Who We're Looking For
You're an experienced commercial professional with a proven track record of generating revenue through partnerships, training programmes, or business development. You might come from membership organisations, professional bodies, charities, education or healthcare settings, or from B2B commercial roles with clear transferable skills.
You have the entrepreneurial confidence to build something new, the strategic thinking to identify opportunities, and the relationship skills to turn those opportunities into sustainable partnerships. You're equally comfortable developing pricing models and financial projections as you are crafting compelling partnership proposals.

The new role of Director of Fundraising took up management of the team in 2024, and is now in the process of building a bigger and brighter team to support increasing income over the next few years.
The Senior Fundraising Manager – Trust and Philanthropy will play a pivotal role in raising funds from grantmaking trusts and HNWIs (philanthropists) towards the work of Futures For All. They will go beyond simply writing applications and reports, to build relationships with prospects and donors, ensuring that each are guided through the solicitation cycle towards maximising their grant to the charity. They will work closely with colleagues, volunteers and leadership to ensure each prospect/donor is engaged appropriately and accurate information is provided in a timely manner. They will also support the overall function of the Fundraising team, supporting other forms of fundraising. They will build relationships with prospects and donors, ensuring that each are guided through the solicitation cycle towards making major donations.

Strategic Purpose
- Fundraising from grantmaking trusts and foundations – build and maintain a pipeline of trust prospects and donors with potential to give £10k+ per annum.
- Fundraising from major donor individuals – building relationships with prospects and donors leading to gifts of £5k or more.
- Collaboration – working with colleagues, Ambassadors and Trustees to engage potential supporters, attend events and solicit donations.
- Proposals and reports – develop and deliver accurate and inspiring fundraising applications and reports meeting and surpassing donor and prospect expectations.
Engagement
- Stewardship – work closely with the Donor Relations Manager to ensure all trust donors are stewarded effectively.
- Collaborate with staff, volunteers and leadership – ensuring you have an expert knowledge of the work of Speakers for Schools and can communicate it passionately and accurately to prospects and donors.
Delivery
- Events – utilise and support fundraising events to create a culture of giving and fundraising within Futures For All. Working alongside the Events Co-ordinator to identify attendees and shape engagement events.
- Data and reporting – ensure information on donors is correctly recorded in Salesforce, and supporting KPI and other reports created by the Director of Fundraising.

- Developing and delivering a world-class stewardship programme, with personalised experiences for existing and new high-level pledgers in your area.

CONTEXT OF THIS ROLE:
At Purposeful, learning is a political responsibility. We are reclaiming and organising our many ways of knowing, meeting stories with data, and building a robust case for this work. We are bridging traditional logical frameworks with feminist learning principles and creating space for their co-existence.
The Senior Learning and Insights Manager will play a critical role-- contributing to a bold learning and insights strategy aligned with Purposeful’s vision, mission, and growth, leading the design of data collection systems, contributing to data collection efforts, from surveys to storytelling, closing feedback loops and crafting knowledge products, intended to inform, influence and amplify.
They will bring technical expertise across a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, they will come with curiosity and a willingness to share. The Learning and Insights Manager will work closely with the Learning and Insights Lead and across all Purposeful teams, particularly Grant-making, Communications and Resource Mobilisation.

SCOPE OF WORK
1. Learning and Insights Strategy and Systems

Contribute to the delivery and implementation of a new Learning and Insights strategy and results framework, building on our Learning Agenda.

Lead the design and embedding of data collection tools and systems across Purposeful teams, in particular our global grantmaking and advocacy teams.

Work closely with the Learning and Insights team to champion a culture of learning within Purposeful and with grantee partners.
2. Technical Support

Lead cycles of data collection across our global grantmaking work - supporting regional teams with technical expertise, as and when needed.

Periodically join learning calls, spaces and convenings with our grantee partners - embedding and supporting documentation.

Lead regular cross team learning and insights meetings and drive follow up actions.

Conduct periodic analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and produce synthesis that informs strategic choices across thematic and regional work.

3. Research

Move learning grants to grantees (approximately five to ten grants annually) to enable them to document their work and/or conduct research which they have identified as a priority - this includes an application process, accompaniment plan and check-ins.

