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the Senior Legacy officer and with other teams, when necessary, such as Pet Profile, Finance or Marketing teams in relation to legacy giving, legacy fundraising or gifts in wills.
- Reputation Management: Ensuring all communications and actions related to legacies maintain the The Cinnamon Trust’s positive reputation.

What’s the role about?
This is a great opportunity to join us as the new Chief Finance Officer. As the Depaul Group continues to experience growth and increases its impact, you’ll lead the effective financial and governance support provided by DPI to its subsidiaries. You’ll be the leading interface between the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees and other corporate bodies and subsidiaries. You’ll provide financial advice to the Group CEO, Board and other senior management colleagues, including modelling best practice in financial management, overseeing the financial management in the subsidiaries, setting financial standards for the group and providing support to enable the subsidiaries to meet those standards. You’ll also be leading and supporting the development of a new governance structure for the Group.
What will ideally support your success?
You’ll be a CCAB qualified accountant with experience of strategic financial leadership and management experience and the ability to solve complex problems. In addition, you’ll have experience of working with and advising a diverse range of boards and external stakeholders. It’s important that you also have experience of current financial reporting requirements and financial management practices, including consolidated financial reporting. Strong IT skills as well as an appreciation and understanding of key HR and ICT challenges in the charity sector are desirable. We’re looking for someone possibly, but not exclusively, working in homelessness and/or international development who shows personal integrity in all they do and have a commitment and respect for our aims, objectives and values.

We are looking for a special person to undertake an exciting new role within our passionate team of people dedicated to transforming the lives of animals in need.
You will be responsible for the successful expansion of our existing income streams in line with our fundraising strategy and nurturing successful, long-term relationships with our supporters, donors and key stakeholders.
Key to the success of the role will be the ability to identify development opportunities for our individual giving, legacy giving, grant funding and corporate donor programs as well as opportunities for special appeals to maximise our exposure throughout our whole catchment area.
The role will work closely with other members of the established team to utilise the potential of our Community Fundraising Volunteers and Content Creator Volunteers identifying opportunities for them to maximise their contribution to the Branch’s activities and ensuring their efforts are recognised appropriately.
Your existing communication skills will be put to good use acting as an ambassador for the charity, representing us at key events as well as reporting performance to the Board of Trustees.
This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful operation of the charity into the future and provides a chance to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of animals in need. There is potential to develop the role and shape the future direction of our fundraising activities.
Based at our newly rebuilt animal centre in Chesterfield but with scope also for hybrid working, you will have the opportunity to see our animal rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming work in day-to-day action.

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and experienced sports and challenge fundraiser, to deliver a review of our sports and challenge events programme, identifying new opportunities to grow our income.
Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving and Fundraising Campaigns, you will develop strategies and bring new ideas to grow and develop this programme, potentially including community events – to deliver significant growth in income over the next 5 years.
In this feasibility review, you will analyse our past performance including in well-established, externally organised activities such as marathons and third-party challenge events, and our partner events such as the Terry Fox Runs. You will also assess the feasibility of developing and launching our own-branded events.
During the review, you will line-manage the Sports and Challenge Events Officer to maintain and deliver our current successful events programme and work together on the feasibility review to identify new opportunities for innovation and ways to increase participation.
You will build key relationships across the department and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, to identify and work through new ways to grow participation and increase fundraising income.
At the end of the review, you will present your findings, making recommendations on the key components for a future sports and challenge programme that reflect our ambitions for growth, with plans to deliver it.
This is initially a fixed term project contract. There is potential for the role to become permanent dependent on the direction and outcomes of the review.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will lead a review of our sports and challenge events programme, including third-party activities such as marathons and challenge events, using data to analyse past performance (income and ROI) and assess the feasibility for developing our own-brand sports, challenge or community events – whilst maintaining the success our current programme of activities.
You will:
- Review, develop and prepare plans to deliver a profitable, engaging and effective annual programmes of sports, challenge and community event opportunities.
- Be responsible for managing the annual available sports marketing budget and contributing to annual budget planning.
- Create innovative new sports and challenge events, designed to attract and retain supporters and develop plans to launch these on time, and to budget.
- Work with Communications and Digital teams to develop comprehensive marketing plans to promote our events, secure participants and increase levels of engagement.
- Work with your team to set targets and monitor progress of fundraisers – and manage their participation in cost-effective ways, to maximise return on investment.
- Support your team to provide excellent stewardship and supporter experience, with pre and post event contact, to encourage repeat participation.
- Collaborate with Development teams to cross sell and identify leads for fundraisers from other areas of fundraising, such as major gifts, corporate, appeals and legacies.
- Be responsible for managing and the personal development of your team, to deliver their campaigns and activities, to agreed objectives and KPIs.
About You
You’ll be a confident, motivated, self-starter who is passionate about using your fundraising experience and skills to make a difference to the lives of people with cancer. You’ll be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and creative flair, who enjoys working with a wide range of people, to bring new ideas and initiatives to life.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Proven experience and success in a similar role in events or sports and challenges and / or community fundraising
- A proven track record of being results-driven and working to and achieving fundraising targets
- Significant experience of developing and delivering fundraising / and or event plans
- Ability to create and implement marketing plans (online and offline) for events-related activity
- Good interpersonal skills and experience of building and developing relationships with a wide range individuals, colleagues, event committees, and suppliers
- Highly organised and analytical, with ability to cope with competing priorities
- Experience of setting and managing budgets, developing strategies, and producing comprehensive reports