Contribute to the delivery of research led or commissioned by Purposeful, this may include the reviewing TORS and methodologies, check ins with consultants, and reviewing deliverables.
4. Knowledge Production and Dissemination

Conceptualize and produce case studies, briefs or other knowledge products underpinned by quantitative and qualitative data, to assist with case building.

Contribute to the development of other external knowledge products as required, such as slidedecks, thematic briefs, regional briefs, blogs, op-eds, and research reports.

Work across teams to identify opportunities to disseminate and amplify knowledge products, including conference spaces, social media campaigns, webinars, instagram lives and academic publications.

Lead and/or contribute to the drafting of conference and journal abstracts.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

About the role
Kinship is undertaking a major feasibility Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT) of Kinship Connected. This is aligned with recommendations set out in the Kinship Care Practice Guide published by Foundations (2024) and builds on evidence from the Kinship Navigator intervention of support for kinship carers in the USA.
This feasibility RCT is a complex, multi-partner programme involving:
- An active funding partner
- An independent evaluation team
- 5 participating local authorities (to be confirmed)
- Internal delivery teams and cross organisational services
- Kinship carers and lived experience subject experts
The Mobilisation and Delivery Project Manager is the operational engine of the programme, ensuring that every workstream is scoped, resourced, sequenced, delivered and evidenced, and that Kinship is trial-ready, compliant, and well-coordinated through set-up and delivery.
This role needs someone who is an excellent communicator, highly organised, unflappable, curious, and able to sit comfortably in the detail. The successful person will keep a firm grip on timelines, dependencies and risks.
You will manage a Programmes Officer as well as the set-up, processes, documentation, reporting, trial readiness, communications and cross-team coordination. You will work closely with the Programmes Manager who will share responsibility for ensuring high quality performance across the feasibility trial. You will both work closely with the core project team and partners.
You will lead operational quality, systems, processes, data, and compliance. The Programmes Manager will lead practice quality, staff development and supervision, safeguarding and relational delivery. Together you make sure the trial is delivered ethically, consistently and to a very high standard.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a purposeful and proactive individual to work within a small (but growing), friendly and dynamic team in a varied role.
We are expanding our team and so we are looking for a Research and Impact Manager. This hands-on role would suit an insightful, evidence driven researcher and monitoring and evaluation specialist and who is a strong partnership worker. We are looking for someone who is willing to step up when something is needed and determined to see things through.
You will need to enjoy working proactively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, and have a logical, systematic approach, as well as excellent communication and IT skills. Our team works remotely, but there are also opportunities to co-work (depending on location). You’ll be encouraged and supported to grow and develop your research and impact evaluation skills and expertise within this role.
Responsibilities
Working closely with the Warm Welcome Operations Director and wider team your primary responsibility will be to lead on research and impact evaluation to ensure that our strategic approach is driven by evidence. You would take ownership of specific tasks as required, including;
Research:

Developing a research strategy for the Warm Welcome campaign to help to ensure we can meet our overall campaign strategy.

Leading on the co-design of research projects to meet the needs of the Warm Welcome campaign and our partners.

Developing a research and insights hub for the Warm Welcome team where they can easily access the latest statistics on relevant topics such as poverty and loneliness.

Role Purpose
As Product Manager HOSTHub Lead, you will drive the vision, design, and delivery of HOSTHub, HOST’s secure digital platform for global civil society operations.
HOSTHub is the central nervous system of HOST - connecting partners, funders, and internal teams across finance, legal, and operations. You will lead the platform’s development and optimisation, ensuring every user journey is clear, intuitive, and aligned with HOST’s empowering, expert, and empathetic values.
Working closely with the Partnerships and Engagement teams, along with our development contractors, you’ll translate user needs into product strategy, coordinate with the external development team, and deliver tools that make life easier for changemakers, funders, and the HOST team.
This is a strategic, high-impact role for someone who can think systemically, act decisively, and balance big-picture design with hands-on delivery.
Core Responsibilities
1. Product Vision and Strategy
Lead on the design, roadmap, and vision of HOSTHub as HOST’s flagship digital platform.
Translate HOST’s organisational goals into a clear, scalable, and user-focused product strategy.
Define and own product milestones, prioritising features that improve efficiency, visibility, and impact.
Ensure HOSTHub reflects HOST’s values secure, transparent, intuitive, and empowering.
Reporting cadence: Monthly progress and roadmap update to Operations Director and Leadership Team.
2. User Journey and Experience Design
Lead on designing the end-to-end user experience for hosted partners, funders, and staff.
Map user journeys across onboarding, finance, compliance, and reporting workflows, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with the Partnerships and Community Support teams to align HOSTHub with the Hosted Partner and Funder Journeys.
Work with the Communications Team to ensure all user-facing content is accessible, clear, and on-brand.
Reporting cadence: Quarterly user feedback and UX improvement report.
3. Development Oversight
Oversee product design and development process, in coordination with the development team.
Attend demo and planning sessions each sprint, provide clear prioritisation of activities and ensure that development is rolled out as required.
Ensure that all Hosted Partner and HOST team voices are included and prioritised into the platform development, acting as central focal point for all HOSThub needs.
Reporting cadence: Bi-weekly sprint updates; monthly development report.
4. Data, Systems, and Integration
Work with the Data Analyst to ensure HOSTHub captures accurate, useful data for reporting and impact measurement.
Integrate Data and Impact measurement needs into the Product Roadmap prioritisation
Support automation of key workflows across the Delivery and Partnerships Circles, improving speed and reducing manual processes.
Maintain robust documentation of system architecture and data flows.

5. Security, Compliance, and Risk
Lead on platform security and data protection in collaboration with the Legal Lead.
Ensure HOSTHub adheres to global data privacy and security standards (GDPR, AML/CTF, etc.). Prioritise required actions within roadmap.
Conduct regular digital risk assessments and prioritise required actions within roadmap mitigation strategies.
Lead the incident response process for digital issues or breaches, maintaining transparent communication with leadership.

6. Cross-Team Collaboration and Capacity Building
Work across HOST’s teams to ensure HOSTHub serves all service areas - Project Hosting, Hosted Grantmaking, and Capacity Building.
Develop and deliver internal training sessions to build staff confidence and skills in using HOSTHub.
Create and maintain onboarding resources, FAQs, and user guides.
Partner with the Training Lead to embed digital literacy across the organisation and hosted partner community.

7. Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Monitor emerging technologies and sector best practices to inform HOSTHub’s evolution.
Evaluate and test new features, integrations, and user needs to maintain product relevance.

Drive HOSTHub’s role in enabling a distributed, digital-first delivery model.

Required Experience
5–8 years’ experience in product management, digital platform delivery, or systems development - ideally within SaaS, fintech, social enterprise, or digital infrastructure contexts.
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder digital products from concept to launch and iteration.
Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user journey design, with practical experience mapping and optimising workflows for multiple user groups.
Experience managing or coordinating external developers, digital agencies, or tech contractors in remote environments.
Demonstrated ability to translate user needs into technical requirements, prioritising effectively across competing demands.
Familiarity with API integrations, database systems, and workflow automation tools (e.g. Zapier, Airtable, or custom integrations).
Proven success integrating digital tools with finance, CRM, or data systems (e.g. Sage, Salesforce, ClickUp, Zendesk).
Strong data skills, including experience designing or using dashboards and analytics for performance and reporting.

The Role
The Senior Finance and Operations Administrator is a critical, multi-functional role supporting the financial, operational and administrative systems of GGF UK. The role will report to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Operations Manager on all operational tasks.
Acting as a key liaison between grants management, operations and finance, this role requires taking ownership of specific financial processes – particularly those intersecting with grants payments, forex providers and internal systems. The ability to clarify issues and relay technical information across functions will be essential and hence demand high attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to navigate and communicate complex financial and grant-related processes to non-financial colleagues.
Coordinating closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, the postholder will provide proactive administrative support including diary management.
The candidate profile.
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, human rights organisation, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit grant accounting/financial issues and dealing with both financial and grant information and processes, understand accounting principles, and have knowledge of accounting, and grantmaking processes. They have experience of using banking services and payment experiences (including international payments). They demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure the accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They will have the skills to give, receive, and work with feedback constructively. They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions. Multiple language skills would be ideal, while English fluency is a must.
